The best restaurants serving British food in Scalby, Hackness and Staintondale Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Este es un excelente hotel de casa de campo y uno que obviamente es popular entre los visitantes que resintonizan varias veces. La comida suele ser de muy alta calidad y estándar , presentada a un alto nivel. Sin embargo, en una visita reciente, los platos fuertes de la tarde, aunque presentados al estándar normal, se encontraron tibios y obviamente chapados previamente. En ambos días de nuestra estancia los platos de carne obviamente se habían cocinado mucho antes de la comida. De que otra manera al pedir filete de filete , uno mediano y otro medio a bien se presentaron ambos iguales , luke warm y bien hecho .

Fab location and prices seemed reasonable. Had a coffee that was cold and a piece of flapjack that was awful. It was almost like it wasn't cooked. Took one mouthfull and left the rest which was a shame as we'd walked a few miles to get there. Shame our experience wasn't as good as everyone else's.

Hemos estado en el tejo innumerables veces en los últimos meses. Cada visita es de 5 *. La comida es increíble, hemos probado una variedad de elementos en el menú. Mi favorito son las tortitas y mis compañeros el huevo revuelto. Los pasteles son deliciosos y siempre tienen tan buena gama. El personal es muy amable y servicial. Es nuestro lugar de destino y siempre nos sentimos bienvenidos. Gracias.

Complete waste of time, rode over from Dalby forest for a spot of lunch to find the cafe covered in scaffolding and locked up. Is updating your website, google and TripAdvisor so hard? Shame we can’t comment on the food or service. Very disappointed in the lack of customer communication

Spent two nights in this lovely hotel. Stunning views ! The staff and food were excellent. Fairly priced too. The hotel is currently being updated as the decor is a little dated, but the rooms were clean and very comfortable. I would happily go again.

What a fabulous place this is! Perfect wedding venue. Parking great and from the moment we walked in it felt relaxed. All the staff are so lovely and nothing was ever too much trouble. Sammie the bar manager is a legend. Lorraine the breakfast lady is a hoot! The rooms are very spacious and were more than adequate for a two night stay. The place runs like clockwork but keeps an air of tranquility. The grounds are stunning and over the lake was the open air lodge where the ceremony takes place, decorated with lights. All in all a perfect place…. Thank you

Lovely food in a relaxed atmosphere at reasonable prices. Friendly staff especially Chloe who is extremely pleasant and helpful. We regularly eat here and enjoy it every time.

Really enjoyed our lunch today at The Rosette. We were made to feel very welcome by Nikki who was a one man band, serving drinks, food, clearing tables and taking orders but kept smiling all the time. We had the 2 for 11.99 deal. The food was amazing for the price. I had lasagne, hot and very tasty with garlic bread. My friend had the gammon, egg, pineapple and chips, again hot ,tasty and nicely cooked. You get a choice of 5 different kind of chips. My friend had the apple pie (huge slice) and custard, cup of tea for me. We were very pleasantly surprised (after reading some reviews), will definitely visit again.

Carvery was very good plenty of meat & a big choice of vegetables also the staff are very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble spoke to John who was very nice will definitely go back again
