The best restaurants serving British food in Kingston upon Hull, City of Yorkshire and The Humber

This is the best place to eat food after a long working day, the food is cooked fresh and saved with the soup of the day, then dessert, their dough(yoghurt) is the best I have drunk it is a superb way to finish your dinner. Then end your meal with a teapot of choice, my favourite was a green teapot, oh my God! What quality and taste of tea? My favourite dinner that will make me come many times is Afghan Quibuli Special Pulao I highly recommend this restaurant to families, couples and businesses, the inside ambience is so elegantly beautiful. The customer service staff are very friendly, the restaurant is quite large to accommodate various groups including those professing faith. It is open from 12:00 to 23:00 pm. Currently, no booking is required however, if you want whole lamb roasted for you please book 2-3 days or if you bringing a big group it is advisable to book based on what customer services have told me. The restaurant is located in Hull, East Yorkshire

We’d heard so many good comments about this cafe so we gave it a try, on entering you are immediately warmed by the beautiful decor and greeting by staff, the menu is amazing, so different to the usual cafés I’ve been, all their cakes are homemade and the best coffee I’ve ever tasted, the place has a very special vibe, lots of happy customers and the staff were so friendly. I had the dweller which consisted of mushrooms cooked in a creamy truffle and sage sauce on sourdough with a poached egg, WOW a taste sensation, my partner had the potato hash, mixed potatoes with onions, spinach, hollandaise and poached eggs, he really enjoyed it. We took various cakes home, and I have to say the banana and almond loaf is amazing, so all in all a great visit and would highly recommend to anyone, we’ll be back soon.

What can I say.. Thank you. Thank you for a wonderful day. We booked for a family afternoon tea for our Mums 80th birthday celebration & it was wonderful. The food was amazing, the place is amazing & the owners & staff are amazing. If you are think of having a small intimate experience this is the place. Would definitely recommend & will be definitely going back.

Me and my partner have been searching all day for a great atmosphere we've been Witham, Newland Ave, and this bar is the best of the rest by far great work 😍on a Sunday to date great staff and Kerry behind the bar is amazing... thank you cross keys for staying a traditional local boozer 10/10

Had a lovely lunch cooked by Donna. Karen, who was on the counter was very friendly, a lovely lady. An excellent atmosphere in this nice cafe. Have been here many times and am always very happy with everything.

I have had cj's on a number of occasions and really enjoyed the food but recently we have had terrible experiences of them taking money and not delivering food, and as of recently sending an incorrect order but we're unable to contact them as the number doesn't dial in and you can't get them online or anything so now I'm £30 down and my children are let down.

What a hidden gem Stayed there last night, as it was convenient for access to the Connexion concert hall But we are so so glad we chose there instead of the big commercial hotels around Was greeted by Dave, big grin happy to please, took us to our room which happened to be the apartment (Photos do not give it justice) great views over the marina, lots of little complimentary touches Bar and restaurant opened at 5:00pm, that’s where we met Gill, again warm welcoming and very friendly Both had surf and turf, lovely freshly cooked and excellent value Would we stay there again - definitely in a heart beat Thank you gang for a great stay

absolutely good experienced..going for breakfast and dinner .Staff from KT restaurant specially Jerry and Ricardo from pride of hull P&O and the others) were so welcoming and very helpful.Always asking if we are fine and if we need anything just ask any of them attending to us.They are very polite,courteous and communicate well and listen attentively to our needs. MY Husband & I will go again sometime in the future..

Patties were delicious and chips were the way I wanted. Friendly staff and one of the very clean premises.

We visit Cheryl's as often as we can and would recommend it to anyone, we have become great friends with all the friendly staff, you feel at home and nothing is too much trouble..Give it a try when you are on Hassle Road, you won't be disappointed...

I ordered a sausage and tomatoe sandwich. When I started to eat it I noticed in the big bread cake there was only 2 sausages!! Is this the normal order or was there some missing! I'm just asking the question and not being negative. A reply would be nice.

Nice break after a walk before return walk home. Was busy but alot of tables for 4 taken up with single people on laptops, look as though they've been a long time with only 1 drink. Don't think tables should be used as desks when busy. Done this is a few times and always found this problem.

Lovely place cant fault give too much food just need beer garden sorting to be a bit more cosy 🥂
