Me and my partner have been searching all day for a great atmosphere we've been Witham, Newland Ave, and this bar is the best of the rest by far great work 😍on a Sunday to date great staff and Kerry behind the bar is amazing... thank you cross keys for staying a traditional local boozer 10/10

The dark haired bar staff man is so rude not child friendly at all, spoke to us and the kids like rubbish will not come again.

Went to go for a drink tonight 8/9/2023 Friday.. about 11.30 they said they was closing but website said 1am closing then they served a regular after I was going

New Management new menu, Food was good we enjoyed eating there despite we had heard negatives regarding new management. Menu could be more in regards to description. Chicken and chips could basically mean chicken and chips. I am not critizing but your menu layout almost may us leave. It was only our previously good experiences that made us stay.

The pub food used to be excellent and always looked forward to the steak with butterfly chips. It has really gone down the pan Recent visit was a total letdown Steak was tasteless and like leather, chips tasted like they were yesterdays recooked and mixed grill was over cooked and dry Will not be visiting again

Went in Sunday 13th June, two Sunday Dinners and one sizzling Gammon, absolutely brilliant meal and service.

Great meal, friendly staff. Always has been one of my favourite places to eat. Even in these difficult times Crosskeys still manages to be one of the best.

Been here several times before. Our food was nice but nothing special. The thing that spoilt it was the barmaid,no customer service and not very friendly! The waitress was very smiley and happy so that was a positive. Its a shame as usually like it here but the customer service really did let it down.

this is the best place for a pub meal in and around hull, I have been numerous times and never been dissapointed. the staff are very polite the service is very quick the portions are generous and very good quality. the prices are very fair. the tables are cleared and cleaned after every customer and have never had the sticky table problem you get in some places. This is well worth a visit.

First time coming staff all friendly food lovely very big portions definitely no complaints from us would definitely recommend you to friends and family

On a return visit to my home town we decided to visit the Cross Keys for a family meal it was a lovely get together- everyone enjoyed the meal and the staff were very accommodating

This is one of my favourite places to eat. The staff are always friendly, and helpful even when they are rushed off their feet ,which is most of the time. It is advisable to book as it gets very busy.Plenty of car parking. Food is absolutely fabulous,with plenty of variety.Be prepared to wait a little while as all fresh cooked,great portion sizes,but they also do smaller portion plates.Never had a bad meal here yet,whether its just me and my partner or a party of 12 food is consistently good.

Always a pleasure to come to cross keys. One of our local pubs it’s great for sport, a selection of beers and homely food. We are often in cross keys and my partner likes the wide selection of gins available here. There’s a nice atmosphere and plenty of tv screens which they can split over two sky boxes. Sport is shown pretty much every night and live music occurs each weekend.The separate dining area is nice as noise can be sepereated and the staff work quickly and efficiently. The staff are also knowledgeable on their dishes and the selections of drinks they offer which is great as you can make an informed choice. We both had the fish platter which was lovely.

Come here regularly and have never been disappointed. Staff very friendly and the food had always been good quality and not stingy inn the size.

Food was excellent home cooked and very tasty. Staff were very helpful from the moment we walked in to the minute we walked out cannot praise the place enough we have already booked to go again next week taking my family for a triple birthday celebration meal

Had the superb steak pie. Proper job with real pastry and loads of filling. Plenty of veg. Quick service. Perfect.

Pop in every couple of weeks and called in midweek for a meal, three mains ordered, came quickly and enjoyed.

I popped in yesterday and had another quick meal on my way to a meeting. The atmosphere is excellent, the staff are exceptionally friendly, and the food is really good. My scampi and chips was an enormous meal, and really, really tasty. It’s not fine dining, but at the price, it’s excellent value! Well done Cross Keys, you never disappoint!

Booked on a very hot Monday night for 7 people. Work committments meant we couldnt get there until 7 and cut off point for food was 7.45. Mum aged 89 was visiting and wanted us all to be there. Food as always was amazing and delicious and cooked and served piping hot and really quickly bearing in mind we all wanted different dishes. The staff are all brilliant nothing is too much trouble and they make everyone more than welcome. I do eat here quite often and have done for a number of years but the quality and quantity has never changed, maybe even improved. I would definately recommend that you try for yourselves. The fish and chips are the best in my opinion but I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. Thank you all at Cross Keys. Highly recommended.

4 of us went for Sunday Lunch. It was our first visit here and we wasn’t disappointed. The food was superb, very tasty, homemade Yorkshire puddings, plenty of meat, variety of veg and thick tasty gravy. The portions size was plentiful and service good. When we first arrived we were surprised how busy it was, but after sampling the food we realised it’s popularity was due to the high quality food being served at reasonable prices. Would highly recommend to others

We held our mum wake today Rob was so help full his staff are all so nice and friendly although we did our own food today I have taken my mum hear many times and robs food is always good and you always so welcome not hard to see why he has got so meny regulars thanks to all Linda vernon

Fantastic menu to choose from with quality and prices to entice the keenest pub eaters. A very good selection of beers copliments the food

Food was excellent, always is. But my grumble is I wasn’t happy with the service. I e mailed the pub to inform them directly on their enquiry page and never got a reply!!!

Had lunch today and found the fish and chips excellent, my wife had the steak pie and again excellent. I would recommend a visit as you will not find a better meal at very reasonable prices

Visited today with a big group. Food came out at pretty much the same time, which was great considering how many of us there were. Food was lovely with very generous portions. Will definitely be returning.

We were looking for somewhere to eat not too far away as the traffic was awful, we pulled into here and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly there were lots of choices on the menu and the food was very good and reasonably priced. It was so good that we went back the next week and we will be going again in the near future.

We have been to this restaurant quite a few times in the last year and we have not had a bad meal there yet the staff are so friendly and accommodating.

We came to cross keys on the off chance and we was pleasantly surprised lovely decor and staff and food was lovely such a large menu and reasonably priced. I had surf and turf very large portions and all beautifully cooked, the chips where handmade and to die for will definitely be recommending and be coming back

This is my second visit. Wow! I cajnotvrate this place highly enough. The cost to quality ratio is phenomenal.

I took my parents here for lunch as they have eaten here previously, we had lovely home cooked style pub food, highly recommended. I had a small portion of steak pie and chips and peas and my mother had a small fish and chips. The fish was white and fresh and a good size for a small portion. My father had the fish platter which could of easily fed two people. Great service from friendly staff a good choice for pub food.

This is a nice little hotel and pub which suited me whilst working in Hull. Upon arrival I was shown to my room by a friendly man. Room was really big and I was surprised how good it was given I have stayed in horrible places for the same money in the past. Nice and warm (some places keep the heater off). Clean. Would come back again next time I need a stop over.

Popped today after a shopping trip to kingswoods. 2 Turkey toast dinners and 2 cokes for a little over £14.

We had a party of 34 people, all wanting various meals from the menu at 5pm on a Saturday night and I must say, it was amazing!

Was in the locality a fortnight ago heading towards the garden centres towards Beverley with OH and grandson. All of us were sick of the traffic crawl due to Inglemire Lane being closed so when I got the opportunity I diverted into the Cross Keys in the hope of losing the traffic whilst having lunch.

The pub menu is extensive and superb quality at a very reasonable price. It is a well kept pub with well kept beers. Have eaten there many times with small groups and groups of ten or more and the quality of the food is always excellent. Would recommend especially for groups where there are many different palates - there is something on this menu for everyone.

I have visited here many times and not been disappointed. The service is friendly and efficient. I had the chicken combo and my friend the gammon. They where both excellent. Well cooked and very tasty. We will be back here again.

Great friendly place to stay, was working in Hull on a long term contract, good home cooked food and the beer is not bad either and I made some good friends while I was there. Would stay there again if I work in Hull. Steve room 9

I had small meat pie, plenty and tasty, i have to say best steak pie i have had. Husband had sizzling garlic chicken, he loved it, so moist. Fantastic value. Staff lovely. What more can you ask. Thank you

Decent quality pub grub. Served quickly and hot. Good value for money. Staff pleasant. Always good amount of choice and special board changes regularly.

This is the place to go for some good honest fayre. The variety makes it hard to choose, the portions are good, the veg is fresh not out of a freezer or a tin (unless used as a back-up when caught out by demand) and the beers are in top form too. It's easy to see after years of experience why the owners have a popular establishment and why their is often a need to book.

Stayed here 1 night with my 2 brothers staff great rooms good beds so comfortable it's a lovely pub.

Arrived to be told we had got the time wrong as service does not start until 5pm; to find we had actually been booked in for 4.30pm as we originally stated. No apology for the abruptness and was told to sit wherever we wanted. Ordered food; starters was great, main meal arrived to find one was the wrong meal, debated on whether to just eat it and not say anything but half of it wouldn't have been eaten. Asked for it to be changed which wasn't a problem initially but then the same waitress from when we arrived came out, very hostile, stating we had ordered wrongly, even though there was three of us at the bar at the time of ordering saying we hadn't ordered what had been served. She continued with attitude towards my daughter- she was awful. Food was great and the rest of the staff was wonderful but this women should never be working with the public, will never go back again after the way she spoke to us. This women ruined our evening of my daughters graduation, we were glad to get home. Only gave two rating for the other staff and food but to be honest I begrudge giving two after this lady's attitude

Ate here every night of my 3 night stay in Hull. The food was very good with a wide variety. They do small meals at a good price. Had fish and chips. sweet and sour chicken and steak pie which were all good

We stayed here on Saturday night as we were in Hull for the Paul Heaton concert. From our arrival to us leaving we were made extremely welcome by Rob and his family and all the staff at the Cross Keys. We were unsure about the transport links to and from the gig and were given all the info we needed. We were able to check in at lunch time which allowed us to leave the car and head out for the day which was much appreciated. The pub is a friendly and good value for money place to stay and ideally located for Hull city centre with great transport links. Thanks for an enjoyable stay. Danny and Anita Mills.

Stayed here with my boyfriend and group friends as we were going to radio 1 big weekend - Owner gave us a warm welcome and allowed us to check in early, everyone is so friendly. Rooms are basic but have everything that you need in them! We would stay again! I'm just gutted we didn't get to try the food as it looks amazing. Definitely recommend.Thankyou guys for looking after us x

We come a couple of times a month. Good value for money and plenty of choice on menu. Nice surroundings and friendly staff. Good car park. Toilets could do with a bit of upgrading.

My family and i came here for tea and don't get me wrong we didn't have any fault with the food it was the staff, the landlady in particular. Her attitude was disgusting and she was very rude!We ordered our food at 6.30pm, brought to our table at about 7, we had finished eating at 7.40 and decided we would all like a pudding to then be informed that they had stopped serving food at 7pm. We were a little confused to hear this as we had just seen a table next to us receive their dessert order. So i queried this with a waitress who went back to the kitchen to ask the chef. A different waitress then came over to apologise and said that the kitchen would not be serving. She could obviously see by our faces that we were not pleased.A few minutes later another lady came out and this turned out to be the landlady. She was very confrontational and asked why we didn't know that the kitchen shut at 7. We informed her that it was our first time there and it wasn't well displayed that food stopped at that time. She then said it was on the tv above the bar. Who goes out for tea to watch tv?! She then proceeded to slam the menu on the table and said she would do our desserts very begrudgingly!At any other time i would have said no and just left it but her attitude was disgusting. To say that we had not been rude with her and nothing but nice i was appalled. I made a point of telling her that we should have been told when we ordered our food at 6.30 that if we wanted desserts the kitchen closes at 7pm.I was really let down by this place as a few people have said the service was good but after being there myself i do not agree. Definitely would not recommend!!

After trying several pubs and restaurants across the city over the past few months, with mixed success, my friend and I decided to check out the highly acclaimed Cross Keys. When we entered, there wasn't another soul in there which for lunch time is extremely unusual for any food establishment but we figured that would just mean less waiting time and a quieter atmosphere. When it came to ordering our food not all of the options available were listed on the menu and not knowing that I could order an 'adult' sized pizza I ordered a children's pizza with chips. Upon ordering, the barmaid read back the order and, as it was not clearly stated in the menu, I was not aware that the children's pizza came with chips. Because of this I asked the barmaid how many chips came with the children's pizza as if it was enough I would cancel the extra chips I had ordered. The woman behind the bar, in her mid 60's if I had to guess, then proceeded to be somewhat rude towards me, almost mocking me because I wasn't aware that there was an adult pizza option and because I asked how many chips the children's pizza came with (I didn't want a numerical amount just a rough estimate like 'a handful' or something along those lines). Now it could've been sarcasm but not well conveyed so I decided not to question her deplorable customer service skills. The waiting time for the food was rather short with my pizza arriving first and my friend's meal arriving very shortly afterwards. My friend said her food was nice and she didn't have any complaints about her food however this was not the case for my pizza. Immediately after my food was brought to me I noticed something was incredibly wrong with my pizza. The hot, slightly overcooked, hard pizza stank of URINE! YES, URINE AS IN WEE!! It took me a while to get over the foul smell of the cheese and tomato pizza and even my friend noted at the pungent smell coming from it. Eventually I managed to hack my way through the pizza to see if it tasted any better than it smelled. It did not. Now although the pizza didn't taste of urine it definitely didn't taste like a cheese and tomato pizza should and I should know, I've had plenty of them in my years on this planet. I would have complained about this, however after my experience with the barmaid earlier, I decided to leave my pizza and when my friend had finished her food we left.The Cross Keys has a reasonable priced menu, short waiting times and I would imagine if it were a bit busier there would be a not so deathly atmosphere and I'm sure this was likely just a one off incident (apart from the barmaid who has been mentioned in other reviews on here). However because of my poor experience with the disgusting excuse for a pizza and the substandard customer service, I will not be returning to this establishment again nor would I recommend the pizza to anybody who was contemplating eating here. What should have been a nice meal out with my friend ended up with me going to McDonalds for my lunch, that is how bad the pizza was.

Went on spare of the moment for a late Sunday Lunch around 4pm, exceptionally busy but managed to get table for 2.I had the smaller beef and my husband had the smaller lamb which were very generous.It came with roast potatoes, cabbage, cauliflower cheese, peas and carrots and a lovely homemade Yorkshire pudding and gravy.Wished it had been served on a larger plate for the quantity! But didn't spoil.We didn't have to wait long for our meal.I would definitely recommend.

Been many times for lunches and dinner with my parents. Mum always loves the steak - cooked to perfection. They now have a nut roast on just for me (year round now just for Christmas!) plus a couple of other veggie options. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Great place

Went for lunch with a friend and was not disappointed I had Haddock and chips and the fish was soooo fresh and huge and the chips were homemade,my friend had the roast beef which was delicious

Visited tonight (20/03/17) with my boyfriend, and from start to finish, our visit was excellent. The venue serves Strongbow Dark Fruits which is rare for a privately owned pub, it's my favourite drink so I was delighted. Very reasonably priced too! Other establishments charge around £4 plus, for just one pint.On to the meals, I ordered the Cumbrian Sausages and Eggs, and my boyfriend ordered the Combo Burger. Both meals arrived very promptly, were piping hot and were utterly delicious. I even ordered an extra egg and portion of chips because the home made chips served here are beautiful. We ate the lot, and didn't leave a crumb!Service was spot on too. Really found nothing to complain about. This pub is a typical example of a friendly, family orientated eatery, with an excellent owner and a great team of staff. They've updated the kitchen hours to make them longer and that's terrific, in the past I'd finish work and always miss kitchen hours and so wouldn't be able to eat, great move Rob!All in all, 10/10. Very well done! My hat is off to Rob for managing to run such a brilliant pub, especially in such times where privately owned establishments struggle to survive.

Cross Keys has become a family favourite again recently! We booked a table of 6 on the same day - we've turned up before without booking and struggled to get a table. We go here because the food is good, well priced home made pub food. No microwaved meals or frozen veg. They do do a children's menu, but they also do small versions of a few of the main meals as well, like Sunday roast and meat pie. The service at the bar is great, and the food arrives fast. My only gripe is that they don't clear the tables as fast as they could, and with two toddlers on the table maybe I was being impatient. The restaurant (and toilets) are all very clean and well kept which makes you think everything you can't see is clean too. It's good home made food in a nice welcoming pub restaurant. We will definitely be going back again and again

We have never had a bad meal here, and all members of our family have enjoyed it. The steak pie is one of the best pies I've ever eaten.

On arrival the bar was soo busy with diners very popular venue,we thought we would have to wait ages as everything is home cooked but there was 6 of us and our order came quite quickly,myself and husband often come here as it's brilliant value for money, brought our family on this occasion and hoping they would enjoy it and certainly didn't disappoint!!! Lovely service and great portion's and my favourite homemade chips,had a brilliant lunch my family loved it too so will definitely come back!!!!!!

Visited for lunch. The food opened at 12 and all tables full be 12 20. Very efficicient, polite and smiling service. A full menu offered, very good pricing, quality everyday type food and cooked. Not a chain pub. Will certainly be biding again and recommending.

Attended on a Saturday lunchtime whilst we were in the area and were seen to by a very pleasant young lady member of the bar staff. We ordered a sizzling chicken dish and the fish and chips off their two for 11 quid menu (used to be a tenner lol). The food was excellent and piping hot. Two coffees and total bill under 15 quid which was excellent value. Would recommend to anyone in the area to give it a try.

I came for a meal a few weeks ago with my wife son and my wife's uncle and aunt the menu was extensive and they also did a special board I chose the mixed sizzling grill it was amazing my son had the sizzling chicken which he really enjoyed the other 3 had the meat pie 2 small and 1 large my wife said it was to much and should of gone for the smaller portion We all had pudding and I wanted apple pie and ice cream the menu said custard but the staff changed it for me Price was really good didn't wait long for the food restaurant nice and clean staff very helpful this was my first visit but not my last

The meals are very good, with a varied menu. Two meals for £11.75 is really good value. There is an alternative menu to choose from if you can't find anything on the above, maybe for someone who has a very big appetite. Also smaller meals for those not wanting the alternatives.excellent choice from the bar too. Also there is a bar with pool table, TV to keep up with soccer etc.

A friend and I both have birthdays this week so we normally go out for a meal to celebrate. On the basis of the excellent reviews on this website, we thought we would try the Cross Keys. The lounge was clean, warm and tastefully decorated. We had difficulty choosing from the extensive and very reasonably priced menu but eventually both picked the steak pie. The quality of the food was very good: the home-made pie was chock-full of tender meat, the chips and carrots had not been inside a freezer. The fish and chips and steaks served to adjacent tables looked very good as well. Unfortunately, we couldn't manage a pudding but we will be going back before our next birthdays! I particularly liked the fact that patrons could take their own plate and take their food home with them - great idea.

This was the second time i have been in two weeks and left me feeling completely satisfied. Meals for four on both occasions, two roasts, two curries, two meat pies, Fish and Chips and Liver and Onions were eaten and all of us left clean plates. Only problem we had was deciding what to order, customers on either side of us had dishes which looked really appetising. Food came quickly after ordering and looked really nice, the taste did not disappoint and was delicious.Nice to eat in a pub with such good food, we will definately be back.

Arrived at this venue after a Christmas shopping trip to a very warm welcome. We found an extensive menu and the staff were very friendly. The prices and portion sizes are excellent and our 6 year old granddaughter even rated the pub 9 out of 10 as she thoroughly enjoyed her gammon, egg and chips! All four of us would recommend the Cross Keys for a meal.

Upon entering this establishment I noticed it was very busy so enquired how long it would be for a meal. The older barmaid in her 60's informed me most of the tables were reserved but there might be one I can use. So, I looked through the bar and asked about seating in the other room, to which she said there was a private party in there.Another younger barmaid came across and she was very helpful and pointed out which table was appropriate to use. After settling down and food ordered this lady cleaned the table and brought cutlery as necessary. My meal arrived promptly and was delicious. However, whist sat enjoying my lunch another couple entered the lounge and were told no tables available but entered the tap/bar room and sat down.As I left to go about my business I looked into the bar where there was supposed to be a private party to which I saw scruffy workmen propping the bar up and the other couple having their lunch. There were a few other random people scattered around so I do believe there was no private party taking place.Now whether I am by myself or not I left feeling quite disgusted that the older barmaid obviously lied and there was no private party.

First time at the Cross Keys, had no prior knowledge of the establishment. Arrived with a large group of friends for a Sunday dinner. Service was fantastic, we were all seated together and the food was excellent. Tip of the hat for the amazing Yorkshire puddings. They paved the way to recovery. Could not praise the place enough. Great staff, fantastic food. Highly recommended

Decided on a cold misty morning to visit this establishment for a roast luncheon. Arrived into a lovely pub, and was directed to the seating area by a handsome gentleman. We had already decided on a roast lunch, so ordered immediately. Food came out astonishingly quickly, and was of excellent quality. I had the lamb, and it was very succulent. All the vegetables and potatoes were cooked excellently.Overall, very friendly staff, with great food and excellent prices.

I and my family really rate this pub/hotel's food. When it says 'home made' you can just tell it is - such a refreshing change from the microwaved stuff so many other pubs seem pleased to offer these days. Service comes with a smile too!

Me and the wife called into cross keys today for the first time after reading great reviews on here,and I'm very happy i did aswell the food was outstanding you can tell its home cooked food,the staff was polite and friendly,we have found a new place to eat now,plus it perfect for people who have a small appetite or perfect for someone with a big appetite. Thankyou so much for making the visit great.

Popped in for tea with my 7 year old daughter after work at her request. She loves this place as do I. Lovely fresh fish and chips and a gammon dinner followed by chocolate brownie and an amazing home made trifle. I have never eaten something I didn't like here and our whole family have been coming for over 10 years. Brilliant laid back atmosphere with friendly attentive staff who greet you like old friends. Couldn't ask for more :D

Love this place. Friendly staff and great food.We stopp here for lunch and a good old Worthington pint of shandy, lovely. Always welcome. They have a great menu. Jill and Rob are very friendly.The pub is always busy. We would thoroughly recommend you pay it a visit.

Visited here quite a few times after a recommendation from a family member and to be honest it was probably the best heads up for a local pub I've had.We visit as a family or just myself and the wife and we have never once come away disappointed with the quality and quantity of food we've had from here.Excellent service by attentive staff at a very reasonable price too with a varied menu for all tastes and appetites. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys pleasent surroundings and top notch pub grub.

Have visited the cross keys many times over the last few months after it was recommended by a friend. Have tried many different meals from the menu and always enjoyed it. Good atmosphere, excellent friendly service and quality food at a reasonable price. Will be back many more times

I have been before. It is a little gem. Very good location and Rob and Jill are very welcoming. The room was nice and clean. The bed was so very comfortable and they provide towels. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the kitchen. But would recommend the pub food... quality and taste at its best... and very reasonably priced..Definatly highly recommend and will go back...

Visited Cross Keys for Sunday Lunch and will be back again soon. Sunday roast was great and the veggie option was a delight. My son had fish and chips which was huge and beautifully cooked. Everything is homemade and staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

Best B&B in Hull, very good food and the staff are all great (especially Linda and Sam). Rooms are clean and tidy and comfy beds with fluffy pillows! Landlords a top man.

Had a lovely sunday roast this week with the family, it was enjoyed by all Thanks to the chefs I have visited a few time too, fish and chips on a friday is a must and also the cajun chicken are both my favourites

As long as it takes to cook, could not ask for a better waiting time. The food was amazing as were the staff. We do not often see behind the scenes but hats off to the kitchen staff. The service was exceptional and complimented the meal.

I have visited this establishment numerous times, the staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and I have organised several family occasions from here. Would recommend the steak.

We visited cross keys 11/09/16, after great reviews of the food and being disappointed with numerous places we'd tried before we went to cross keys for our Sunday lunch.We were not disappointed! My partner, my 2 year old and myself had a roast beef dinner, it was delicious. Proper homemade Yorkshire puds and fresh veg. We paid £6.95 and the serving was huge. For my 2 year old we paid £4.95 and her serving would of been enough for me.My son ordered gammon, egg and chips and this came with onion rings, mushrooms and peas. The chips were homemade and really tasty.We all really enjoyed our meals and would definitely recommend you try it.

We had two meals at the Cross keys during our short break in Hull and both were good value for money. The fish platter was a more than adequate portion and well cooked. The service was quick and the surroundings pleasant. Did find it strange that with the gammon meal, peas were classed as an extra.

I visit this pub often as it's close to hand, the staff are efficient and friendly; along with a certain Northern charm which I really like. The food isn't gourmet, but it's not priced like that either. It's plain cooking at it's very best. I had a pork roast dinner with all the trimmings just like my Mother used to cook for me, and a pint of Guinness - all for less than a tenner.The atmosphere is great, and it just really cheers me up going in there. The choice of food is very good and even though it's generally busy, you never have to wait too long. It's the sort of pub which is in the tradition of northern pubs which is dwindling now. It's got a darts team, a pool team and they have live entertainment every Saturday night. I cannot recommend this pub enough. Well done Cross Keys!

Cross jets is a traditional pub . Very attractive from outside and traditional decor. A friendly welcome awaits. Good selection of pub food available which is tasty and reasonable priced. Good atmosphere .

we have visit few time to this pub the excellent to be , the clean people who run the are friendly too food is not my chosen only for night out

My son and I had lunch this week... both really enjoy the meal in this friendly atmosphere .. Will be going back.... Great prices and a proper pint.

Been past the place a million times but never tried glad we did we got two roasts fish and chips a sizzling chicken dish and a kiddies meal.The food arrived very hot and very tasty the barman and staff very friendly and a nice atmosphere for the price this place will take some beating .Will definitely be returning !

Fish and chips are best every tasted homemade chips and lovely white fish, the Cajun chicken is fab too. Meals so reasonable too.Rob and staff are lovely special mention for Linda whom always has a smile a joke to tell.

the prices are low so I think food is very good for the price and somewhere you can go regularly for a quick enjoyable tea out.. not somewhere I would want to go for a special occasion but it's a decent well maintained pub can't fault for price

Been here several times and not once have I been disappointed. Great quality food for the price you pay. I recommend the steak, a real quality piece of meat cooked just how I liked it. Great range of beers and wine. Also a great traditional bar area away from the restaurant with pool table and televisions. Perfect for watching the match or taking the family out!

Popped in quite late on a sunday aftetnoon after looking on website fir food service times and enjoyed a lovely sunday roast lamb dinner, my partner Mark had roast beef.It was perfectly homr cooked eith fresh veg huge portions and oerfect service. First visit and certainly not the last!! Thank you.
