Delicious scones bought to take away. Rhubarb and Ginger, Blueberry and Lemon, Cherry Bakewell and some cheese scones, all absolutely delicious, even the next day. Definitely the best scones in Ripon.

Lovely place to visit for a stay over, drinks or food. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Owner and staff were very friendly. Bedroom was very cozy and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend.

Plenty of choice & good value. We had a good chat with all the staff and because there was five of us put a chair at the end of a table
It’s a nice pub with a nice outlook, service was very slow but the food arrived fairly quickly, the food itself was typical pub grub, edible without any wow factor, it’s no different to anywhere else
Heaps of gluten free options. Open about the potential to cross contamination. I’m very sensitive to contamination and had no reaction. Delicious food best of the trip so far by leaps and bounds! Coc
First time ordered take aways and when we got home we were so disappointed. Wish was old and dry and the batter was over cooked and lumpy batter pieces. Chips looked like they were the last bit left
