La comida era muy cara y pobre, £ 5. 50 para un panini, ni siquiera un poco de ensalada con él. El café era realmente decepcionante, tenía mejores cafés de una máquina expendedora. Siente que es muy caro para lo que obtienes y sientes que es tan popular como lo es debido a que es compatible con perros y ser capaz de detenerse a mitad de su paseo.

Absolutely blown away by our experience at The Mayflower Pub! The food was nothing short of phenomenal—every bite packed with flavor and clearly crafted with care. Nice little place in the town,could do with bigger tables,good breakfast, good staff, need to keep door close to much noise from traffic, I would go again ,parking over the road

What a lovely place. The atmosphere was good. The food was amazing. Reasonably priced and value for money with large portions. Really good place to go for great food. Highly recommend the steak which was cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and professional and nothing is too much for them. They cater for everyone, young to old.

Didn't receive the food that we expected. Ordered the all day breakfast which clearly states it comes with 2 pieces of toast, it arrived with one slice so we mentioned it and was told oh yes it is normally two, they cut it in half!!! Asked someone else and they arranged for an extra piece, they brought one, we said there are 2 of us she went away came back after speaking to a manager and said it's a misprint and couldn't give us any more. I'm sorry but I ordered based on what it said, had it said one I would have ordered an extra one. The message deliverer was young and lacked people skills, left us feeling really unhappy. I expected better but clearly I expected too much. Disgusted!!

Used to go a lot. Standards gone dramatically downhill last couple of years. Decided to give it one last try. Asked for a pot of tea for two whilst we decided on food. The smallest pot of tea arrived. (Both teapot and milk jug were chipped.) couple sat next to us had a pot of tea twice the size, they said they also asked for tea for 2. Ouside seating looks cheap, and table very small, not what you’d expect for the prices your paying. Decided to give food a miss and went elsewhere instead.

Not the place it used to be. Gone dirty and the gents toilet was disgusting as it looked like it hadn't been properly and hygienically bathroom cleaned for weeks. Service was slow and staff run off their feet because there wasn't enough of them. The once glorious soughdough bread has gone and there are no tea cakes (at Easter!!!). Such a shame as I used to enjoy going here....but not anymore. For the prices you pay, it is poor value for money. The owners have run the place down and should be ashamed. It used to be great
