My favourite pub in the area lovely little place to dance and drinks served quick.

Beautiful well worth it and good price

Excelente almuerzo con buena opción de 2 y 3 platos. Habíamos pasado el Pax varias veces y estamos muy contentos de haberlo probado. Nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y la comida era de primera clase y precios razonables. El pub es mucho más grande de lo que parece desde el exterior, así que no te dejes engañar si parece ocupado. Lo recomendamos encarecidamente.

Very friendly staff, food is delicious and the coffee/cake is outstanding. Ben was also charming and welcoming. Lynn was also very lovely, certainly worth a visit if you are popping through Market Weighton.

Another bar recommended that we visit here as the beers were very good, sadly that wasn't the case! there was only one decent ale and that wasn't really very good. Lovely warm welcome though, and the food looked good, but we didn't stay to eat.

Llamó en camino al Gran Teatro y estaban satisfechos con el ambiente acogedor y gran elección de cervezas independientes. Probó la bombilla verde y no se sintió decepcionado. Feliz de volver cuando viene en Leeds. Buen servicio.

Excellent well priced food cooked to order but not long to wait. Really good service from attentive staff. Beer quality as good as it gets. 10/10.

Popped in for a quick pint saw they were making home made pizzas . Had a pizza and a pint combo along with a game of pool while I waited . Absolutely delicious. Was well worth been late home . So took one home for the wife too. . Happy days

Ordered £50 worth of food for it to be delivered and half of it missing refused.to redeliver the missing food.

A warm welcome from landlady Rachel at this traditional Farndale pub. Well kept ales on tap and a decent Rose wine slaked a thirst on arrival followed by a plump Sirloin Steak and trimmings and a plate of crispy scampi to keep us fed. Excellent value for money and all the traditions of top class inn-keeping can be found here in the glorious setting that is Farndale.

My wife and I had a superb Sunday Lunch here today. I love this pub. Everything is good. The beer, the service, the food, and the ambience are all top class. Will always come back.

a real full English, freshly made to order, toast, coffee, fresh fruit and cereals or yogurt if you wanted them. Wonderful!

Too noisy Went to this pub one evening with family we haven’t seen for two years. Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice enough pub but the music is horrendously loud so we had to leave. We couldn’t hear ourselves speak, otherwise we would have stayed. Big disappointment, turn it down. Take note!!!!!

We ate here on a Saturday night. Warm welcome from the owner. The food is traditional pub grub such as cottage pie, liver and onions, sausage and mash, chilli, scampi etc. all home cooked.
