The best restaurants serving British food in West Midlands

Locals pub. They seemed friendly enough, drinks OK. Some bald guy called Carl was hogging the pool table and never bought a drink all night while I was there!

I’ve been calling in for a fish and chip lunch on Saturdays for the last few months. Food is consistently amazing, and I’d go so far as to say the best I’ve ever had. The staff are lovely, polite and efficient always happy to serve you. Food is piping hot and every where is spotlessly clean what more could you ask for! See you again very soon x

Visited a couple of weeks ago with a friend to visit Bilston Market, spotted Andy’s and gave it a try for Breakfast, it was so good that decided to travel back from Birmingham, on Saturday with My husband to sample a second big bite breakfast, well worth the trip, breakfast was delicious. And worth every penny.

Great little shop / cafe, very welcome addition to the area. Lovely breakfast that was great value for money, dog friendly also which is great as so many people around the area have dogs.

We had gorgeous baps with salad and cups of tea. Reasonably priced and comfortable chairs/tables. Nice atmoshere.

The steak was beautiful cooked to perfection best food I've had in a while. Presented and served perfect amount. Top marks to the chef, my partner enjoyed his ribs aswell.

Went to see brassed off on Saturday evening and had a meal in restaurant gammon was okay but the vegatables were cold and one and half new potatoes was mean ,overall overpriced will not go again

Great food ,brilliant service at a sensible price. Order a takeout or delivery during these bad times and you still get the same excellent food and service . I cannot recommend highly enough.

Don't waste your money Awful place, the cafe resembles a school canteen, with the floor having chipped garage paint, completely souless, school canteens are better than this. We had booked some weeks ago for afternoon tea for Mother's day.. very disappointed from rude staff to tasteless dry sandwiches and luke warm watered down coffee. The toilets were dirty with tissue all over the floor

I am writing this direct from the Flower pot cafe.. I don’t want to write this review but after 6 interventions trying to get 2 pots of tea, a tea cake and a scone correct I lost my appetite and patience. Here the list of issues 1. Having ordered our choices as above other clients were served before us after being seated after us. 2. I went to the desk and could see my tea cake sitting on the tray - on serving it was cold and the button was rock hard so could spread it and ripped the bread apart 3. It was a large tea cake but second visit for an additional butter. 4. My wife knifes for her scone was dirty from the tip to the top of the handle. 5. Having now rescued a new knife there was no sugars or sweetener provided - up again ! 6. All must be ok now ? - no there were no tea spoons provided Seriously this is extremely poor service and at £2 a pot and a bill for £9.90 I think it deserves a mention and I would like to see an acknowledgement from the owner. Under New management, excellent food, full English breakfast, wok noodles, biryanis, burger s, jacket potatoes, samosas , sandwiches, & much more 👌🏼

Stopped here for lunch. I had the sausage casserole and my partner had fish and chips. The food was well presented and really tasty. Homemade chips as well. I loved the casserole. Iv cooked in Michelin star restaurants and the food here was as good as what we cooked. I recomend this place if your out shopping in Oswestry.
