Stopped here for lunch. I had the sausage casserole and my partner had fish and chips. The food was well presented and really tasty. Homemade chips as well. I loved the casserole. Iv cooked in Michelin star restaurants and the food here was as good as what we cooked. I recomend this place if your out shopping in Oswestry.

This cafe has changed hands again, and the name has changed to Raya's Kitchen Cafe. The previous owner is now the chef and Raya, who used to work in the cafe, now is the proprietor. So the excellent cooking is still in the same hands and the cafe has been smartened up by Raya and a few small changes to the menu, but nothing drastic, as it was already great. I still recommend it for excellent food and service, as well as friendliness. In my opinion they make the best breakfasts in town as well as great other meals.

This cafe has changed hands since I last reviewed it, and it's even better now. The decor has been brightened up and the chairs replaced to give it a more rustic, cosy look. The food is still lovely and great value for money, and the atmosphere is still very friendly and welcoming. It's not a large cafe, so it fills up quickly, but it's worth going for a wander round the stalls in the market and coming back when a table has freed up. The breakfasts are so good, and great value for money with the toast and coffee or tea included. The fish is fresh and the batter home-made, and the chips are proper hand-cut ones. I'm happy to recommend this cafe as I eat there often.

We came here with friends for breakfast and everyone enjoyed their food. Between us we had a fried breakfast, sausages, egg, beans and chips, baked potato with cheese and beans, and a sausage sandwich. The prices are nice and cheap and the food tasty. Food is ordered at the counter, but is brought to the table. We all got our food and drinks promptly and it was all nice and hot. The cafe was clean and had a cheery atmosphere. We would definitely go back.

I went to market cafe today. As went last week. The girl serving me was rude. The breakfast tasted horrible & greasy with black bits all over bacon. Suggesting the grill hadn't been cleaned. compared to last weeks food that was lovely cooked by a different girl. The kitchen looked dirty. Girls hair not tired back!! To top it off had to clear own table. I will not be going there again, unless Different girl back cooking again, As her food was a lot cleaner and nicer. Also tell family & friends to stay away. Need to learn customer relations skills !!

Sort of stumbled across this lovely pub, last Saturday, whilst looking for somewhere dog-friendly to eat. We were welcomed in, and the food was excellent.

Perfect English tea rooms very popular with tourists and locals it seems. We wished we could have had time to visit for a second time! We will certainly pop in next time we are in the area. Marvellous

Only wanted a light lunch and asked how much the sandwiches were, told that it depended on what we had in them. My friend had a turkey, cranberry and stuffing sandwich and I had cheese and onion. Tw
