We have been visiting Odfellows for over 8 years now and have never been disappointed! We reserved a table for 21st August for my Father in Laws birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted by Danielle and her colleague who were - as always - great! We had 2 x Lamb roast dinners and Fish and Chips for our mains, along with some tasty starters and deserts! As always the food and service was 10/10, we can not fault a single visit to Odfellows! As a local, I always recommend to everyone that we meet, and hopefully they will also attract some new custom from further afield!

Stopped for dinner and drinks on a Saturday evening. Food was really good and overall we had a lovely meal. We did feel a bit rushed given the service was almost a bit too quick! Plates whipped away as soon as we’d finished and not much time to deliberate on the menus without being asked a couple of times if we were ready to order. Seems strange to comment on very quick service but it did feel a bit like we were in the way.

Went for lunch ordered drinks which were delivered promptly by a charming waitress ordered our lunch without issues.after around ten minutes wait a lady whom I assume was manager arrived to announce that they weren't prepared to serve us because I had previously said that I thought that the chef was incompetent. I still don't remember the incident in question (it must have been months ago I live in France) however if I did say that it would be because I thought the chef to be incompetent.we were asked to leave.This is what happened make of it what you will.

Made a reservation for 7.30pm, had this confirmed via email. Arrived at restaurant on time to find the doors locked. There were a few people inside and a note on the door saying something about ‘only regulars welcome’. We waited a while and tried the door a few times again, but no luck. No idea why they would accept reservations and then lock out their patrons. Looks slightly run down based on the outside of the restaurant. No problem, went across the road and had a fantastic meal and a lovely night. Not too sure what to think of this restaurant!

Family lunch for 8 of us. Fantastic service, super food. We were looked after very well and we had a lovely lunch. Top service from Oddies team - thanks!

Love the interior of odd fellows and service is friendly. Drinks are expensive theres no doubt but menu is excellent for a Saturday treat if in shifnal.

No real issues with the drinks on offer or staff but there was an awful smell- sewage like which was very unpleasant and meant a very short stay. Also, they close at 11 not 12

On Friday night we usually visit for a few drinks after work, but this week we decided to try the bar snacks. One word AMAZING, especially the firestix chicken. What is better than a few drinks in the bar with some small plates. My only suggestion is have some menus out, because when we ordered ours 2 tables either side of us looked in amazement and then ordered themselves. Service is always excellent and great for beers and a great selection of gins as always

Went to Odfellows yesterday lunchtime with my sister and baby niece for a meal. I had a lovely turkey sandwich, as if I hadn't had enough over Christmas! The staff were great, very accommodating as we had a baby with us. Can't wait to go back.

Myself and my partner have recently moved to Shifnal and so we decided to try Odfellows for the first time. It was amazing, and it most definitely will not be our last! The service was outstanding, from the gentleman behind the bar when we entered, to Charlotte who served us. The espresso martinis were delicious! Both of our meals were wonderful, especially the beef bourguignon. The atmosphere was perfect, and I loved the candle lit setting. We couldn't fault our time there and we can't wait to return!

I am sat here now well and truly stuffed 😃😃 I decided to have the special two courses for £20. Had the baby squid to start it was lovely X Now to the mains Wow Wow slow cooked pork belly with mash sugar snap peas red cabbage gravy and crackling. I felt really embarrassed I could not finish it all as I usually would of. Excellent customer service by all especially Charlotte and her colleague. I am on a visit from Bolton and wish this was a bit nearer. Will deffo visit here again if in the area. Please try it for yourself you will not be disappointed x

I had a BLT today, served where I wanted it - at the bar - and it was delicious. The bacon was superb, I couldn’t eat it fast enough! Definitely have another!

From the warm welcome to friendly goodbye... This visit was amazing. Charlotte and her equally helpful assistant who's name we didn't get... advised us on the menu choices when asked.. Were attentive but by no means overpowering. The food was just superb (the duck comes recommended) with amazing cocktails and a whopping selection of well chosen gins.... If only we were local... This would be one of our regulars...

I went for food and drinks with my friends. We were served by Amanda who was really lovely and always made sure we were okay for drinks. The food was great! I had duck and it was cooked perfectly! Also try the cocktails, they were fantastic! Everyone who worked there was really kind and polite. It was the first time eating there and I would definitely return!

Visited last night (24th June) to meet up with a group of 'old' work colleagues. The atmosphere was very pleasant, good social distancing, friendly and polite staff and to cap it off the beer (Shropshire Gold) and food was very good. Couldn't ask for more!

Has to be one of the best Sunday roasts we’ve ever had! The service was top notch too Danielle and Chelsea served us were so lovely and polite! Highly recommend! Definitely my go to place.

Odfellows has not failed to impress again. Tough times for hospitality industry during an pandemic. I see so many bars failing to follow the rules but odfellows has it spot on. One way system. Entrance from the car park at the rear of the building very easy to find if walking. Exit from the front. Hand sanitiser on entrance, good sineage telling you where to wait. The waitress seats you very quickly. Drinks order taken and time to read the menu.A gentle reminder given to those who forget to put their mask on when leaving table. Easily done and staff handle this very professionally. Christmas decorations look fab and food is lush.

I recently visited Odfellows with my family for brunch, upon arrival we were quickly seated after the waitress took our details and went over the new Covid19 rules, so we felt assured. I came in with my family for an evening meal. We've been a few times before. The food was delicious as always. I had chump of Lamb. I was told by our waitress that it takes a little longer to cook & they recommended a starter. I went with Calamari. We also had on the table.. Sirloin Steak, Seafood Pasta & their infamous Odburger. I think the staff are doing their best with all the new restrictions. I hope to return after Christmas with friends, when the rules are more relaxed. 10/10 on all the Christmas decorations.

I would like to start by saying im not from this area and I certainly wouldn't ever eat at your place now. I pulled up into the layby opposite and jumped out and there was an A board outside saying I must use the rear entrance. Well as I'm not from the area as previously said I wasn't planning to walk and find it. So I walked in the front door. There were 3 barmaids /waitresses standing behind the bar drinking and one said you came in the wrong entrance. I explained thst I knew this fact. I asked if they did food. The response was in a snooty way. That yes we did and tonight we are doing Tapas and we are full. So I said I won't be eating there then. I thought the young lady's attitude could have been a lot better. Maybe you should have a sign to come in the front and leave by the rear. Especially as you only have 1 front entrance where people walk by.

Had a great meal here on the Monday night the staff were brilliant looking after us with all the new systems in place, the food was absolutely fantastic and really good portions

We have visited Odfellows on several occasions during the month of August. We've eaten as a couple and also in parties of 10 and recently 14 to celebrate my moms retirement.We can honestly say the food has never disappointed us, fantastic steaks cooked to perfection, tasty belly pork with amazing cracking, rack of lamb that was blushing and tender, in fact there wasn't anything anyone didn't enjoy.. Drinks reasonable, service by the lovely friendly young ladies never failed to attend our needs. We are new to Shifnal and so happy we have found a place that offers such good quality food with a warm welcome.We will definitely be back very soon!!

Had a lovely dinner.Safe and well orginised. Looked after us the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was awesome I have a huge fish and chips. The batter was light crispy and golden. I was stuffed by the end. Prices are reasonable and the extra discount meant we bought an extra bottle of wine. I'd Highly reccomend it for food.

3 of us went for a meal tonight 24th august, and the service and welcome when we arrived could not have been better, my daughter has to have a walker and could not manage the steps to our table. No problem they took us through the conservatory and then had a small ramp should it be needed. service was good and we were not rushed to order. my husband has gluten free and they were happy to cater for his needs. the bread was delicious and he was offered gluten roll. we had delicious fish pie with salad and he had steak. all well cooked and presented. only my daughter and I had a pudding, mine vanilla cheese cake and hers sticky toffee pudding excellent. All the staff were most helpful, pleasant and efficient. prices were good and we will be returning in the near future. All covid safe with spacing and hand sanitiser on entry.

Enjoyed pub food for dinner here. Well managed system for seating and staff friendly and efficient. Food was decent pub grub enjoyed the terrine starter and whatever the other thing was i can't remember now but satisfied by the end!

A very normal placed in the chef done very well with a cheap salon steak the mill was very very acceptable and the toffee tart was very poor the table opposite me for the children's burger and chips with chips look frozen burgers even though the burger could look like it homemade salad look like it was warm and turned up if I look had the children's meal in from my children I would hav in thee turned it away as said my meal was very very good except for the desert not a very posh place but ok for family would I go back maybe for a second time would I recommend it no if the desert was good I would have given the chef a tip

We made a spontaneous decision to look for somewhere to eat out for dinner. We rang Odfellows and were told that despite food orders being closed at 2 we could book for 1.45 and still be seated and served. We unfortunately looked like we would be a little late and so rang ahead. We were dealt with kindly on the phone and greeted welcomingly once we arrived. The staff were very friendly, attentive and the atmosphere was great. Our food didn't take long to arrive and was delicious.I couldn't recommend this establishment more. Please give it a try if you haven't already!

Booked a table for 3. We were looked after very well by Beth & Charlotte. My husband was unsure what to have as a starter, however Charlotte recommended for him and he was very happy. Food was very good and my husband had a very good pint of Lemon Dream. Also my wine was very cold as it should be when served. Very much recommended. Covid measures were put in place and very well done.

We were here for my boyfriends birthday. We were seated straight away, drinks arrived promptly. The waiting staff were very attentive and friendly. I ordered the Andalusian chicken and it was yummy. The place was well equipped with hand sanitizers and spotlessly cleaned well prepared for the current circumstances. Reasonably priced and fabulous service would throughly recommend it. We went last Sunday as our first meal 'out' since lock-down. We chose Oddfellows because we knew that we would get great food and service - we wanted to be sure to have a good time for our first outing! We were not disappointed. The new arrangements were explained very clearly and they seemed to be enough to maintain safety without impacting on our enjoyment at all. The food was, as always, delicious and the service was cheerful and prompt. We might make it our weekly treat!

Our first visit after lockdown. Last minute decision so we hadn't booked. We arrived just as they opened and was greeted by a very happy young lady who explained the new covid measures very clearly. We were seated at our table and drinks arrived straight away. Considering we hadn't booked and had arrived just as the kitchen opened it only took 25 mins for freshly prepared food to arrive. We ordered a mixed platter to share and my partner had the iberian sandwich served with chunky chips. Plenty of food and cooked to perfection. Well done Oddies for keeping up the quality and friendly atmosphere even during these difficult times for bar owners.

I came in for Sunday lunch on my birthday. Me & my friends had a lovely time. The food was excellent, I highly recommend having the mixed meats. The staff were friendly & attentive. They also offer a Gin menu, with so many to choose from I was spoilt for choice. I will definitely be coming back in when I'm not driving to sample the menu some more!

I come here on a regular basis, for both food and drink. The service is always friendly and welcoming, especially since the current situation.I went for lunch yesterday and although quite busy when I arrived, staff were lovely and soon seated myself and a friend. We both had food and thoroughly enjoyed our time there, will be going back soon!

I've eaten in Odfellows many times and always had a lovely meal and great service. I would highly recommend this place for the atmosphere and delicious food.

Went here for lunch with my wife during her break. We were seated by the waiting staff who were pleasant and soon took our order for drinks and food. The drinks arrived but a full 30 minutes before the lunch time light bites arrived. (Top tip if you have an hour for lunch this is probably not the place for you). The waitress was apologetic and informed us the delay was because they were waiting for the fat fryer to warm up. Perhaps experience would have indicated to have had this done before customers started to order food. My wife’s food was good but with slightly undercooked chips. However l had the Iberian ciabatta which again was accompanied by slightly under cooked chips. Whilst eating the ciabatta l found two 2 inch pieces of plastic which ran through the sandwich. I informed the waiting staff who said that this was obviously the plastic from the chorizo. They were apologetic but this was not their fault. Did not really need telling that as it was within and around the chorizo and left an unpleasant taste in my mouth. Another top tip for the kitchen staff is unwrap the food before cooking!! I was offered an alternative but as it was coming out of the same kitchen l declined. My wife duly returned to work and l went home for lunch. Not a good experience.

Booked a table for a socially distanced get together with friends. Friendly staff serving good ale all done following the new guidelines. Felt safe and very happy 🍺.

Booked a table for 4th of July, looking forward for a drink and a meal after the end of lockdown for pubs. Any concerns about boozy chaos were soon dispelled, and the pub was calm and relaxed. Great service from front of house team led by Danni, and super food from Matt and the team in the kitchen. Super food as usual, and everything felt safe and controlled. Well done everyone, it’s different, but it’s still Oddies. Please keep stocking Erdinger!

Lovely friendly old pub/restaurant in the heart of Shifnal. Excellent food in classic surroundings, highly recommended

Decided to give it ago with the family for a sunday roast, waited over 30 minutes for service and 20 for food, the meat was stone cold and the veg was cold and soggy. I tried to complain but the staff member just took our plates and darted as soon as I opened my mouth. Would never eat there again, over priced cold slop.

I had dinner with my son Tim on Wednesday night. Two courses £12-00 goats cheese and avocado with salad and a seared tuna steak with fresh veg and dressing and a good piece of bread. Spot on in every respect. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Nice early evening meal on a quiet time. Good menu, friendly staff and nice environment. Recommended for a visit (especially during happy hour!)

Popped in for a meal and some drinks with friends. Great little restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly. Unfortunately the dish I wanted off the menu wasn't available but they had an adequate substitute which was lovely. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend and go again.

We called in on a quiet Monday lunchtime and enjoyed our meal. My wife had fish and chips which was very good and came with what appeared to be home made tartare sauce which was tasty but a bit thick. I chose the Odburger which came with skin on fries. The burger was of good quality and the brioche bun was a nice touch. There’s a good choice of beers but we felt the wine was a little on the pricey side.

Stopped for Saturday lunch, pleasant staff. Good choice of drinks on tap. We ate of the special board, both going for the game pie with hand cut chips, which was delicious. Pie was packed full of tender meat with a smokey flavour, chips were chunky with soft centre accompanied with peas and cabbage at a good price. Recommend

Stopped on a Saturday afternoon for a few drinks, found the staff friendly and the drinks selection good, the sofas were comfortable and the prices were very reasonable, enjoyable for a meeting point, would stop again if walking through Shifnal.

Having diverted from M54 on way home, we sought out Latimer’s Wine Bar in Shifnal but were unable to get a table and so visited Odfellows, across the road. It is very plain but the barman was very pleasant and helpful, the food was very tasty and the service good & the waitress welcoming & attentive.

It would appear that The Slaughtered Lamb have decided to out-source their award winning customer service skills from the Yorkshire Moors to the 'Odd Fellows Wine Bar' in Shifnal-  Just a dart freezing in mid-air is all that was missing from this masterclass in hospitality when enquiring for a table for one at 8:45. "Sorry the restaurant is now closed"- "But it says it open until 9 on the web site..?". "Yeah but we're fully booked", as we glance over to at least three empty tables in unison. "Er, yeah but.."Would you like me to get the manager..?" Safe in the knowledge that this level of rudeness was reserved for but a few novelty factor establishments, I felt my money was best spent else where. Fair to say I will definitely give it another crack the next time I feel like being treated as a vagrant wandering in off the street in soiled underwear.

Party of 4 friends visited for an early Dinner and we all had Lemon Sole. The best fish, sauce and veg ever tasted, we all commented on the food, drinks, service and prices being great. The staff are second to none.

Once again, odfellows proved to be a dependable restaurant provided really good value food with polite ,courteous staff.

Had dinner at Oddfellows Wine Bar on two occasions and found the staff very friendly and the food very well priced and of good quality. Booking is recommended as this is a popular venue.

We had a very pleasant experience here. Very good choice of good quality food and drinks backed up with excellent service. The prices are not bad either. My only criticisms are that their is not much room for those just wanting a drink, and the hard surfaces reflect and amplify the noise levels. The parking behind is convenient although not sure if it would be available on a busy day.

Called in on the off chance of a table on a busy Friday evening of Carnival weekend. Staff were very helpful, attentive and amusing. Great set menu offer available £10 fro two courses which we had. The fish was cooked perfectly and the turkey leek and mushroom pie was so tasty. Would recommend it to anybody.

We don’t eat out much, but Oddies do a 2 courses for £10 deal during the week, and it's usually great value for money.

As a Vegan it can seem like going out is a hassle, however at Odfellows they were more than happy to cater to my choices even reassuring me that they have a separate frier so that my side of chips would not be cooked in the same oils as meat! Fantastic attention to detail! They even have a gluten free menu! Staff are always friendly no matter how busy it is, and the negative reviews on here shock me as it is clearly not a reflection on what I have witnessed time and time again that I have been in. Some people like to moan though and not enough people compliment! I would book to avoid disappointment of missing out! Thank you again staff for your excellent service, and the chefs for being so accommodating!

Great place for a bite to eat. As for weekends you shoul book a table but we'll worth it. They have early menu till 8pm 3 courses for £13.

We ate here whilst visiting Shifnal and had a delicious meal, we all chose off the set menu that was a steal at £10.00 a head for 2 courses. Staff were friendly and helpful and had a good knowledge of the menu. we would recommend.

I have been to Odfellows numerous times for food and drinks, and it never disappoints. The food is all homemade and great value for money, and the staff are all lovely and very attentive. Would be my first choice restaurant to eat at in Shifnal!

I have been to Odfellows once or twice in the past just for drinks and the staff have always been a highly professional and lovely to be around always serving with a smile, before my journey home I sat down for lunch the food great it came quickly and it tasted great this was made even better by the price. I would highly recommend Odfellows for both food and drink.

Went into Odfellows last Thursday for lunch with a friend, fairly busy when we arrived at 1:30pm but it was fine because of the casual lunch service where we ordered at the bar. Lovely staff and food was great, definitely be back soon!

This place has something for everyone from the great pub burger to daily specials with a difference. Prices are according to what you order, they have cheaper options which is ample food and good quality. To the more expensive options of steaks cooked to perfection. Do not expect to be served fast food, this place prepares all their own meals and not microwaved. In the evening your meal comes with complimentary thick cut bread and butter, enough to keep you going till your starter arrives, usually within 15 mins. The staff here try very hard to make the Odfellows experience good for everyone. They are all friendly and take the time to have a chat and laugh with you if that's what you want or will leave you in peace if you're the type that doesn't like to be bothered.

The food has always been brilliant for us. The 2 for £10 offer is such brilliant value. They also have an excellent variety of Gins. I am slowly making my way through their new menu. I would highly recommend.

We were the only ones in there for Sunday Lunch having missed a booking at Latimers over the road. I timed the service, 45 minutes before order was taken, 22 minutes for starter to be served, which was very poor microwave quality, plates cleared 19 minutes after our starter was finished, 28 minutes before main course was served, cold & dry. Asked for the Manager who explained "that's how it is" like it or lump it attitude & quite abusive and aggressive, vowed never to dine there again. Should have read the negative reviews here first, it appears their attitude is that their right & the Customer is always wrong, very bad attitude, surprised they are still open. Must be passing trade, I cannot see anyone wanting such a bad experience twice.
