Hayley’s Kitchen at Hartlebury Castle in Wychavon

School canteens are better ..The most awful soulless cafe we have ever visited. Plastic tablecloths, dirty crockery, tasteless sandwiches and luke warm, watered down coffee. When asked if my son could have an alternative drink, he was given water in a plastic cup. The staff were rude and disinterested, one told us off for having sat at the wrong table ! The toilets were also dirty .

Don't waste your money Awful place, the cafe resembles a school canteen, with the floor having chipped garage paint, completely souless, school canteens are better than this. We had booked some weeks ago for afternoon tea for Mother's day.. very disappointed from rude staff to tasteless dry sandwiches and luke warm watered down coffee. The toilets were dirty with tissue all over the floor

We had the most beautiful afternoon tea with a friend after seeing their advert on Facebook. We were seated quickly & served with a pot of tea & offered refills. Afternoon Tea was fresh & tasty. The other meals we saw coming out looked equally as good. We shall return.

We received a voucher for a present for afternoon tea, we went on a Sunday afternoon and the service and afternoon tea was lovely, we had a variety of sandwiches, cake and scones and as much tea or coffee that we would like, the food was lovely and fresh and the best scones I have had, there was a problem with the voucher which was my fault for not sorting out and Hayley was very helpful and friendly and sorted the issue out for me. Thank you very much we had a lovely time and I wouldn't hesitate to book friends and family as a gift as would make a lovely present for them.

This is a lovely place to stop to eat and drink, I went as part of a cycling group and we were made very welcome. Plenty of choice for food and cakes at a good price. Service was quick and the atmosphere in the cafe was nice with plenty of indoor seating. Toilets were spotless and there was plenty of space for parking right outside the cafe. We will hopefully return many times in the future.

We had a very nice lunch at a good price. Ploughman’s was good quality plenty of it. Clean and tidy with pleasant staff. Will certainly come back.

Always pop in on a Saturday for our lunch, great staff, great food, the cakes are brilliant, we always have one to take away. See you soon. Mr Jacket & Mrs Toastie

One of my daughters has dietary requirements and we don't risk it with her and bring own sandwich. Told she couldn't eat it inside even though me and wife were going to order food and drinks. Sat in car instead and went for meal elsewhere. Santa and rest of trip though was brilliant.

Nothing is too much trouble here, the food is excellent, is of a very high standard - just love going here

This was our first visit , it was fab. The breakfast was made with quality fresh ingredients. The service was efficient and the staff were friendly and welcoming We are definitely going to return and have recommended it to our friends

Whether it be breakfast, elevenses, lunch (including Sunday Roast), afternoon tea or snack you can’t go wrong. The food is freshly prepared and cooked, the cakes and bakes are a must, The welcome is warm and friendly.
