The best restaurants serving British food in Mitton Wyre Forest West Midlands

We have been to the Rock numerous times but haven't eaten there for a while since the menu became very "chip heavy". I saw a post a few months ago with their new autumn menu that had some lovely options on there so we decided to go for a meal. Sadly when we were given the menu it had none of those items on it, just pizzas and a large variety of meals...with chips 😔 Such a shame, the food they offer is tasty enough but I'm just not wanting chips with everything- at this time of year I want something with mash and veg and there was nothing like that on the menu despite it being advertised only in October. The menu really needs more variety - a nice pie, maybe a fish dish that isn't in batter...the dessert menu only had three items on it too and I think they were all cold options. Hoping it's just a temporary blip and the lovely sounding menu will be back soon.

Had the large breakfast this morning. What fabulous food and a lovely setting. The food was hot,plenty of it and presented lovely. Will return again.

Came across this great place while camping in Stourport on Severn 12th of July 2024. Mimi’s has really kind, friendly and helpful staff who were really lovely to our dog who was very welcomed ❤️ Brilliant atmosphere with friendly people and the food was exceptional!! Great menu, the food was so fresh and tasty and we left very happy 😊

A warm welcome from the waiter as soon as we entered. All the staff were pleasant and the food was excellent. The best Indian we have had for a long time. Loved the combination options and would definitely recommend,

Never open don’t know why it’s still going , it’s not the same anymore since the lovely lady who did the cooking left , foods disgusting now and staff are rude !! Don’t bother

Beautifully clean and Tidy, good food and service is excellent, Tuna crunch sandwich was the size of a doorstop, my jacket potato was piping hot and the chilli con carne was lovely, we couldn’t fit any cakes in but they look Amazing and we will definitely be retuning. We think we have found a little gem!

Since it’s been taken over prices are extortionate and quality is rubbish. Last time I buy from there.£8.30 for a cod and not even a small scoop of chips like pat used to do

Had a brilliant afternoon tea delivery from gingers, cakes are home made and freshly baked, evrrything was spot on!!

A small cafe with only a few seats inside, the menu has the usual cafe fayre. I opted for a tuna/onion panini. It arrived nicely cooked, but it was tiny, half the size of a normal panini and dwarfed by the size of the toasted sandwich my wife had for the same cost. I picked wrong today!

Food here was very average with the chicken burger lacking taste and was rather chewy and dry. Waiting for the food was also rather slow

looked everywhere for a dog friendly pub that was cooking on a saturday, not many around. we went into the bridge and recieved a warm welcome, steak was fantastic and good service, lovely views and will be returning next week for more, thankyou for everything
