The best restaurants serving British food in Warwick West Midlands

Sat out in the garden with our two dogs. Ordered 2 pints of punk, the Cajun chicken burger and the 5 spice pork bites. Paper menu is disappointing but understood as changed ownership recently. Beer lovely, burger incredible, pork bites fatty (but great flavour!) Lovely pub! Staff are nice but reserved, could maybe be a bit chattier / friendlier but still very nice.

Me encanta este lugar como un lugar para beber y estar convenientemente colocado junto a mi lugar de trabajo como allí regularmente antes de comenzar mis turnos de noche. El servicio suele ser ejemplar y rápido. La comida es agradable para el precio (aparte de un problema que voy a llegar a) . Sin embargo, el incidente de anoche no puede ser ignorado. Pedí mi curry habitual de los jueves y una vez más la samosa estaba fría/congelada por dentro así que le dije a la cocina a través de su agujero de servicio que estaba congelada como ha sido muchas veces en el pasado, ¿se puede reemplazar? El barman (que fue amable durante todo el tiempo tratando de ayudar) sacó uno nuevo para mí que estaba tan cremado que tuve que verlo para abrirlo. Como pueden imaginar, no me sentí muy complacido y pedí una explicación. El pobre barman inocente regresó y dijo: "Lo siento señor, y estaremos hablando con el chef, parece que esto fue una especie de final. ¿Puedo traerte uno nuevo? " Como se pueden imaginar siendo objeto de una "broma" que se puede gastar en un colega o amigo en lugar de un cliente de pago me insultaron diciendo "están tomando el p*ss" y exigí un reembolso. Tengo £ 1. 76 de vuelta para la gran actualización de curry. No es el mejor comienzo para un turno de noche de 10 horas. Es una lástima que voy a tener que reconsiderar si comer / beber allí de nuevo dado su conveniencia, pero puede tomar un tiempo para superar esto.

I will start by saying that do not normally eat in the pubs attached to premier inns, the food is nearly always dry and horrible but tonight, well, tonight, it was completely different. Firstly the staff on the floor all very pleasant and helpful , well done to you all. Secondly, to the kitchen staff. The food was perfectly cooked and presented. I can say it was the best mixed grill I have ever had In a pub attached to a hotel. Dan, Craig and Tom, really well done lads. You did the chain proud this evening. I had plans for visiting Asian restaurants this week but you will probably see me again in Thyme before Friday. Well done to all the staff. Ps, the wins were also great. Thanks for a great meal.

Whenever we are walking in Lapworth we always seek out this canalside gem, The staff are always super friendly and welcoming to ourselves and our dog, Not stuffy or too formal just good old England hospitality, They often host special events and have a good range of choice on their menus. We came by with our son and daughter in law and had a few bites between us, The chicken wings, camembert and fish were all excellent, well cooked not too greasy and delicious, I would have liked a dip like a cranberry sauce for the camembert but that was only my preference and it was hungrily enjoyed before we could think to ask :) The hostess cleared away the clutter and we had some more drinks in the sunny canalside garden, staff go above and beyond to make you feel satisfied, totally relaxed and spacious setting. Be back soon.

Very nice restaurant but I get green Shrimps! I ask staff about it but no answer! For me first and last visit.

One of my favorite Costa locations in the UK. The service and food were both very satisfying and enjoyable. The ambience is clean and pleasant, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a coffee in Kenilworth.

Food is really good and a good price, nice old building in line with what I expected from Warwick itself as an area. The staff were so good as I have fussy children and they bent over backwards to accomodate them

Walking in to the cafe, it appears to be quite sparse. I arrived at around 9:30am and the place was 1/3 full of people. Lots of hard furnishings so I don’t know how noisy this place could get when full - but was completely fine with the level of chatter I experienced in here. I ordered a flat white and warm banana bread. I was served by a very welcoming young lady at the till, who promptly brought my order to me when I sat down. The banana cake and coffee were both tasty and just what I needed. I feel the place could do with a bit of TLC and attention to detail. Ie. The way menus and leaflets are left on tables. The way high chairs are stacked etc. it isn’t visually and aesthetically pleasing. Which is ok for some, but if you’re after a cosy warm relaxing cafe - this isn’t quite it. But it could be.

Great service. The staff are always super nice and helpful. Food is great for the price too. Kids eat free 🙏🏻

Thank you to Andrew and team who made day 2 of our wedding so special. Clear and friendly communication throughout to hold the event we wanted - all our friends and family and little ones (and pups) loved! Lovely food and beautiful private setting with Little Ox bar. Would recommend for your special events!

Visited with my Aunty she wanted a toasted sandwich, I wanted pancakes from the breakfast menu, she was told she would have to wait for 10 mins as they were serving breakfast, I went to order and was told breakfast ordering had finished, I was a bit put out as about 5 mins before 4 men came in and had ordered breakfast, we both felt me and my Aunty that the staff seamed like they didn't want to be there, they seamed rushed off there feet and took ages to serve people there was hardly anyone in there, my Aunty and me both agreed we would nt like yo see the staff managing when the cafe was busy, there is hardly anything for adults to do at Hatton craft center it used to be a real treat to go up there and look around the shops but now it's dead when we visited there was only the garden centre and Christmas shop open, the highlight of the visit would have been going to the cafe but even that's disappointing and expensive
