The best restaurants serving British food in Warwick West Midlands

The windmill is a great space for family time. the Menu covers all my fussy eaters and keeps us full. Michelle and her team were attentive and friendly. A big bonus of the windmill is the large garden and play area which you do not get in other pubs/ restaurants. The garden is beautifully maintained and play area is kept clean and safe. Couldn’t recommend the windmill enough.

I’m sure the food was delicious (we usually pop in for a meal every time we visit Leamington Spa) but today at 1.30 pm when we arrived the music was quite loud. Politely asked if the music could be turned down but was told that the music needed to be on - or off - and we certainly weren’t given the option of having it turned off. We left and went to a lovely cafe opposite which was blissfully peaceful.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here with my Partner & toddler.. great service, great food and they went the extra mile for my toddlers meal which i really appreciated!

Charming village pub. It is named after a trade union leader who lived in the village.

I had a delivery via UberEats this weekend. It was such a lovely meal!! My bacon and brie pizza, with some mushrooms added, was simply divine, and the chips were very tasty. I can’t comment on the restaurant itself as I’ve never been in, but I’m sure I will be at some point.

Lovely friendly pub in Warwick. Will definitely be back when the new owners finalise their menu, and likely before for the clean pint of Everard's.

Delightful gem, I'd call this place. Quiet, (No musac!), most friendly, & the bacon/egg & maple syrup waffle was truly gorgeous!!

interesting one this , got shouted at and told to never come back for leaving the door to the garden open for a couple of minutes as the heating was on full blast, and we needed a little bit of fresh air. The aggressive owner stormed over and demanded we leave as ‘ we don’t spend any money there’ and complained that he was paying the bills. We had bought two drinks and were using the paid pool table, as we had been doing for months beforehand. The owner then squared up and shouted at my 15 year old brother and continued to throw his toys out the pram. Completely embarrassing behaviour from a man of his age, taking his financial insecurities out on a group of boys, to add , in a completely empty pub. A shame to react so badly to a matter so trivial. This could’ve been avoided had the owner said something like ‘ mind if you keep the door closed’ instead of immediately losing his cool. Poor management , poor temperament, miserable staff in this place. An ironic poor treatment of your customers, being as there aren’t many.
