Visited as a regular group of pub goers. As needing to avoid gluten - a trip to the pub is often a challenge. Some, do cater for this in beer selection as GF becomes more available but alas o my option here was cider - which is not beer. I also got a feeling that selection of non GF real ales was down too since last visit a few years ago...

While waiting for our train popped into this pub and really enjoyed a brilliant pint and chat with one of the locals. I would recommend you visit this pub,would give 6 stars if I could.

Fantastic local pub with a brilliant selection of local and craft beers. The staff are always friendly, and the pork pies are definitely a must (with stilton). Great beer garden which is a sun trap and fanstaic in the summer. Regular events such as cheese boards, comedy nights and bands. Best pub in Warwick a must visit for any visiting or anyone that lives locally and hasn't been before.

Visited on the off chance whilst passing though. Good range of drinks selections and very friendly staff. Looking forward to returning soon.

The beer I had wasn't that good in all fairness ,first and last time I go in there.

Could you update your opening times. There is nothing anywhere. Online. You are missing out on passing trade. People travel up and down on the only Locomotive hauled trains in the south of England. Chiltern trains. We all drink Real ale.

Good beer and friendly service - nice pint of Slaughterhouse Saddleback but disappointed that they had run out of Slaughterhouse Glorious!

Proper real ale haven - popped in while waiting for a train so only had a chance to sample two of the beers; both were well kept and well priced. Could easily have spent an entire evening here had time permitted!

Popped in to collect brew ingredients and stopped for a pint. Lovely well cared for beers and good prices. £4.00 a pint! Way better than the £5.70 at my local. Enjoyed the Slaughterhouse offerings. Cheers

Great local pub away from the town centre but not far from the train station. Huge selection of real ales, some brewed on site where the workings can be seen. Great little beer garden for the summer and a large function room which include use for a comedy club night once every other month. Cosy place, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff.

Absolutely lovely, very friendly staff and patrons with very reasonable prices. A huge selection of craft beers and very good prices and the pork pie and scotch eggs are to die for. Highly recommended

Real old fashioned pub. Micro brewery on site. Only serves snacks, no hot meal menu. Good outdoor area. There is also a bowling alley on site.

Great place, service and drinks

Popped in to eat something with my Italian friend,we got a table outside in the back garden,which was welcoming and lovely feel to be,after being advised they only serve just a small amount of food and happy to let us know for a different location not far away! Welcoming and extremely friendly with fury quadrupiedie’s!

This has been a fantastic pub for years, plenty fresh local ales which are constantly rotating, nice food, nice people, good events. Highly recommended.

Came today with family, only had a couple of drinks as I was visiting my mother in hospital we came here as its just down the road from the hospital and thought it would be nice to get together at the pub instead of at hospital and it certainly was! The bar staff were friendly and polite, it was quiet inside but we sat outside due to the hot weather! It's a lovely small garden area with plants and a few benches, very quiet and peaceful. Lovely little pub! Would recommend if you want a chilled atmosphere aleo when in the area I'll be back to try the food 😋

Mate froms work 50th birthday party. Staff very friendly and the pub was very clean. Outside seating was very good and "cosy".

I visited the Wild Boar a couple times during my recent stay in Warwick. The locally made draught stout is one of the best beers I've ever had. It's going to be very difficult drinking other stouts having had this one! I'd also recommend the pork pies to enjoy with a beer. The barman is very welcoming and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Cracking real ale pub, wish it was my local! Lots of interesting handpulls with great variety, friendly owners who make you feel at home. If you're in Warwick and you like real ale then you must visit!

Lovely pretty pub with friendly staff who were very eager to make sure we were happy. Beer was kept well. We used the large, pleasant and comfortable function room round the back for a club social for 40 people, and the pub was able to provide us all with fish and chips. They had a full size skittle alley set up which was also great fun. Parking is 2 hours or permit, but a local told me that the hospital staff car park 10 minutes walk away is free after 6pm. Would definitely recommend a visit, especially if you happen to be visiting Warwick anyway.

Great staff and management. Real ale pub. 10 ales 5 are slaughter house and 5 are guests. They have recently made there own craft beer called Taste Of Freedom. Which is a 6.5%. They have there own micro brewery. Friendly atmosphere. Also Very clean.

Wonderful brewpub that has adapted to keep us Covid safe. Attentive Landlady ensures you never " run dry" and a really great range of beers has been maintained despite the challenges offered by reduced brewing by the main "guest" suppliers.

A truly great pub - indeed one of the best I’ve been in for a while. We arrived, directed by the CAMRA good beer guide, hoping for a pint and a spot of lunch. Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions they aren’t doing food but the landlord mentioned that he was happy for us to bring food in. We had a round of well kept, interesting and varied beers before abandoning any plans for eating somewhere else and one of us popping along to the local Sainsbury’s for some sandwiches. We had a great few hours enjoying good beer, very friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere despite the current restrictions. Very dog friendly. We will definitely be back when we pass this way again.

I was looking forward to having a few drinks in this pub on Saturday night! I came in about 9.30pm after being up the town! Much to my surprise the bar staff was drinking behind the bar, a lady kept going behind the bar but she had had one too many and was very loud and all over her boyfriend at the end of the bar! Music was far too loud! Last orders was called but the friends of the bar staff were allowed to stay for a lock in! I will not be going here again! Need to sort out the staffs drinking Habits!!

Visited on a wednesday afternoon as arrived early to catch a train. Lovely staff and chilled atmosphere. Definitely recommend for a quiet drink with friends/ family. Missed 2 trains as enjoyed the place so much. Will definitely visit again

We were on a hospital run but had a dog with us so we needed to take turns on who looked after it. Very close to both the hospital and train station, lovely place, great friendly staff who really looked after us and our dog, who got spoilt with treats and attention :) If we lived closer we would definitely make it our local. Thanks for your hospitality!

Excellent pub with its own brew ales and quality locally sourced food. Friendly staff and chatty locals too. It’s a bit out of the way and not in the centre of town but definitely worth the walk.

We had booked the function room for a group event. The food arrived almost two hours after the booking time - by which point we were all starving. There was not enough food. I was left with a scrap of leftover curry. Several people ended up filling up on plain white rice. The quality of the food for very poor for the price. Similar quality to a shop bought cheap microwave meal - except we had paid restaurant prices! For drinks only the pub is fine. I had a very nice blueberry porter.

The micro brewery and skittles alley was worth the trip from Glasgow. I’d probably come again, but Reg’s teeth were a bit sharp. Beer had a hint of Brett. Straight up balling in Warwick.

Super beer selection and lovely food.

We were glad to see a return of the food after a time without much of a menu, but didn't know if it was staff shortage or just disorganised, but the reason for the 3 * was because of that. Food was brought out before cutlery. Two orders were partly incorrect. And I'd wished I had ordered one bowl of chips as they could easily have done two of us! We went down to try a new beer, but although it was on the bar weren't serving it till 4.00 and we were driving! Do couldn't stay too long! L.

Only found this places because we had 50 minutes to spare before our train. Friendly pub, plenty of tables to spare on a Mon evening, friendly barman, great location just a few mins away from the station.
