The best restaurants serving British food in Ironbridge Gorge Telford and Wrekin West Midlands

We visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner there was six of us and we all ordered different things the food was lovely we also had cocktails tge porn star martinis were fantastic it's very busy and has great service and ambience

Lovely friendly staff very clean soon as some one left their table it was promptly cleared away and cleaned and around the floor area the home made coffee and walnut cake was the best in Ironbridge and a generous slice for the money I will definitely be going back

We turned up to this already busy cafe as a party of 12 and a dog and were welcomed in by the staff with tables being moved and extra chairs brought in. The service was quick and good natured and the drinks and food excellent.....just sorry we didn't have room for the delicious looking cakes. Thank you so much.

So an amazing Sunday lunch , beef so good and Yorkshire sublime, but was super nice the great service from the very young waitresses they had confidence and great customer service skills and really genuine really made a difference.

We want to thank the wonderful Jackie for her kindness on making us marvellous fresh cups of tea to go an hour before official opening of the tea rooms as we had arrived early by car from the Belfast/Liverpool ferry en route to a wedding in Cornwall and were in desperate need of a refreshing brew

Just stayed here for a few nights, great location to explore, lovely pub and staff, landlord was very friendly and couldn’t do enough, food was outstanding and flat was clean, welcoming and had everything we could want, would highly recommend

Just completed a two night stay at the lovely White Hart Inn. I ate one lunch, two breakfasts and two dinners. Staff were friendly and welcoming and all of the meals were delicious. I highly recommend the accommodation and restaurant at the White Hart Inn. The hotel is very convenient on the river front Wharfage. A few minutes short walk from the Ironbridge and local shops. I stayed in a deluxe double room which was quite charming. It warm, clean with a very comfortable bed. Just what I was hoping for. And as a bonus, there was a view of the river Severn out of both windows

had a takeaway sunday lunch,staff friendly,but food has gone back to packet, homemade yorkies spot on, but realy packet mash, packet gravy, frozen broc/cauli.deep fried roastie. gravy costs pennies to make. i gave a extra star for week day food

Went for Sunday Lunch and I ordered turkey and my partner ordered beef. It came out red hot and vegetables served separately cauliflower cheese was the best. Amazing food definitely will go again 😋

So, this is a counteractive review submitted to neutralise the last 1-star review below this recent submission. I am a local resident and a frequent visitor to the establishment that was reviewed by the last person, I have to wonder if they were reviewing the correct public house. I see you mention large dictionary words like disenfranchised, indolent, it must have taken a while to look those up, I see from the reviewers past reviews 6 contributions, 3 cities etc all the reviews are a 1-star, so clearly since 2016 joining Trust Pilot nothing good to say at all about anyone or anything. Firstly, as a local user of the Half Moon, I deem it appalling/unprofessional for any person to make such assumptions regarding laziness towards staff, I am sure you are completely uneducated in the fact that most of the staff here work long shifts tending to some ungrateful customers whom love to complain over trivial things. This is a local village public house set on the river bank in Jackfield, I can only assume you thought you were in some 5-star Michelin establishment, Here are some fitting words that spring to mind, cynical, dispraise, misrepresentation. I was sat in this public house when you arrived and knew in an instant you would be impossible to please when you requested the music to be turned down, (the music is set to a low volume all the time). So here is my opinion given your negative attitude/reviews, just stay in Lichfield, this way you would not distribute undeserving ratings to hard working businesses.
