We took our French friends to have a English breakfast and they were amazed at the wonderful food and service we received a great big thank you to all of the staff

Very generous, well cooked and reasonably priced breakfast, with extra efforts taken to ensure the GF option was cooked separately. For this reason, it took a bit longer to serve, but was worth the wait.

Their breakfasts have never failed us. Always our go to place when eating and taking friends out. Everything cooked fresh to order, great portion sizes and proper thick bread! Staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend and already looking forward to going again.

Went for breakfast and it was great. We didn’t book but they still found a place for us (will book next time) The large breakfast was fantastic and I don’t think I needed to eat the rest of the day it filled me that much. Bread was nice and thick on the sarnies too. Staff were great and we even took half of my sons sandwich with us and they gave us a little takeout box. Will be going back and would recommend to any one.

Had a fabulous freshly cooked big breakfast in a lovely little family run pub. Staff are super friendly, helpful and chatty, so I happily visit here on my own too. The place is clean and tidy and i feel safe visiting. Nothing is too much trouble for the fantastic ladies at The Brewery. I have visited also with a friend for their newly formed independent Veterans Breakfast Club and was made to feel very welcome. I recommend this place to everyone. Its a hidden gem and worth the drive. All the meals (breakfast, lunch or evening) are very reasonably priced and the portions are huge, you never go home hungry.

Breakfast is always great. Lunches and evening meals too. Highly recommend the regular breakfast for a fiver. Lunch I always have cheeseburger as i love the melty cheese. Though the Ham, Egg, Chips and salad is a bargain at under £6 for a huge plateful. Great place for families, they warm bottles and food and have baby changing facilities too. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff who are always friendly and chatty.

Always come here every weekend with family for breakfast, all meals are always cooked fresh to order and you can tell. Staff are friendly, polite and attentive. Excellent value. Plenty of choice and the lunch menu is excellent too, we always have the lasagne, ham and curry at lunchtime. This place is highly recommended to all.

Absolutely superb trip to a place I have frequented since I was 18 for my own son's 18th birthday family meal. Food was plentiful, freshly cooked to order and everyone was impressed with what they ordered. The service as ever is impeccable, warm and friendly and 5 star. Great value for money for drinks and food. Children loved their shakes and commented on how nice a pub it was. My one niece was full of praise for the pub. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon. The Brewery is still as an amazing place, with great food and five star service as when I was a young lass. Well done to all the team.

This hidden gem is bloody brilliant! Amazing food, friendly staff, very special place to me as my grandad used to take me here when I was younger and I still come here today! I've been coming here with for a few years now since moving to Telford continuing my partners family traditions visiting this little gem of a pub.On every occasion were made to feel welcome by Fiona and the team, the food is hearty with generous portion sizes at affordable prices. It may not be the best ingredients you will see but what you get for the money is amazing. I always have the smaller portions which are still massive. My only gripe is can the smaller portions come on a normal sized plate? There is too much food for the smaller plate! Recommend the scampi!If you want traditional, good and very reasonable pub grub this is the place!Very organised too for Covid!

Been for lunch at this lovely place well worth a visit, lovely food, generous portions , lovely staff , beautiful view of river in garden , if you want to sit inside , advised to book table, popular place.

Lovely spot near a hump backed bridge. Great riverside walks. Regular pub grub (as it used to be called) and plenty of it. The portions are truly massive. It’s a very busy place, or at least it was on the day we stopped there. Fast service though. The food was well cooked (although of the standard catering variety - nothing wrong with that!) Very reasonably priced, lovely staff who made us welcome. There’s a large car park opposite. The veggie options looked very good too. Extra: We visited back in February before lockdown but I forgot to click the ‘done’ button on the review!

Called in at the Brewery for a light meal and a pint. Superb pint, above special Ham, chips and salad. Cant be beaten aynwhere local.

Took my mother here last night (28/12/19) for her birthday and we’d never been to The Brewery before... from the moment we entered the pub we were met with a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere and smiles all round behind the bar. We hadn’t booked but we’re seated straight away and given our menus for ordering... drinks were VERY reasonably priced as well. Ordered our food and the service was so quick and oh my word the portion sizes were out of this world! Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Would 10000% come here again. Had a breakfast here Friday 20th Dec usually a good breakfast but not this time, too many tomatoes, the breakfast looked like a soup with all the juice! Took it back with a bit of a moan and was given a £5 voucher will probably come back just hope it is better, I think sometimes less is better.

We came here with friends from work in our lunch time and staff were friendly and helpful the portions were very generous. The food was fresh and delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Breakfast at the brewery is highly recommended. Large portions and excellent produce, fried eggs done to perfection.

Says it is dog friendly but can't take your dog into the pub only into beer garden ( for which they unlock a side gate to let you in and you have to ask when you want to be let out.( hope there isn't a fire ) !

I'd read lots of great reviews so thought we would try while in the area. We sat on the terrace and had lovely views of the river. Unfortunately the smokers area is out here so the smoke does waft over a bit. We didn't have long to wait at all for our food. I'd ordered gammon and chips (£9.25 if I remember right) and the chips portion was massive - too big really. They covered the whole plate and I could not even see the gammon or egg. I had to put some chips on the napkin so that I could get to the gammon. It was tasty, but more like a thick bacon, I could only manage half the chips. My other half had fish and chips (£7.50 I think) but it was like the processed ones you get from the supermarket in a pre-formed triangle shape, so was very disappointing.

Very nice braekfast this morning , we have been meaning to come for some time. Clean uncluttererd eating area . service polite and profesioal. We had a Med breakfast each. With tasty sausage and wonderful lean bacon . i oped for the beans ,toast Viniie had tomatoes. . Definatly worth another visit . i even gave The Brewery a mention to the young lady on the till at Morrisons Lawley , she was impressed.

Great food, great service and great value. It’s a lovely location, and one of the best breakfasts available locally. Great to sit outside, overlooking the river Seven.

We sat on the patio overlooking the river. We had the biggest ploughman's lunch ever .... grated cheese, a roll and butter, pickle, 4 pickled onions each, a fresh salad of lettuce, cucumber and tomato, loads of pickled beetroot. A plate of chips arrived on a side plate. We thought it was for us to share .... but then another arrived. The prices are so reasonable and there is a good choice. The staff are lovely too. Pop in after a visit to the Gorge museums.

We visit the Brewery regularly for breakfast and have had various other meals there. The Food is excellent everywhere is spotless the staff are very friendly and it’s a great atmosphere it’s the best cooked breakfasts in Shropshire and lunch time meals are equally as good. Go here if you want exceedingly good food for very little money and the servings are hugh. Can't recommend it enough. The only problem is it doesn't stay open very long in the evenings so get there early. Well worth the trip.

We called for lunch and ordered the special of Quiche, Chips and Salad garnish for the very reasonable price of £4, the chips were plentiful and the salad fresh but the Quiche was bland with an uncooked pastry base. The staff were pleasant and she said if we had brought it to her attention she would have changed the meal. It's also sad because it's called The Brewery but there was no traditional real ale on sale.

Lunch was excellent, priced very reasonable with friendly and considerate staff. Will definitely re-visit.

We went the brewery in as we were told is was very good food and locally sourced ok I don't expect local fish but I don't want frozen fish and chips it was hot but I think it was from the local Asda it was cheap but I would rather pay a little more and get fresh cooked fish and chips

My wife and I are staying in Coalport this week and we were a bit disappointed that the coffee shop was no longer in the village. We wanted somewhere to call by and have breakfast this morning, my wife surfed the net and found that the Brewery Inn was open for a full English.

We visit The Brewery on a regular basis and it’s always amazing. The food is always spot on and the staff are always so polite and welcoming.

Just got back after eating lunch here with my sister in law. Beautifully cooked and hot food. Huge portions and a great choice. Too full for a dessert. The staff are warm, welcoming and very friendly.

We have been coming to The Brewery for over 30 years and this pub never fails to satisfy. We are now pensioners and we first came with our children. This is still a great family pub and we visit fairly regularly now on our own or with our grandchildren. If you want a large, well cooked meal at a reasonable price then this is the place. The staff are always friendly and there is always a nice ambience

Visits here quite often always have my fave scampi and chips we tried breakfast a couple of weeks ago it’s was lovely...and huge! Also they have tie rings for horses on the car park which is great for us in the summer to have a ride down and jump off and have a nice beverage in the sun before the ride back! I took my family for lunch yesterday and what a great time they had. We were 6 adults and 2 small children, we were welcomed and ordered food. Well the food came and the portions were massive! We all enjoyed good pub grub and managed to eat most of it. The staff were lovely and didn`t mind the children (who were quite good ), they were helpful and cheerful. The food is excellent value for money and I recommend the pub to everyone. We will certainly be coming back!!

We popped along with friends for our breakfast as usually an excellent cooked fresh to order Breakfast I rate them to be the best cooked breakfasts in Shropshire for great value for your money with excellent service, family oriented very friendly and helpful staff. They cater for your needs with Gluten Free food. We have our AF and Veterans Breakfast Club meeting every month and whether they are cooking for 4 people or 64 people the service is the best around and they do so much in helping various local events. So a big thank you to both Fiona’s and your fantastic staff. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A fantastic place to visit. The team are helpful and the food is best in Telford. Fiona and her team are always so welcoming towards our veterans who come Once a Month for a breakfast and to meet up with other veterans. Nothing is ever to much trouble for the team. If you want a plate full of wholesome food at a very reasonable price, polite and attentive staff, clean, fresh but basic decor, this could be the place for you. Much cheaper than is near neighbours, The Brewery Inn provides and an honest but no frills service which took me back to what was normal in the 80s (except no smoke now of course).

Excellent pub, great staff and a really friendly environment. Eaten here numerous times, food is always good honest home cooked food. Excellent value for money and generous portion sizes. Looking forward to going back again already.

Visited with my family was told about the toys and colouring for children to do. Friendly staff, clean and tidy traditional pub. Made to feel welcome. We visited with my family including 3 young children and received a lovely warm welcome. Staff were attentive, efficient and friendly even though it was very busy. Food was hot, tasty, fresh and of good quality. It was nice to see all staff wearing matching uniforms, hairnets and hats. It was also good to see that they don't have hot holding or heat lamps and every meal was cooked fresh to order. The place is very clean and tidy with 5 stars for food hygiene. There is a very relaxed atmosphere with a big emphasis on family. Though there were many solo diners who were happy enough on their own as staff made them feel so welcome. Kids are well catered for with many menu and drink choices. There is also colouring and toys provided. You won't find a nicer family pub than this.

I organised a breakfast for our running club for the Sunday before Christmas, there were 20+ of us, when we arrived at the Brewery it was very busy. The pub was very nicely decorated and there was a lovely Xmas atmosphere. We were told upon arrival there would be quite a wait for food as everything is cooked fresh, we said we didn't mind because it gave us all chance to have a chat and a catch up. The girl serving behind the bar took our orders efficently and made sure we all had a hot drink while we waited. The food was not a disappointment as usual lots of it and very appetising and piping hot. Thank you Fiona and your team for making us most welcome not just today but throughout the year.

There was our club social so there was 20+ of us and they had been told and tables where reserved so we would have our run then a breakfast after it was busy but one person on the bar talking orders and making drinks was a bit slow then over an hour wait for a bacon sausage sandwich just a bit slow they knew we was coming just wish they could have been more prepared

Visited today with my wife and grand daughter. Absolutely wonderful Sunday roast meals which were enjoyed by all three of us. And those two ladies are hard to please!

It seems petulant to moan about the quality of food at this pub. That's not what it is about. If you want a plate piled high with food straight out the fryer at a very reasonable price, then you are in luck.

Came here friday with husband and son...chose our food came out was beautiful huge portions and we were stuffed after...didnt have a pudding as was too full...but my son had a cake that was money donated to charity to take home to eat after x very enjoyable xx

Went here as a family of 4 and wow great value and plenty on your plate. No one should leave the brewery hungry! Pleasant staff in a nice clean environment. Lovely to see that they do so much for great charities.

Amazing value for money pub with a friendly atmosphere:) the food arrived quickly despite how busy it was, we had mountains of chips and you could tell the food was cooked fresh to order ! Friendly staff and great service over looking the river Severn. Extensive menu and good value, however, the portions are just far too big. There is a small portion menu and I’d highly recommend you order (including adults) from this. Every meal was piled high of chips, to much to the point you couldn’t eat without food falling off the plate. Just far too much waste and overfaced. They could easily put much less on the plate, charge the same and save on money and waste. Typical pub grub.

stayed in the cottage which belongs to Fiona the landlady of the brewery we went fishing on the river severn behind the pub which the landlady will sell you day tickets for its a great stretch plenty of fish an the barbel go to almost 10lb the customer service you are given in the pub by all the staff is 5xxxxx

Great portions at great prices. Can get busy. All basic food but be amazed at the fantastic portions. The prices are so much cheaper than other pubs here, so is great value for money. Staff are polite and prompt with the food flowing fast out of the kitchens. Had a crackin smooth bitter here too from the Benskins Brewery. Defo go for the kids portions unless you are starving, and don’t worry you won’t be embarrassed. My fav pub after trying out the Shake and the Moon.

Popular pub in Coalbrookdale, Well positioned and quirky. The food is fine but lacks imagination but its very reasonable, The salad I had with my fish was fresh and crisp. I like this pub. Its more down to earth than most Coalbrookdale pubs.
