Nice and affordable place to hangout

Dated, cheap quality drinks, toilets packed with a gang making access awkward and making other guests nervous. Overall not a place I would recommend.

"Manager" & staff attitudes are beyond appaling. Food, also appaling. Don't complain - you will be met with customer service bereft attitude and absolutely no genuine apology. While complaining about the rock hard microwaved chicken burger, that could have acted as a test cricket ball, I was told it is "microwaved...and??"... because the world is filled with advice on how you should most definitely microwave a chicken bresst for the best burger and then charge people for the privilege of such an amazing burger! Also, while complaining, pointlessly, heard another member of staff talking about how someone had dropped 6 needles in the pub. Disgusting, unsafe, embaressment to the brand. Should be shut down ASAP.

They have some nice guest ales on here and food is reasonably priced to

There was shit all over the floor, staff members using slurs in the staff area, terrible.

Food is your standardised Wetherspoons food, always comes out hot, never under or overcooked, an average wait of 10-15 minutes for food. Easy to order on the app or at the bar. Plenty of bargains to be had on each day of the week. The toilets are on the same floor and not hard to locate, so not quite your usual 5 mile trek to the loo. This pub caters for all tastes and used to be the starting point for most bar crawls before big nights out but as the closest bars are now at Southwater across the road/via town centre, it leaves Wetherspoons to deal with it's usual suspects.... Friends catching up for unlimited hot drinks, older gents who like the company of a few beers alone or with an old drinking pal, family gatherings for a cheeky cheap meal, etc. Definitely not as fancy as what is on offer at Southwater, so it's a no go for major celebrations or first dates. It's relatively quiet, the TVs are on constantly and there are a few fruit machines dotted around. There is a raised eating area, accessible by a ramp, an outdoor dining area split between smoking and non smoking areas.

Hubby + i went in for breakfast. It was very easy to order on the app , the breakfasts came out really quick + were delicious.the only downside was there was a guy working there hammering + banging

You know I love a vibrant English pub especially on an early Sunday morning. The raucous clink of plates and the energetic conversations. Cheap and cheerful. The atmosphere still clings to an age of cigarette smoke and the carnival thrills of the one armed bandits beckon the wishful thinkers. With an extensive menu that takes 2 coffees to work through the choice is inevitably a try-hard celebration to the working mans appetite. The breakfasts just like mum used to make and a relief to the sadistic economic depression. Wonderfully cheap, delightfully packed, deliciously prepared, although at times may have lingered a little too long under the heat lamps. A must for the kids is the succulent small fish and chips which I are well worth pilfering when a suitable distraction falls in place. The all you can drink tea and coffee encourages sentimental conversations of a time when politically correct was nothing more than a punchline. I write this in the hope that this precious sanctuary to a by-gone age is left alone and as well-preserved as the generous eagerness of the youthful service.

Nicely appointed interior, there's an outdoor no-smoking area. Pity the staff (and parents!)allow children to run around noisily, particularly as there are many customers and staff moving around with drinks and plates of hot food.

Had large breakfast and it was served on a cold plate so baked beans went cold, eggs went cold bacon went cold the only thing that stayed hot was the sausage ,one person on our table of 4 whom received his breakfast 1st complained about eggs being cold and had them replaced so you'd have thought the lesson could have been learnt but no

Had two meals here now since working in Telford. Both breakfasts. Now I gave it the benefit of the doubt 1st time around. As it was busy. Today I had poached eggs on toast and mushrooms. And it was stone cold. Now how does eggs on toast come out cold. Mushrooms was watery from going cold. Service none existent. No how was your food. Everything OK with your food Client be bothered won't be eating here again

Typical spoons cheap cheerful and great for people watching. My local been there countless times never been disappointed

This is one of the best Wetherspoons that I have been to, I wasn't expecting much but could not fault the food, drink or service. We ordered a pizza and fish and chips, both were excellent quality and cooked perfectly. If only all Wetherspoons were this standard. We also went on a Saturday night, the pub was really busy but the service was fast and efficient. Highly recommended.

£22 meals for me and my wife turned into £82 for 2 meals because I got a parking fine, even though I paid for it with coins at the machine. A shame that Telford town council let this scam company operate over here. Avoid this car park at all costs otherwise it will cost you big time whether you pay or not.

Typical Wetherspoons pub, big, ok bar food, nothing special.

We had a lady serve us (red hair, tattoos) and she was extremely rude and horrible to us. Worst of all ,she refused to sell me alcohol because my ID was damaged, even though it still clearly states I'm above the legal limit (I'm 27 with a beard). She was rude to us throughout the visit. Absolutely SHOCKING service even for a Wetherspoons! This lady should not work here...

Wonderful place close to the town center

Usual Weatherspoons selection of beers, cocktails and food at good prices.

We often visit here for a dinner on our way home from Wales, however we won't be calling again having received a parking fine due to unclear parking signage

My local when on a lads day out. try the craft beers and look out for the managers specials on the bar. (food) Use the APP if your legs are tired and order from your table. nice outdoor area for those sunny days.

Cheap (ish) and cheerful spoons! Wait time for food was longer than expected but it was a busy mid day in half term. Good selection of food at lower costs than most places - still have noticed an increase lately. Staff friendly and helpful, although orders were getting mixed up and brought to the wrong tables it was fine soon after.

Not one of the best spoons I've been to,staff are helpful but the food was not up to scratch poor mixed grill and waiting 45 minutes for desert not good service

Called here for breakfast with my sister and niece for the first time. I absolutely do not agree with other poor reviews of this pub. We had a very nice hot breakfast ( i had eggs Benedict ) served by friendly staff and very reasonably priced. There were plenty of staff cleaning around and everywhere was spotless. I agree it is a bit dated and in need of a refurb but could not fault the staff and food. Will definitely return.

Has to be the worst pub I’ve ever been to, made me feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable. constant staring from a few of the staff, the food was burnt and also cold and took the food away before we was finished. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The food and atmosphere completely horrendous and atrocious.

Visited St georges day, April 23rd, not ONE St george flag absolutely nothing St george on show. Yet St paddy's day and burns night ( scottish) there were flags galore, big celebrations which is fine but also celebrate the COUNTRY YOU LIVE IN!! I asked barstaff where are St george flags, he shrugged and said " I dunno" unbelievable. People in St george tops were coming to door, seen no flags and walking off. The 3 other pubs we visited, did celebrate St george, flags, posters, big smiles saying happy St george day to everyone, so we ate and drank there.

Always busy , very hectic , some staff friendly, some busy staff some not , staff mainly friendly , can understand that it's a bit busy when alot in there

Large pub with plenty of tables. Had food here last night. Service was good, food was nice and reasonably priced. What's not to like.

Ordered the all day brunch. When it arrived it looked massively undercooked. The bacon was still white and the inside of the sausage was like mashed potato in consistency. Later to find out it was definitely raw causing me to be very very ill.

Extremely busy but it was Good Friday

Food has never let us down until today. The eggs were like rubber, and when asked if I could please send them back I got told they come pre-cooked and warmed up in the microwave, so they would just come out the same. Very disappointing.

Usually visit Weatherspoons occasionally, 41 never asked for ID as they've seen me loads of times ,but this one young bar staff had some agenda and serve others without asking whom looked way younger.Refused soft drinks also, get this member of staff off your team.

Love Telford and try to visit whenever in the area. The Botfield is a Wetherspoons pub and as ever, you know the score. Cheap but acceptable food served in a hurry for your ease. And so it was. We had a burger and a curry and both were perfectly ok, no real complaints at all. Just filled the gap without being anything to write home about. We stayed and had another drink just to rest our legs and then headed back off into the shops to finish our day. Passable but ultimately forgettable.

Very good place to go for food and drink

Absolutely discraceful service, I watched a elderly gentleman ask for sauces for his food who could hardly walk and he was directed to walk over the other side of the pub and get it himself, obviously I took it on myself to get it for him but the staff could clearly see he wasn't capable and told him to go get it himself. A little common curtesy and knowledge of treating the elderly respectfully is clearly lacking here and some education to staff is clearly needed. I did approach 2 manager's to tell them but they didn't care about the situation. Such ashame has its a decent place to eat for a cheap meal 😋 but respect goes far and watching someone struggle is pain in my eyes so please educate your staff to respect and look after the elderly.

Always busy cheap and cheerful, disappointed this time around 3 coffee cups handed back very dirty size of breakfast both large and standard have portions reduced and coffee which I usually enjoy very week

Loads of people tend to be very loud and have no awareness of other people. They play their phones on full volume and talk extremely loud. The food is very so so. Sometimes it's good sometimes its naf. The staff are very nice and very helpful never had a bad experience with any staff member. It's what you could expect from any wetherspoons honestly.

Brilliant place to go have food with families and friends. Great atmosphere, staff am very friendly and helpful, the food also is very well cooked. Service is brilliant. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to have a meal.

Twice had to send 2 breakfasts back as they were both cold after complaining and my friends was thr same. Need to make sure that they are selling g a hot breakfast n not cold. Staff weren't that helpful. We work in retail and wouldn't have an attitude like that. Just wanted a nice breakfast. Manager then refunded us back but didn't seem that helpful . Need to make sure kitchen staff are aware to cook food hot n not give out it cold.
