White Hart Ironbridge in Telford and Wrekin

This is one of our favourite places to eat in the local area. Dinner last night was superb, as always. The menu was varied and catered well for all tastes. The food was exceptional - they have a great chef! The staff are always friendly and do an excellent job. We look forward to our next visit, very soon.

Nice food, sat outside with our dogs. Good cider Thatchers. Salmon was very nice. Fish and chips was nice good beet battered fish.

Food was ok, but disappointed with service. Girls were uninterested and rude.bad experience after enjoying this lovely village after work today.Pity

Had dinner at the White Hart. Good selection on the menu. Food was excellent, served in a timely manner by very pleasant staff. Very clean. Enjoyed it so much that we went back another evening. Restaurant was busy on both occasions which is always a good sign. Definitely recommend.

Enjoyed lunch here. Chips were amazing!! Best I've had in a long time. Pubs dog friendly inside and out with waterbowls available for dogs. Also kid friendly. Very friendly staff with efficient service. Excellent location (no parking available at the pub but follow their website for where to park its easy enough).

My wife and I would both give 5 stars for the food. But 1 star for the waitress who served us. She seemed totally uninterested and made no attempt to engage with us. No smile, no how are you today. Once food arrived no one came to ask if good all OK. Once finished it was like "here's the bill bye" Service charge was already added to the bill. I wonder why!!

We stayed in the hotel for a couple of nights as part of our first visit to Ironbridge. The town itself is a gem, with the museum sites obviously being the main attraction. We chose the White Hart as our base and were pleased with our choice. The room was lovely with a great view of the river, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts in the morning were 'straighforwards' (no menu - standard full English, but you could make any combination of the standard items - but no 'smashed avo and poached egg' type option). We had dinner here one night, and the other in the adjacent Thai restaurant. In the White Hart itself, the dinner was solid. Decent choice, well cooked and presented. Slight negative would have been the size of the wineglasses - with the medium serve given, it felt a little like you were drinking out of a toothcup. For a bit of a classier experience they could have been larger - but obviously this is a super minor 'gripe'. Very much recommend.

A nicely located pub with terrace and nice indoor seating. Very nice food and the servers were pleasant. We would go again when next around.

Cabatta,pork,stuffing,apple sauce,not good the whole meal was tasteless needed to put salt and pepper on to make it eatable.

wow.....superb Sunday Roast for me, and beetroot wellington for my partner. Add very friendly staff, excellent beers and wine, and you've got a perfect sunday lunch, and very good value for money.

A great visit from start to finish. The smiling welcome as we arrived to the cheerful “bye” as we left. Firstly - the food. A good choice on the menu. We were 5, and had a mixture of meat and fish mains. My friends thought their steaks were cooked spot on for medium rare and were flavoursome. I had salmon - perfectly cooked. Second - the service. Our waitress remembered what we’d individually ordered- so there was no “who’s having the salmon?” Excellent! When we requested anything extra, it arrived quickly. Thirdly - value for money. We had bottles of wine and pints and 3 courses. Very, very good value for money. If I could have given six stars, I would. Well done to everyone, kitchen, bar, waiting staff. Thank you very much.

Stopped here for lunch as in ironbridge shopping. Great lunch . We went for light bites and went for two dishes to share. I went for onion barjies and hubby went for whitebait and shared some chips x food was very tasty and was great portion size. Lovely glass of red wine and great efficient and friendly service in lovely location.

Fabulous food - absolutely stunning and would definitely recommend. Couldn't fault the quality of the food and this definitely made our Christmas get together even more special.

Something special for everyone on the menu. Stunning fish options but if you’re staying the night save some room for a fabulous breakfast. 5*

Booked a table via website, we had a pre lunch drink by a lovely fire in the bar area. we wre not rushed to our table, infact we just went when suited us, Food was fantastic we all enjoyed fish and chips, carribean chicken and crispy beef noodle stir fry. Coffee to end for 2 of us All staff were so lovely. Can't fault it. Will certainly go back

A competent place to have supper in a nice location beside the Severn. Efficient and moderately priced. The food was well done if rather plain for my taste - but I have high expectations. Friendly efficient staff.

Are here on a Thursday evening. Promptly seated and served by young waitress. Ordered a carafe of Pinot Grigio £14, which was lovely. Didn’t do starters but got bread oils and olives. Absolutely lovely, olives not pitted which was great and flavour fantastic, not really salty. Bread warm. Then came the mains, got sausage and mustard mash with red onion gravy and greens, absolutely amazing proper comfort meal but fantastic quality and beautifully presented. Also had smoked trout with large couscous and some sort of harissa paste with onion bhajis, again fantastic. Not big slobby portions akin with some pubs, the food here was lovely and reasonably priced. Desserts we had raspberry and white chocolate cookie sandwich and coconut rice pudding, again delicious. Really lovely place to eat and much better than some of the more notable places to eat in Ironbridge, wish we went here twice!!

Very disappointed with the starter. Whilst the quality and presentation were very good, it was sadly lacking in value for money; I would have liked more of it for the price I paid.

Unexpected jewel! Randomly visited Ironbridge Anne popped in here for a little drink. Charming place lots of character. Got peckish and decided to eat here. And what a menu it was! Absolutely recommend going here for a special occasion or a treat! Felt like a pub that can properly serve decent quality specials. From starters through to desserts this place did not disappoint at all. Well done to the chef who created that menu! Caribbean stew and rice pudding who knew it was everything I didn't know I needed in my life. Delicious!

We have just enjoyed some delicious dishes this evening. The risotto was really creamy and well seasoned. There was plenty of meat in the Caribbean chicken which was very tasty. Both staff who served us were very pleasant and attentive. The dining area upstairs was well furnished with amazing lights.

I don't understand how anyone could rate this place other than a zero. Visited for a pint and an easy pub meal at 7pm tonight. Asked the barman for a food menu. He said he'd bring one but didn't. The table was dirty. No one bothered to wipe it while we there. We had to ask for our menu in the end. Then, when my partner asked about food and another drink, the bar person served the beers first and when he asked about the food, was told there was none. It was 8pm on a Friday evening. And the gents toilet stinks. What an absolute disgrace. Would definitely not recommend this D*MP

Rubbish, undercooked chips, a teaspoonful of coleslaw and supermarket burgers. My daughter said her fish fingers tasted ‘weird’. Don’t bother going. Staff pleasant enough but nobody bothered asking how the meals were, we presume as they knew what the answer would be!

Having visited the White Hart a few times over the past couple years and having an amazing time every single day we assumed today would be no different. So i called the restaurant and asked the lady on the phone if they had a table free in the restaurant and received a blunt no. Right okay. So I asked. Do you have to book? Then she sighed on the phone to me and said no but were busy so good luck. After this horrific phone call we decided the best thing to do was pop in as surely this wasn’t the same white hart we were used to. We entered and we were immediately greeted by a young male and female who both said hi to us upon entry and they both guided us to the menus and a table inside. These two members of staff are the only reason i’m not giving 1 star as i couldn’t fault them in anyway whatsoever. Upon arrival and until we left they both had a smile on their faces and greeted us constantly. This put our minds at ease a little. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and they weren’t bad but they weren’t anything special either. But we did only have sandwiches and for £7 you get what you pay for it was definitely not bad food. However the person from the phone call made an appearance again. I recognised her voice immediately as she came over to the table with our food and quite literally placed it half an inch above the table and dropped. She wasn’t interested in asking if we needed any cutlery or even if our order was correct. So again saved by her colleagues the other waitress (who I discovered to be called Katie) fetched my partner some tartar sauce and some cutlery and napkins for the table and even had a chat with us about our days. A drastic improvement to the other member of staff. So TLDR: The white hart is still alive and kicking however they’re being dragged down by their own staff who don’t care about the business.

We ate at the White Hart on a Tuesday evening in August. The beetroot risotto was cooked perfectly. For desert a honey cheesecake, clearly freshly made and delicious. Staff friendly. A great place to eat in Ironbridge. I recommend this place.

What an amazing lunch! We visited here on our weekend in the village and were so glad we stopped for some food and drinks.The menu was well written at such a good price. We opted to have smaller tapas dishes each. My wife especially enjoyed her whitebait, I enjoyed the chocolate brownie.Can’t wait to be back!

The food was delicious, English food with an Asian twist. The service was attentive and the wine list comprehensive. Highly recommended.

We went here today , two adults and two kids. The small tapas plates were so good!… excellent food and good , friendly service too. The kids had fish and chips and enjoyed them also. The mushy peas were done properly and not processed so my lad didn’t enjoy those… kids for you…I mopped those up. Excellent.

A lovely lunchtime stop at a busy time and we waited for nothing. Two girls served the outdoor patio and were brilliant. They were attentive , didn't stop and were extremely efficient. Well done ladies . Food and drink were fresh and well cooked

We had lunch here when we visited Ironbridge gorge last week. Food was delicious and well priced and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend it.

We are staying in Ironbridge for the night & wanted to dine out, so we looked to Tripadvisor for recommendations. We booked a table at No 10 after checking out the menu online. We have just returned to our overnight accommodation & wanted to write a review straight away - it was that good. From the welcome on arrival to the farewell good wishes, the service was excellent. Warm, friendly, attentive without being intrusive. As for the food - it was amazing. We opted for the 2-course menu and both went straight for mains. OH had the sirloin steak & I had the seam bream with prawn toast & thai sauce. It was quite possibly one of my top 5 meals ever - I am going to try and replicate it at home, it was that good. Dessert was shared - both the coconut & passion fruit mess and a cheese board. Excellent choices both. We are now thinking that this trip won’t be a one-off… Thank you to all the team at No10 for a great evening

Excellent Covid secure meal, with choice of fish, steak, lamb and veggie. Lots of nice veg. Top quality starters, wine and service good. Price good. One up from a gastropub.

Visited with family on a half-term break for an evening meal. The food was nice, very good in fact. The staff were really friendly too which was appreciated, it gave all of us a good feeling.Food was really nicely presented, cooked to perfection and tasty. Well done to all and if we ever find ourselves in the Ironbridge area again, we'll be back!

We had a meal here on Bank Holiday Monday evening. The place had obviously been busy all day and it had been very hot but all the staff were superb in their customer service - very impressive. Great menu, lovely food and setting.

Good food, good value good staff, Josh did an excellent job, very attentive without being intrusive.

We booked this restaurant as a second resort after the first restaurant we wanted to go was fully booked, well we were so happy they couldn't fit us in!! The food at the White Hart is gorgeous and the staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. Can't recommend this restaurant enough, we'll definitely be back when were in the area next!

Had lunch today and was not disappointed.I had the katsu chicken curry and my partner had the pork belly for mains. Then we had the passion fruit mess and the stick toffee pudding. I also had a pina cola.Everything was beautifully cooked and well presented. Very polite, attentative and friendly staff. And the wait for food wasn't long at all.I'm already planning on my next visit and cannot wait to see the evening menu when you open indoors soon.I highly recommend and couldn't fault this place at all.

My partner and I had lunch here on one of the first days it was possible to eat at restaurants again. Such a treat! We sat in the sun overlooking the river and watched the world go by. The standards of cleanliness were great and the staff very friendly and helpful. I had the pork belly, which was delicious, accompanied by lovely fresh veg, and my partner had the fish finger ciabatta, which was accompanied by a delicious salad. Good place for LGBTQ diners.

I had emailed Stephen prior to booking due to my wife being veggie and most places not offering much of a selection. Stephen sent me across a sample Vegetarian dedicated menu, he also helped accommodate a nondrinker in the part by allowing me to have a bottle of their favorite sparkling wine behind the bar and being served at the table. We were looked after while dining and will be returning.

What a fabulous evening, amazing food, beautifully presented. The service was excellent and we felt safe in a warm, cosy environment! Highly recommend as there is something for everyone and the whole experience was top notch! 🤩

Just had a wonderful meal here. I had the rump steak which was cooked to perfection and was a really good piece of meat with no waste. The wine was also very nice and reasonably Priced.

It was the festive season since I last came here, but over a year long since I come to the monthly taster menu night.So I was happy that I got booked in for the first taster after Lockdown for them.The White Hart's monthly taster is always guaranteed quality for money and worth every penny! And this is way I'll always pop back here now & then.......1. Sourdough bread + miso cultured butter. There sourdough bread is tasting better every time I come hear, and you can tell the maturity of the bread is getting better.2. Crab wonton + hot & sour.A delicious crispy fried wonton and a broth that has a fiery kick but not too much.3. Duck + red chou + elderberry + beetroot.Lovely tender duck with earthy beets and very slight acidity from elderberries.4. Salmon belly + teriyaki + spring onion + furikake.Salmon belly was so succulent and juicy! And texture from wild rice & sesame, with a delicious coating taste of teriyaki.5. Lamb belly bacon + wild garlic.Nice little bit of crunchy and juicy belly ! Plus it was definitely nice to have so.e wild garlic in October.6. Lamb saddle + onion + mint.Perfectly cooked and delicious lamb! With a gorgeous hint of mint, with a ever so smooth texture mash !7. White chocolate + passionfruit sorbet + meringue.White chocolate foam was nice light and very airy, sorbet was delicious and had a slight sweet & sour taste! 8. Fudge 'billionaires' shortbread.Fudge was absolutely divine! Shortbread great with chocolate on top made me wanting more!Always like coming back here for there tasters, it's always great value for money for the dishes that you get! Plus the wine flight is priced reasonable, and the staff are always friendly.

Coping admirably on a busy Saturday afternoon, Shropshire lad beer and burgers were delicious. Well done.

We booked the tasting menu with pairing wines: it was my birthday treat. The decor was just right, the space between the table very good with extra screens, the staff was wearing masks during the full service. Everyone was friendly and were were just feeling "pampered". All the courses were just the right size for a tasting menu and the wines complimented the food, my favourites were the crab (broth with a kick but fantastic fusion flavour served with a crab croquette, absolutely delicious), and the lamb (just succulent , charred on top and soft in the middle). The passion fruit dessert was extremely refreshing and zingy. The only improvement I could sugest on the menu would be to give the choice (for the last course) of a very sweet dessert (like the fudge) or a mini cheese platter (if possible with unpasteurised local cheese).

We booked a table but upon arrival we were told no food available. We were given no explanation perhaps Covid related!!. When we asked why we were not informed we were told everyone had been informed and that we had not made a booking. This was not true and I have a record of the phone call I made. I can only assume the girl who took our booking forgot to write it in the book. No apologies were; given absolutely disgraceful.

WE'd been here before on our last trip to Ironbridge over a year ago. It is clearly very popular because the two nights we were in the area we were not able to eat becuase they were fully booked.HAving a drink was no problem, and it was good to see they are doing all that they can to keep staff and customer safe in these different times we find ourselves in. They offer hand sanitisers, take your details, have bar screens up and one way systems in place.Shame we couldn't eat this time, but good to know you are doing well and we will be back net time.

Had a day trip to Ironbridge with my wife on our way home from Bridgnorth. Lovely place to visit. Setting for pub was good and we sat outside enjoying some people watching and local beer. We had some tapas and a bowl of chips. Nice lunch and would recommend a visit. Would be helpful if they had a menu outside so you could see your choices first.

We sat in the courtyard and although the wait for food was 30 minutes, it was worth waiting for. It was busy, but after a long walk it was a relief to rest a while.

Sunday lunch time, the majority of our group opted for a Sunday Lunch of roast beef, which looked amazing. I opted for spicy lamb meatballs, which were part of the small dishes menu, but were just what I wanted. A lovely garden area to watch the world go by and the waiter was a very pleasant and helpful young man.

Food was very well presented and very tasty. Staff very helpful. Excellent wine. Very enjoyable evening. Would return

Slight problem with the booking as I booked on their website but they didn't have the booking, the chap was very nice and squeezed us in. We were surprised at how good the food quality was, very good, really enjoyed the meal and wine.

Had our dinner here on Sunday, food was lovely, service was good and on the whole good value for money, would definitely visit again.

We paid over £80 for mediocre food at best. It was undercooked and bland, for somewhere with such a reputation I expect at least 3 times what I expected, very disappointing.The staff were rude and snobbish towards me and family, when my father complained to the staff about our meal, they were quite offensive and aggressive.Drink selection also very poor considering the price. Do not visit.1.5/10

I'm sad to say that this was one of the worst experiences I have had in a restaurant. I dont remember ever complaining before but I had to say something as it cost£70 (with 30 off for eat out to help out) and I still feel sick from it. My starter was Salmon which was not cooked and lukewarm. Inedible. My main course was also lukewarm. When I tried to tell the waiter he was rude and aggressive DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE!!

Fantastic meal last night with friends. The place is so relaxed and the service excellent. The kitchen is obviously at ease with itself sending out faultless innovative dishes that lead you a merry dance around different countries and cultures of the world complimented by a great wine list.Top team,top work - it is a gem and well worth a visit.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch here whilst visiting Shropshire for the weekend. On arrival we were met and made to feel welcome by the friendly host who outlined and explained the covid 19 measures in a very pleasant way. The meal was lovely, my husband had the fish and chips, which even to look at, you could see the quality of the fish, it was a cut above and it tasted great too. I had the mushroom risotto and oh my word , it was packed full of flavour and a variety of mushrooms in every bite. Had I been at home I would have licked the plate, it was that good. I just wished this lovely place was nearer home.

Visited on trip to the area. Just walking along and they had spaces. Very Covic compliant. Very helpful efficient staff and very tasty food

We have visited before and the food was excellent. Second time around did not disappoint. Food was delicious and staff were attentive and considerate. A table was found for us outside to drink cocktails after our meal so we could enjoy the food weather and gorgeous sunset. We reserved an outside table the next day for drinks too. A must visit.

The White Hart is a beautiful gastric pub in the heart of Ironbridge. I visited with my boyfriend and cousins. The food, drink and service was top notch. We had to book, understandably, but even without a pandemic, booking is essential as this restaurant is in such high demand. I enjoyed every minute. Asa vegetarian, I would like more mains food choices but I am sure, if I wanted to I could have ordered a tapas of starters. As it went, I really enjoyed the mushroom and truffle risotto. The sticky toffee pudding was also amazing. I’ll be back .

We. stayed in Ironbridge last week for a few days & this pub restaurant was very good. The food choice was good for the time we are going through. The customer service was excellent. I would definitely go again when we visit next.

We dined here Sunday for a Birthday meal and the staff / food was amazing. Thank you for making our first weekend out in months enjoyable - we will be back soon.

Very enjoyable meal had by all with a mix of tapas style food and main meals.Very attentive staff working very hard and very quickly to give a lovely and enjoyable experience.Food was delicious and good value.The whole atmosphere was great with calming music playing in the background and giving a soothing sense of comfort, with the added benefit of being family and dog friendly.

I called in for pre dinner drinks, and sat outside on their lovely patio area. Inside the Inn was also lovely, ousing character and charm. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for one night and booked the same day. Room was large and clean with large bed. Found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Had dinner in the evening which was very nice and good value. Breakfast was great with a good choice. Would definately stay again and would recommend.

This was a brilliant place to stay and celebrate a birthday. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, they were attentive and friendly. The room was comfortable with a couple of easy chairs, lovely double bed, view of the river (flooded) and large powerful shower. The flooring creaked a bit so walking around the room was a bit noisy but there wasn’t a bedroom below. The restaurant was very pleasant good seating, not too close to your neighbours. The food was delicious, the four of us had different choices from a reasonable option menu and each of us were very happy with our food. Breakfast was good too, enough choice in the menu for most people I would guess. We would definitely stay there again.

We visited on a Monday lunchtime for a drink, it’s a cosy bar just opposite the river and it’s worth noting that it’s dog friendly. The drink prices were reasonable and we enjoyed a sausage panini as a light snack. Very tasty.

Just stayed for 1 night in a lovely room, comfy bed. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was particularly good.

My partner and I popped in for Sunday Lunch while visiting the area and we were very impressed. A nice warm welcome as we arrived and were taken to our table. The area was clean, tidy and nicely decorated.We had the Beef and the Lamb Stew as main courses (skipped starters and we liked the look of the desserts and didn’t feel we could manage 3 courses)The food was excellent, great flavours, generous portions and very reasonably priced.For dessert we had chocolate brownie with pistachio ice cream and the cinnamon rice pudding with mulled fruit and ginger crumb. Both were delicious.Service was great and very friendly.Great job guys, we would love to return sometime.

We had lunch here in a large group today. We arrived late for lunch after a long walk with small children. The staff at the White Hart couldn’t have been more accommodating and the food was excellent.

This is one of many favourite places n Ironbridge, great beer, wine and gin. Had a Sunday roast and mulled wine.Great food and service. Popped in again tonight just for drinks love the relaxed atmosphere.

Lunch here was excellent. Tasty, inexpensive, well presented and a good variety on a short lunch menu. We made a tapa out of starters (offered at a discount) and it worked a treat.

January 2018 was the last time I dined here ! A it was for the taster menu, so i was overdue a visit & as missing the taster nights this year i thought of booking up a table for a quick dinner just before Christmas....

With 14 of us and such a wide menu to choose from, you wouldn't expect everyone to be happy, but everyone thought the meal was fabulous, which when you are the organiser is brilliant.

Well what a find. We booked to stay here on the dinner B&B; option on a whim during a day trip in October when we discovered the Christmas light switch on event 30 November, and this wonderful restaurant 'Number Ten'. We were not disappointed, the food was excellent and amazing value. The service was great too. We'd highly recommend.

The upstairs room is really pleasant and the menu was quite appetising, but I'm sorry to say that the food didn't live up to expectations.

We went here for a family meal during our half term break in the area. This is the second time here. Last time was 3 years ago. We sat in the bar area at about 4pm on sunday. It was quite quiet. The food was excellent. All of us enjoyed our meal and they accommodated our fussy eater requests.

I hired the room upstairs for my baby shower and had afternoon tea. The room was a great size for 24 guests and we were allowed to decorate it however we liked. The staff were great, especially Josh who kept coming to check everything was okay throughout the day and helped to organise the event beforehand answering all of my many questions. Included in the package were two huge cakes which tasted amazing.

Terrible as the gap between expectations and reality is tremendous. Very average pub food pretending to be posh.

Came with family, we all had something different and I think everyone enjoyed. I do wish I had had the beef, I had the lamb and felt short changed lol.Plus it was a little tough, the beef however looked amazing.

Amongst a group of not very enticing pubs and restaurants in Ironbridge the White Hart stood out as the best for casual dining, good staff and decent meals. The outdoor terrace would be a big hit in the summer.

Lovely setting, we sat outside, slightly cold but overlooking the Severn which was high. Drinks quite expensive but nice.

We stayed in a spacious double river view room which felt like home,very comfortable with fair-trade tea & coffee with extras in hallway We notified the restaurant a week in advance we were gluten free & a menu was printed for us with so much choice. Food was a very high standard using seasonal local ingredients. Enjoyed drinks & a tasty breakfast too. Great choice for breakfast particular enjoyed the homemade yogurt fruit compot. Stephen & his team couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Thanks all we will be returning soon. Perfect Inn in a perfect location. Highly recommend.

We popped here on Saturday afternoon for a drink outside as the weather was mild. It’s perfect to watch the world go by with lovely views. Drinks were nice and reasonable, we didn’t eat but the sharing platters that went past looked delightful. worth a visit.

We had a lovely Sunday dinner, everyone was very friendly and accommodating, particularly for a vegetarian who wanted a roast dinner. We look forward to visiting again.

So many places are ‘ok’, but we were so pleased by the quality of the food, flavour and presentation. There is obviously a passion for delivering a genuinely wonderful culinary experience. The restaurant is run efficiently. The albeit young staff are well drilled and hardworking. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the place and would certainly comeback if we are in the area. Seriously doubt you will eat as well for such good value.

Having been rudely told by a barman who never looked up from wiping the bar counter that they were "fully booked" the previous Saturday, we decided to give the White Hart a second chance and we were glad we did.

We recommend this pub for an enjoyable dinner with great food. We were a party of five for a family celebration. Service and food was all good. Deserts deserve special mention. The pub has nice bars and an outside seating area which is good for a relaxed drink or eating in the warmer weather.

Wonderful stay at the White Hart which was a birthday present for my other half last April 27th, so sorry taken me so long to leave a review as been again many times for an enjoyable cocktail sat people watching outside. Although I think the room and bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade just a little tired looking (we had the room with the small 2nd bedroom off it), the bed was very comfortable and it was clean. And being a bit tired, that wouldn't stop me giving them five stars as the overall ambience, service and welcome they gave was oustanding, and we really appreciated the relaxing time we spent here. The restaurant is cute too and evening food very good, as was the breakfast All very clean, plus good toilet facilities on the ground floor which is always a bonus if your visiting with older folks who may be a little unsteady on their feet. Must try Sunday lunch soon! X

We stopped off here for a drink, drinks were nice and affordable, didn't have anything to eat so can't comment on that.

Great service from all the staff, a lovely menu which includes some unusual items as well as some more classic menu selections, and a comfortable room to stay in, all for a very reasonable price! What more could you ask for?

great atmosphere in the White Hart for our fleeting visit to Iron Bridge. the meal was spot on and the staff very helpful. We popped next door to see the live band after our meal and there was a great crowd in. Excellent bar!

We seldom have dinner in the hotel we're staying at ( unless it's a "Restaurant with rooms" type weekend of course).

Second stay this year for my wife and I, our go to place when visiting for the weekend, excellent service, excellent food, excellent staff, excellent rooms, another perfect stay, highly recommended.
