The best restaurants serving British food in Stratford Avenue and New Town Stratford-on-Avon West Midlands

Pequeño café en las afueras de la ciudad. Muy cerca de la estación de tren en una zona casi desprovista de establecimientos de comida. Precioso desayuno para llevar servido por un propietario muy amable. Que este tipo de establecimientos florezcan durante mucho tiempo.

This is a lovely little café with very reasonably priced, generous portions, freshly cooked and (important for me) clearly labelled gluten free options and a kids menu with the simple options kids enjoy. All of us enjoyed our food and whilst the gluten free batter wasn't anything special, the fish was a generous portion and beautifully flavourful and well cooked so this was easily forgiven. The food isn't fancy but it's well done and tasty and doesn't cost a fortune, none if had any complaints. A great place to stop for lunch or brunch, I think the only thing that was a little tricky was fitting around the small tables but given its small size and popularity, you can see why the tables were small. We got there relatively early for our cooked lunch and were waiting about 20 minutes - reasonable as it's freshly cooked and I am gluten free - I think if it was really busy cooked food might take longer? Worth it though.

Fuimos tentados por el "menú de chocolate caliente" en un día frío. Desafortunadamente, a pesar de la etiqueta de precio, nos sirvieron chocolate caliente muy acuoso. He tenido mejor de una máquina expendedora. ¡Quizá sus desayunos sean mejores!

I succumbed to a cherry and almond croissant today……just amazing with a flat white coffee….pleasant surroundings…..a very happy boxer dog receiving doggy treats from the amazingly attentive staff…..who encourage a great atmosphere to get to know other locals …..we have met so many people …..and found new friends.0ur happy place :)

Conocí a un amigo aquí justo antes de que comenzara el encierro. Un ambiente muy peculiar con hermosos gatos y gatitos. ¡El café era delicioso y mis panqueques de tocino y arce eran increíbles! Lo recomiendo encarecidamente (incluso con la tarifa de entrada de 5, en beneficio de los gatos).

We stayed here and went to the restaurant to find it set for breakfast. On check out we discovered it had been closed for a year which caused issues as I’m type 1 diabetic! Shame also as the reviews were fantastic

De hecho, es un regalo poco común en comparación con las cafeterías más convencionales de High Street. Adelante, haz tu día, no te decepcionará. RM?

Best meal i have had all year. Lovely food, staff and atmosphere.

All round amazing! I had the duck roast from the specials menu and it was absolutely gorgeous. Portions were the perfect size too, we left feeling very full after having 3 courses which is exactly what you want. Service was outstanding from all of the staff too and not only that but they were such a cheerful and happy team. The staff also go above and beyond to support their customers, as this pub and restaurant is located in a very old building (as stratford is a historic town) it was not originally build eoth accessibility in mind so the doorways are pretty small, the staff helped to hold open doors and offered help with many other things to help me have better access to the place being a wheelchair user. To my knowledge they do have a ramp however I can get up some steps pretty easily and can hop down them easily too so chose not to use it. We will definitely be back again!

Good station, but can be crowded at times and navigating between platforms at those times can be hard. Lots of good connections and a good interchange station in general. Looks a lot like St Helens Bridge though I can't lie.

Visiting Stratford-upon-Avon over night and visited for a quick lunch that lasted 3 hours! Excellent lunchtime specials, reasonable prices and very friendly staff.

We randomly wandered in for a drink with my friends, feeling a bit apprehensive since it’s part of a hotel. But as soon as we got to the bar, the young guy completely put us at ease and wiped away any bad feelings. He was very kind and served us with great professionalism. Next time, we’ll definitely stay here!
