Stratford Victoria in Stratford-on-Avon

As a sufferer of IBS i needed the toilet urgently after travelling all day to and from st. barts hospital for a pre accessment for heart surgery . Every toilet i went to at stratford train which was quite a walk from one to the other ,were all out of action ! I had to go to the shopping centre to find one ! With several pay rises , you would expect a necessity like a toilet would be working !!

Very busy as always. There is a need for more and better (clearer) signage there is also I need for additional tfl staff throughout the station.

In terms of location and connections, it's the best station (in my opinion) - I would actually make an argument for it to grow as more of a hub, which makes much more sense. However, the layout is by far one of the worst especially when factoring in that is was regenerated as part of the Olympic campaign. Layout logic, and implementation: 2/10 Location: 10/10 (DLR, High Speed within walking distance - or DLR - that goes directly to St Pancras within approx 7 minutes also now with Oyster) Amenities: 7/10 The flow and crowding is awful and should be rethought.

Toilets, if there are any, are impossible to find even if the staff half-heartedly try to direct you.

Very well maintained, clean, friendly staff

A bit difficult to find the right exit at first, but otherwise great experience, people are always willing to help!

Different trains to various destinations and no time delay

Busy, confusing layout. Staff are great, but need to be as crowded and busy most of the time. So busy it is often we end up going up stairs and we need to be across the other side. Some people rushing about rude with suitcases,and lifts are horrible.

Tidy station, well organized for locals on business or in small groups. Staff is kind enough but the station needs clear signs showing the traveler where to go if they are not a local. The lack of clear signs and markers implies that one has the station memorized. Not well organized for families or travelers.

Easy to navigate around ,don't use the toilet.

Not too much to say, pretty standard DLR station with a lift / elevator. Rather than walk through the Westfield shopping mall it's often best to take the train here one stop to Stratford Station.

Can be a bit overwhelming if it's your first time using the station. Plenty off staff to help, but who wants to look like they don't know where they going!

Busy as usual. Noisy but comfortable place. A lot of facilities, stores, and supermarkets. Largest in the UK shopping mall Westfield. Train, underground and bus stations. Easy access to any parts of London.

It's amazing, literally. Love the Jubilee Line, DLR is good, Overground and National Rail is fine, Central Line not the best but it's getting refurbished. Anyways just go their lol.

Great place to visit not just for Westfield or London Stadium

Very poor signage and few staff members on site this weekend tried to get to the C2C trains and it was nothing but hassle ended up on the wrong train because C2C trains share a platform with other services which isn't signposted! Staff are a bit unhelpful when asked about signage. The reply was to say well tell management because this service is infrequently then signs don't go up. And we had to walk 10 minutes in the wrong direction to get to a staff member to get the help. The station is filled with signs why not have signs that say 'this is a weekend only notice' C2C trains platform 8! Abysmal sort it out Stratford station management

I wanted to add my railcard to my new oyster and the employee said I had to complete one journey before doing so. On my second journey, I went to Highbury & Islington and the worker there said I didn’t need to make an initial journey before adding the railcard and the worker at Stratford was either being lazy or didn’t have the correct tools to add my railcard to my oyster. If I’d just gone to H&I and done it there, I would’ve saved myself a few quid. I urge TfL to properly equip their staff with the correct knowledge and resources to fully assist their paying customers. Furthermore, the customer service I received at Stratford was blunt and unhelpful. Had the worker at Stratford been more friendly, I maybe wouldn’t have written this review even though I unnecessarily lost money.

Too crowded and full of irresponsible young people. Great shops but the crowded atmosphere is just not worth the hassle

Stratford is probably the most busy and the most huge station in eastern London, which has connections with the jubilee and central lines, overground, DLR, Elizabeth line, and national rail! Despite this the station looks very cool and grand, but the only downside is the sheer amount of people you get coming here and navigation is quite tricky through so many lines.

Congratulations tfl for other depressing and broken weekend where trains get cancelled and the new ones close the door in the nose of the clients. Really deserving the huge fees we pay.

A nice station with amazing connections to all over London and the UK.

They way and pace of how they are developing this area won't let you get bored, and after each renewal its easier to access both - walking or biking and public transport, go and have a look :-)

Easy to connect buses to different locations and also trains. And also the shopping mall got different eateries

I like the station. There are many lines here and you can get to the city center super quickly. There is also a large bus hub and two large malls.

By far the most uncivilised London station, people constantly push others to get on buses and tubes trains. General very unsafe atmosphere, lots of pickpockets too.

Number of closed shops and something is always broken

This is the most confusing station I have been in. Arriving with an Oyster card and leaving with a national rail ticket is totally bizarre in terms of lack of signage and instructions.

Large, modern station. Lots of choice, including regional trains. Elizabeth Line & Central Line run here.

A large bus terminal with a nice shopping centre

I use this station every 2 weeks to pick up my daughter from Chelmsford, always helpful staff, always clean, and tons and tons of lines to help you get anywhere!

It's a fairly useful but not that easy to navigate station

The station is very good to be honest, but it seems confusing at times. Especially when its rush hour and you're trying to get to a certain Line with no knowledge of the station.

One of the greatest and most busy station in London all the times. You can take Central Line, DLR , Jublee Line , Elizabeth Line, overground and trains to Essex. Also you can have fastest way to Liverpool Street and Central or West London. Station looks so clean on my recent visit and staff always very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended friends, family and colleagues

I love the atmosphere of Stratford, lots of different people all the time. Great

Not bad. Just sometime very not spais and people are not very intelligent. Alot was rude and with bad manners. But some of people was very nice end helpful.

Big station with trains going to almost every place in london. Great connectivity. Surrounded by a mall, restaurants, local market and stadium. Too many things to do nearby.

Quite a lot of running around for transplants

Humongous mall with all possible brands under one roof. And the best thing is one can shop comfortably “inside” without having to brave the weather “outside”

Amazing and Beautiful place for all purposes. All the trains are available here from where you can travel all around the London city.Picnic, shopping, eating, dating all the facilities are available here. Good for photography lovers also you can get good scenery and views.

Nice place to do shopping and taste different foods.Lot of beggers which is not nice.

Very busy destination station and commuting station. It is always seemingly busy and if you are new to the station and not sure where you are going, then stay out of the way of people who know where they are going. Not that people are rude, but stopping or dawdling is just annoying at this station. Keep your head up and look where you are going like all major stations and central stations... Looking down at your phone and not walking in a straight line is the only way you will get jostled around. The station isn't dirty but not that clean either as it is busy... Did I mention it was busy? Not that architecturally interesting and confusing but not even a fraction of the confusion, Mish-mash architecture or sprawling as the horrific Bank/Monument (I call it Bonkument) station.

One of the best interchange stations with all the facilities. With a separate mall entrance. The staff at the station is cooperative and helpful.

A great place with a lovely variety of shopping centres and restaurants. Westfield is next to Stratford Station.

Lack of facilities for such a big rail station. Absolute shortage of ticket machines and tapping places within the station which is odd considering it’s an underground and national rail interchange.

I like many aspects of the station, but it cannot cope with the numbers that travel through in certain parts. Toilets are the most horrific I've seen - Mark Renton wouldn't even enter.

Stratford Station amasses many epitomes, alike bodacious pusillanimous encompassed embedments. The lavatory, stipulated adjacent towards the entrance/exit, may not re-enact the facets as satisfactory, neither cognizant. Platforms may be detoured with the presence of general waste, alike recyclable waste disposals. Trains arrive 5-8 minutes apart on either eastbound (towards Shenfield), alike westbound {(towards London Liverpool Street (HIGHER LEVEL) preceding 6:00a.m.)}, {(towards Paddington and Heathrow T5 (via Paddington) succeeding 6:00a.m synonymously)}.

I really do not like the general people that go to Stratford, so I avoid at all costs going there. Great transport links and shops.

Stratford is so named as back in the olden days the locals built a road which went right up to and then through the River Strat where it was quite shallow, thus creating a Strat ford. There were not any cars in those days so it was quite easy for horses with riders to swim across the river which was only about half a mile wide at that time.

Stratford is a main connection in the east of London. There is a large shopping centre and it's the home of West Ham United football club.

It's a train station. What is there to like about it? It is tidy and clean with the people working who mostly don't know the proper information.

Very beautiful and energetic place.

Statford is a great place for shopping and it has connections of underground trains and overground trains to other parts of London!!!

There are no benches on platform 8. Are you intending to put some in? I feel like you've forgotten. Not great for the elderly and disabled.
