Here's a 5-star review based on your input: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was blown away by the incredible food at The Cavalier! Unlike many pubs in the UK where meals often feel preheated, the burger here was an absolute delight—juicy, flavorful, and bursting with taste. Every bite was a treat, and the quality was top-notch. The atmosphere was warm, the service spot-on, and the overall experience was fantastic. Highly recommend this gem for anyone craving a delicious, freshly made meal! #BurgerHeaven

As someone who has travelled to Thailand nearly ten times and is a big fan of Thai cuisine, I was really impressed by how authentic and flavourful the dishes here were. Everything was beautifully presented, and the taste was spot on. • Salt and Pepper Squid: Surprisingly fresh and tender, with a light, crispy coating—absolutely delicious. • Vegetarian Spring Rolls: Perfectly crispy on the outside with fresh, tasty vegetables inside. • Chicken Satay: Juicy and tender chicken paired with an authentic satay sauce and crushed peanuts—it felt like a mini Southeast Asian getaway. • Pad Thai: Soft rice noodles stir-fried with vegetables and juicy prawns, with a perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavours—very appetising. • Green Curry Beef: Tasty beef in a rich, Thai-style green curry sauce. Not too spicy, so it’s great for those who prefer milder flavours. Perfect with rice. • Prawn Crackers: Crispy and tasty—a great finishing touch to the meal. The service was excellent—staff were friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. It would be perfect if they added some Thai drinks and desserts to the menu!

I go to The Olde Peculiar about once a month for a meet up with my brother's for a meal and a pint and it never disappoints. The food is always excellent, generous portions, and great value for money. There are always some 'specials' in addition to the usual menu. The beers and ales are always good and the Olde Peculiar beer is fantastic 😋 Thoroughly recommended.

Went here visiting my mate who lives in Kidderminster. 5 minutes from the train station and what a great little pub. So quirky and friendly. Staff were fantastic and knowledgeable on the ales. I had a pint of Frizzle which was excellent. We had local pork pie and sausage rolls which were just the job! Overall a brilliant place to spend an hour or two with friendly staff and locals... Great beer and snacks. You can't go wrong!

We were staying at the hotel, so ate dinner as guests. Judging by the photos in the hotel's promotional literature, the restaurant has recently been refurbished / redecorated and, whilst the colours of the wall were warm, there was a complete absence of pictures or mirrors on the walls and a lack of soft furnishings which, combined with the wooden floors, make sounds echo and the room feel a little barren and cold. That said, the food was just stunning, imaginative combinations, artistically presented and just delicious and, as with all good quality food, satisfying and filling. It was just that the lack of atmosphere detracted from the experience, which was such a shame.
