Best little cafƩ in Wellington for breakfast and lunch! Very welcoming atmosphere and the staff are incredibly friendly - nothing seems to be too difficult for them. The food is excellent with plenty of choice and always freshly cooked. Unlike many small cafƩs, the coffee is consistently great quality. A little gem and highly recommended.

This is a fabulous country pub, with lots of lovely nooks and crannies. We had the roasts, turkey and pork, and they were quite possibly the best weāve ever had. The meat was āmelt in the mouthā quality, and the veg superb. The Yorkshire Pudding was suitably large and delicious. The service was excellent and very friendly too. Highly recommended.

If we could give it 10 stars out of 5, we would. We went in there expecting the classic pub food, but we were so wrong. The food is delicious, close to fine dining more than pub. We had the vegetarian options, and the flavours were amazing. To take something as simple as veggie bangers and mash with gravy and make it taste so delicious requires some proper talent. The mash was from real potatoes, the gravy was made there with some red wine as one of the ingredients. The chef is very charismatic and passionate. He spent time explaining his cooking to us and how he's evolved the recipes and told us about the history of the place. And everyone else was so friendly. We loved the experience and it will definitely be a place we'll stop by whenever we go through the area.

One of the best lunches we have ever had! Not many tables (maybe 6) indoors, and a few outside as well - we timed it well, as it got busier the longer we stayed. The team is so friendly and welcoming, prices are reasonable and the food is exceptional! We had New Yorker Bagel and Pork Gyros - so flavourful, big portions and well-presented. They also have a bakery selection at the counter and we had a Kinder Blondie and Double Decker Cookie - both very decadent! A must-visit!

Although it was an extremely busy Sunday lunchtime and there was very limited space , the very friendly staff managed to accommodate us , thankfully. We had a wonderful roast dinner with a couple of excellent pints of local ale and cider. Highly recommended this venue and would definitely love to come back. Tremendous.

We arrived less than half an hour before closing and ordered sausage egg and chips and the staff were great. They even checked with us if we minded them sweeping up ahead of their closing time. This is good honest food well cooked and at a great price. So glad we took the time to walk here from the centre where food was 3x more expensive!
