The biggest problem I have with Talk of the Town is that I struggle to walk past without buying something. The way Ken cooks his bacon and sausage on his griddle makes it the best sandwich in town. If you are looking for a food truck for breakfast or lunch, it’s definitely worth a detour.

Thank you to Ken and team for delivering our brunches to our event of about 20 people. Food and drink was pre-ordered, and delivered correctly, on time, and most importantly was still hot when it arrived. Everyone enjoyed the food (and you could tell because the room fell completely silent once we all started eating). We will be using you again. Thank you TOTT!

Sorry to say a really poor experience.I had a long wait even though only 1 in the queue and when it came the bacon was poor quality (lots of stringy undercooked fat) .Chewy as hell.Wont be going back.

Having driven from south coast at 3:30am we wanted a breakfast around the 8am point, but not at Motorway prices!I read the other reviews on Trip Advisor and decided the “talk of the town”, a few minutes off the M6, was worth trying. We were not disappointed. It was the best bacon sandwich ( thick crusty bread to die for!) We have had in years. Plus so reasonable. Will call back again on our return journey in a weeks time.

Great place . Infact one of the best in Stafford and surrounding for a good sausage bacon and egg sandwich , cheese burger , or just a cup of tea and slice of toast . Ken and the team are always happy to help , offering local delivery and specials on selected days of the week. It's a shame I don't get more time to call in and have lunch

This surely must be the best place for breakfast in the Stafford area. The crusty bread is thick and fresh and the food is cooked to perfection. I didn't need any lunch after this! Friendly staff and the van was very clean. I would recommend this and will certainly be returning

I have driven past the Royal Exchange for years. On each of those occasions I promised myself that I would call in one day. Well, today was the day! My wife and I walked from Aston by Stone to the Royal Exchange [6600 steps). The weather was kind and the Royal Exchange was all that we could have asked for. Angela, the host, was friendly, warm and professional. The pub was warm and cosy with an open fire and a wood burning stove. No music, just the welcoming background of fellow drinkers enjoying their favourite tipple and the chance of an undisturbed conversation. The full range of Titanic Brewery beverages plus very generous cheese and onion cobs was the icing on the cake. I realise now how many opportunities I have wasted over the years by not calling in. Angela does a great job of maintaining a 'proper pub' and I look forward to our next lengthy walk with a trip to the Royal Exchange as the prize. Thank you Angela for a grest experience.

What a lovely way to spend our Saturday afternoon. Lunch here was lovely. The only critique would be the amount of crisps. 4 crips was a bit poor! Other than that the food was delicious. The tea was very tasty too. I’m very picky with tea. But This was lovely. Staff were wonderful and was smiling and seemed happy which is always nice to see. We will be visiting again soon. As I very much enjoyed the peace and quiet away from main cafe/bars.

Another fantastic meal, great staff friendly and attentive.Lovely menu hard to choose but had chicken risotto which was packed with meat. I'm not a pudding person and would normally have cheese ( which there is ) but went for sticky toffee fabulous light and very moreish.
