Can highly recommend Bistro at B63. Fantastic food. Students and staff are friendly and helpful. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

We booked a 3 hour baking course - it was absolutely fantastic! Simon the trainer was engaging, patient and very funny. And the bread and cake is extremely yummy! Great experience.

We have dined many times at B63 Halesowen over the years and received excellent service and food ? However, last night was utterly amazing and outstanding. My husband and I noted the wonderful atmosphere as we entered the venue, Simon Roberts, the director of operations in the kitchen and front of house, was there to meet and greet whilst taking us to our table. Immediately we were then introduced to a front of house team member who was so confident, so charming and cheerful whilst efficiently ensuring our drinks were brought to the table. The atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing as we were then served the most delicious and beautifully presented 3 course meal. Every course was so flavoursome, so succulent and one simply forgot the young people in the kitchen were chefs in training. Clearly Simon Roberts is a tremendous leader who has ensured his staff have raised the standards both in the kitchen and front of house at Bistro at B63. He clearly has instilled in their training the importance of customer care and satisfaction. His team were delightful, so engaging, so enthusiastic and these young students provided their customers with 5* service. We had a fabulous night out with amazingly mouth watering food and we cannot wait to be eating there again.

Booked a large group for a Christmas meal. We pre-ordered our food and a couple of bottles of wine. It was easy to do. Food was fabulous, tasty, well presented, right quantity and served efficiently. Everyone enjoyed their evening and want to return for another event.

We had a 60th birthday party here. The food was amazing and was laid out very professionally. The staff were so helpful and friendly which made our afternoon with our closest family and friends very special. Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone and we will most certainly be going back to sample their Christmas afternoon tea and other themed events.

We have ran an event here twice at point of writing and both times have been excellent experiences. Venue is easy to find, clean & welcoming. The staff are friendly, the food is very nice and everything is priced very fairly. If you need something for your event or visit then you can be confident they have it.

A fantastic dining experience - We attended one of the Fine Dining evenings and real fine dining it was too. Delicious food, beautifully presented and properly served. Went to an evening with Tony bomer Brown , entertainment was first class and the food was first class . The students who served our table were first class . Just had an amazing meal at the Bistro and will definitely be going back again. The food was impeccable and the serivice was second to none. There was not a fault to be had. The atmosphere was so relaxing and calm could of stayed till breakfast!

We booked in for the Thursday evening Spring menu as it is lovely to have an opportunity to support the students, both in the kitchen and front of house. The evening was wonderful. The staff and students were very attentive and the food was excellent. The 3 courses for £17.50 offer is brilliant value. We ordered the soup which was very tasty. The lamb main was delicious- and so much of it!! We ended up taking some of it home. The chocolate brownie dessert was delicious, even though we struggled to fit it in. I would highly recommend and we will be booking again.

My wife and I went to the Valentines evening last night. It was the first time we had been there and we went as our son was scheduled to play the piano during the evening for some relaxing background musical entertainment. We weren't sure what to expect as it was the college restaurant but we have to say the whole evening was excellent. We received a warm welcome from all the staff, the food was exceptional, far better then you would get from your local pub or even top end restaurant. All the staff were extremely pleasant including the bar staff, waitress staff, manager and head chef. We will certainly be booking to go again in the near future and would highly recommend this Bistro for an evening out. Many thanks for a great evening.

I recently visited this restaurant for breakfast with Santa. I can honestly say the family atmosphere was amazing, all due to the attentive staff and Santa himself. The food was delightful and the team were very hospitable. We will definitely be visiting again.

I went to the opening evening at Bistro at B63 - the training restaurant at Halesowen College. We were a group of 8.The decor is bistro style with a lovely atmosphere. We were greeted by Hospitality students who showed us to our table. The students were attentive and the service good. The choice of food is excellent with starters, mains, sweets and side dishes available. The restaurant is licensed with a good range of drinks available at VERY good prices! We all had different starters , mains and puddings and could not fault the quality of the food ( cooked by catering students, with guidance from the resident chef). Overall cost per person for three courses including drinks was £16!!!! With starters from £2, mains from £6 and puddings from £2 - Whats not to like!

It was fantastic from start to finish. Food was superb, piper great, service very good. Been to this event many times but can honestly say that this was the best yet. No whisky to toast the haggis year though.

Well what can you say booked for Burns Night 23rd Jan, depsit taken receipt received through post, finished work early got ready, looking forward to a lovely evening. Arrived to find the restaurant in darkness and closed! We did find a staff member of the college who was very helpful even though they couldn't understand why there was no event on despite it being advertised on the colleges website no mention of a cancellation. We left feeling rather deflated after getting ready and travelling in freezing conditions for an anticipated lovely meal out. I would award 0 stars but system insists on 1. I know this is a training kitchen but seriously if your going to cancel an event at least have the decency to let people know, they were quick enough to take our deposit, sorry but I would not recommend to anyone needs far better management.

This was our 4th visit within 9 months to the college restaurant, so we've a fair idea of what to expect.The themed evenings seem a great idea but only if you carry the theme through or at least attempt it. So as an Italian themed Valentine night there were two bites of the cherry but failed on both counts.Why, well if you hadn't known it was Valentine's day or an Italian menu there were no clues in the room to tell you otherwise. In a way why bother to promote the event if no effort is made to push the themes. Once seated no one took drink orders and when the waiter came they were just focused on the food order and had to be prompted to take an order for the drinks .The waiter never came back for further a further drinks order do we decided it was easier to go the the bar. Our table starters of Mushroom Arancini and Antipasti selection was good but on the small side and but well presented.

Es fácil olvidar este es un restaurante de formación dada la calidad de la comida. Hoy mi esposa y yo disfrutamos de una sopa de puerro y patata filete encantador seguido de de solla. También hortalizas excelente. Una buena selección de postres bien presentado y una generosa ración de queso con galletas y apio. Buen servicio de los cursillistas. Nos encanta ir.

Some friends I work with had a xmas meal at the College Training Restaurant. The food was amazing, the young kids serving us were very professional and it was comfy too. Basically it was like eating in a fine dining restaurant but at pub prices.

some weeks the food is very good.....other weeks it is average.....depending what meat and vegetables have been chosen.

The Whitely on Stourbridge Road, Halesowen is clicky and unless you live near by or the landlady likes you no one will speak to you. that is not the worse problem though: they have a selection of ales but don't keep them well and they are not pleasant to drink. I hope it does get managed better because there is a need for friendly locals selling a range of ales in the suburbs not just in town and city centres.

Second visit ....went to the Around the World festival. Eight fabtastic courses, two large glasses of Vino and a litre of Pimms.......THIRTY EIGHT POUNDS for tow.!!!!!!!! There were two spare tables......WHY.!!!! Get booked for the next one but......let me book FIRST.
