For top quality, fine dining in Salisbury there really is nothing to match Allium. With a small, personalised feel the beautiful, hand crafted dishes of perfect portions and exceptional quality are presented in good time and the very well thought out menu has something for everyone, as does the wine list. I couldn’t fault a thing. The final surprise was the good value as at the end of such a pleasurable, perfect experience I would expect it to cost more than it did.

Visited the farm shop today for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. Friendly efficient service and lovely atmosphere. Steak and ale also chicken, bacon and leek pies served with veggie mash and gravy were excellent. Loose leaf tea in a pot was a real treat. Would definitely highly recommend.

Chose this venue on the spur of the moment for a family roast. We were absolutely delighted with the decision; the food was as good of a roast as you could hope to find anywhere, the manager was super friendly and attentive and the general vibe was welcoming and relaxed. We will be returning soon. Thanks to all at the Wig and Quill.

Some classic British dishes on the menu, helpful service, and the bar (which is associated with the hotel) has plenty of beers, lagers and wine. Lots of room between the 4 to 5 tables in the main dining area, although I suspect you could eat at tables by the bar. Meanwhile, you’re in a very old stylist building within the Salisbury city centre.

While Cosy Club is a chain, the Salisbury branch has the feel of something really local. It’s on the edge of the town centre in a converted college. We eat here regularly and always use the menu as a guide for brunch. The food is well presented, the staff friendly and knowledgeable and there’s always a quiet business about the bar and restaurant no matter what time of day you visit. I love how you can pop in for a coffee and croissant, a light brunch or a full meal.

Agree with earlier reviews we had 2 slices of Quiche with a small salad a slice of bread an butter and some coleslaw a coffee and a Diet Coke it was very nice but not worth £35

Top English food … special Sunday Roast 🔝

An historic and fascinating location which firmly grounds you in British history. Beers good too.

The two stars are purely for the friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food really let the experience down. We both ordered steak, which turned out to be tough and completely lacking in flavour. It was served on a bed of onions that looked and tasted like they’d been boiled rather than cooked properly—pale, with no colour or warmth to them. The tomato on the side looked past its best and the peas were yellow. The chips were disappointing too, full of black knots and just not appealing. Overall, I wouldn’t return, as the quality of the food was poor.

ORDER (to takeaway); Shortbread slices, Lrg Cinammon Latte Katsu chicken slice SERVER; Sabia Member of staff seemed new to the location. Even though some may think that being slow in processing and checking the order, aswell as how to correctly put it into till. Could be a bad thing, I would rather have someone take the time to make sure everything was right the first time. Even though there was a queue, the server kept their attention on us. Checking if we wanted the options that came with the latte. A second member staff came out during our visit, so please dont think that the server was left all alone.

Wonderful service and the first pub that I have encountered In salisbury which I’m sure our foreign visitors will welcome and the. Staff are certainly making an effort to make customers feel welcome well done 👌

The customer service was great! Our servers were really friendly and attentive to our requests. One in particular was really kind to my children allowing them to “pay” with their “cards” on the card machine. And the roast dinner was delicious with generous portions!
