Been and had food here this evening, I had the chefs special, which was the faggots, parley mash, garden peas and gravy.......wow! What beautiful amazing, mouth watering food! The faggots were absolutely out of this world, the mash was smooth and tasted great. The gravy!......well that's drinkable 😱 followed by lemon cake and cream 😋. Soooo yummy

We visited in the 08Feb for lunch and enjoyed it so much that we booked to come back in the evening for dinner. It’s a lovely location across from the beach and parking which by the way is free if you eat there. Food was lovely but a touch in the pricey side really. Staff were friendly and not in your face every two minutes. A good choice in the menu. Overall a nice experience

After a cold and muddy walk by the coast we just happened to come across The Greyhound on our way home…. So glad we did! What a lovely warm welcome we received.. us and our dogs. The beef roast dinner was delicious and the cauliflower cheese, the best Ive ever had! The staff were absolutely delightful as was the warm fire and atmosphere. Thank you guys! Also thank you from the dogs for the beef and biscuits! We’re be back for sure!

Been here a few times now, once in the summer at night, once for a late morning coffee and cake and yesterday for lunch. Each time we have been we have had a warm welcome. The food has been really good at really reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

My husband and I recently had a 3 night stay at the New Inn with our disabled Dachshund. Annette and Julian were the perfect hosts and we couldn’t have found a better place to stay! Our room was in the original part of the building on the ground floor, it was a large room and beautifully furnished with good water pressure in the shower. All of the food was excellent and we ended up eating in the pub on all 3 nights of our stay. All of the staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend the New Inn and will definitely be returning

Very poorly equipped accommodation, cold room, bathroom very outdated. No bathmat stiff old towels, little space to put anything. It said on advert that breakfast & a coffee machine was provided. No breakfast. One old tea bag in a jar. Only packet’s of coffee no decaf. You have to go to bar & ask for milk, which then stands out all night, some sugar in a bowl with no cover & no teaspoon. Bed reasonably comfortable, but imagine if it was winter would be cold. Tv had no remote control so you had to get out of bed to turn the volume up or down. Had to ask for a key to lock the room when we went out. Also when you leave in mornings, you have to let yourself out a side door. As the pub staff are not up till later!! Not worth £100!

The Garden Centre is quite lovely but the café is disappointing in a number of ways: the coffee is disappointingly flavourless and I would say not of good quality especially considering the Americano has no crema top? When I queried this they didn’t even understand what I was talking about. The staff are cold, unwelcoming and uninterested. When you meet with friends or family it’s to chat and socialise, so I am confused as to why there is a radio blasting in the background? Come on guys you are in the hospitality industry… Surely a smile, a friendly chat and a helpful gesture is not too much to ask? Very, very disappointing service.
