Quite a small Wetherspoons, but excellent service, staff are very friendly and helpful. Limited selection of beers and ales, but they have a beer festival in a couple if weeks, but we'll ve back home by then. Here for a couple of days enjoying the area and called in for dinner and breakfast and not disappointed.

Weak Flatwhite probably one shot, milk not Silky enough! Breakfast was on the money, nice, hot and tasty enough. Sausage was a little bland. Dodgy stainless tea pot! But that's so British!

We have been visiting this establishment for several years when, on our Holidays. Unfortunately, our last visit, will be our last. TV's on nearly all the walls, one showing tropical fish 🐟. In the past the one TV that was there, was showing vintage music videos, which the customers of our age, (50's/60's) enjoyed. Also, they have removed, FOSTERS, which was popular, and replaced it with Bay's lager which, has a taste of 'Hops'. Not a Lager in our book! The only other Lager in San Miguel, an expensive lager that you would not spend the evening drinking! Also, the bar was closed early, on a Saturday night, because there was not enough people in the bar! There were 9 before the'Bell' rang at 10pm! Which resulted in the customers, that were in the bar, leaving, and taking their custom elsewhere. Including us. They don't even have an outside line phone to call taxis for the customers. So for us, that's it.

The worse fish and chips I have ever had, heard so much about this place from TV Fish Town..... The fish didnt smell fresh at all, all brown and looked crap. The Batter was terrible, soft and mushy and the chips under cooked and all we had seemed to be the ends. id give it a zero

We called booking a table for later that evening; the manager/owner was extremely friendly and accommodated our need for pushchair space next to our table. This is the first time we had had an evening meal out with our sleeping baby, and we are conscious and worried that establishments (and their customers) don’t want to dine next to a baby of an evening...well this was allayed when we commented we had a baby “no problem” was the instinctive reply which made us feel at ease. The food was really excellent...I had locally caught fish

We were on an overnight stay and looking for a place to eat. We popped in on the off chance. Staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate us. My husband had the scallops starter and would highly recommend. I had the pate which was very nice. The prawn Thai curry was very nice. Would recommend but advise you book

We went in here for a drink over the Christmas period and as soon as we walked inside we were greeted by very rude and unfriendly bar staff, because we had a pushchair. Following that the same member of star was rude to a 7 year old because he was in the bar area. We understood that it is a small pub, however the hostility was completely unjustified, so would not recommend this pub to anyone who isn’t a local

Over the years that we have been visiting the food has always been excellent. This Saturday lunchtime we were a party of 6, for my birthday. Attentive staff, excellent food, with wide menu choice - but fewer sweets to choose from than one might like perhaps. The large vegan platter (starter) was unusual, and superb, as was my fish pie. Others had a wide variety, all rated excellent - albeit not cheap.

Busy day in Brixham, the pub next door was full to bursting so we tried this place. It was empty and it didn't take long to find out why. Rude staff, no ice, no diet coke or pepsi. One couple in there drinking larger which was the only thing available. The barman said if you don't like it go elsewhere.

Received a very warm welcome on arrival. The drinks we had were excellent and the place is spotless. Will definitely pop in again next time we are in the area.
