This is a gem of a find. We were staying in our caravan and had Sunday lunch here. The owners have created a quirky ambience. The food itself was outstanding, large meat portions, huge Yorkshire puds and amazing roast potatoes. All home cooked. Vegetables were perfectly cooked and a good selection. We could not manage a pud but the ones we saw looked amazing. Meal with 2 drinks each (2 wines and 2 soft drinks) £50.

El viernes comenzamos a comer sándwiches crujientes de tocino y aguacate en la oficina y es un excelente comienzo para el día. Gran servicio increíble tocino.

Dangerous pub. My brothers and I in our 40s, went to go for a drink. As it was close to closing time we were assailed by two young door men, who by default were preventing people from entering the pub. Their default position was to push customers, escalate, and use agressive language, and throw punches. It ended up in a fight between 3 elderly men, 2 young lads, and about 3 random bar staff. A genuinely horrible, and dangerous place. The door staff are immature, poorly trained, and unskilled in martial arts. I managed to bust a knee tying keep one of the door staff from kicking a 40 years old, father of two in the head. Do not attend if you want any semblance of a sensible and mature night. And to the door staff, you are ruining an otherwise wonderful town, for the sake of your ego and insecurities.

A large group of friends visited for a (choices pre-booked) brunch celebration. The restaurant is bright and airy with comfortable seating at clean tables. The breakfast menu is extensive and food was both delicious and beautifully presented. Drinks order was prompt and all the food arrived together. The staff could not have been more helpful and went out of their way to make the occasion special. Highly recommend.

Great place for coffee or lunch with a nice old-fashioned atmosphere. We had toasted sandwiches which were perfectly done, my ham was off the bone, not supermarket sliced stuff. Had bread and butter pudding and custard for afters, absolutely gorgeous. Friendly staff, I definitely believe the food was "home-made", i.e. on the premises. Clean toilets.

We recently held a party at The Bell to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday, it couldn’t have been any better. The room looked amazing, the staff were suburb and the food was delicious. The team were so helpful and flexible in assisting us with the selection of food and drinks etc., flowers and gifts were collected and given to us at the end of the evening and all our family and friends were made to feel so welcome, and the feedback has been terrific! Thank you to all at The Bell!
