The best restaurants in Tewkesbury Town with Mitton Tewkesbury South West

This is a gem of a find. We were staying in our caravan and had Sunday lunch here. The owners have created a quirky ambience. The food itself was outstanding, large meat portions, huge Yorkshire puds and amazing roast potatoes. All home cooked. Vegetables were perfectly cooked and a good selection. We could not manage a pud but the ones we saw looked amazing. Meal with 2 drinks each (2 wines and 2 soft drinks) £50.

I bloody love this cafe. The interior is so welcoming. Liz and Chloe are always so welcoming and warm and the staff are equally lovely. 10/10 would recommend!

Service was excellent. Murad and Naseem went above and beyond. It was useful to be able to choose half and half so we could enjoy a variety of flavours. We are well travelled curry lovers, we travel the UK sampling comparing and enjoying food and this was good value, good quality food. It was nice be able to bring our own alcohol... Highly recommended restaurant. We will be back and stay again here and enjoy the delights of the Balti Palace. Thank you.

Our first visit as a couple, my wife previously came with a friend and loved it, this was a birthday treat for her, initially we’d booked on the Friday night but we’d completely forgotten about it! They were great and understanding, table was rebooked for the Saturday night. We had a lovely welcome (and a laugh about us forgetting to turn up) In short, we had a wonderful night, service, food and atmosphere were amazing! After a small starter each we opted for a pizza, I had SALSICCIA E 'NDUJA (Tomato, mozzarella, chilli, Italian sausage & Nduja) My wife had CICCIO RIPIENO CRUDO E BUFALA (Parma ham, buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes & wild rocket) My wife loved hers but hands down this was genuinely the best pizza I’ve ever had! It had everything, flavoursome ingredients and the pizza dough was of such high quality and cooked to perfection with a nice crispy crust! Desert was a delicious Affogato for me and ice cream for my wife, again, both superb! Will definitely be coming back again real soon! Many thanks to the team for a perfect evening!

Saffron have really upped their game since their rebranding. The decor inside looks great and they’ve clearly invested a lot in the dining experience. I usually get a takeaway and pick it up, the staff are always so friendly and often get the door for you on your way out. I’m a big fan of the cheesena royal curry and used to love an Achari but I think they stopped doing it since the rebrand. Highly recommended!

A lovely micro pub in the heart of town. Excellent range of drinks, and a friendly host, in a cosy environment. Even got advice about where to go walking.

Have lived in Tewkesbury for 25 years and have never eaten here. Didn't think I would ever find a better place to eat a curry dish but it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are so friendly and obliging. Many thanks to you all and I will definitely be returning 😊

The Abbots Table has everything. It's a very pleasant change to visit a restaurant and leave feeling completely satisfied. A lovely Polish waitress was so accommodating, and gave us the table by the fire. We were not rushed to order, which was a good thing as there is so much choice. When the food arrived, it was perfection. Vegetables just right (no paying extra for a side of vegetables) fresh new potatoes and a generous helping of Sea Bass. This place is a gem and one of the few restaurants that doesn't fleece you for sub-standard food.

Excellent Italian food and services yesterday! Best calzone ever!
