What an absolute find. So pleased we didnât stop along the main high street of Tewkesbury and instead headed towards the Abbey. The tea rooms are unique, and definitely worth the visit. Forget Costas/and all the run of the mill venues and support local. Our lunch was tasty, and our surroundings beautiful.

El viernes comenzamos a comer sĂĄndwiches crujientes de tocino y aguacate en la oficina y es un excelente comienzo para el dĂa. Gran servicio increĂble tocino.

Unfortunately it was 3rd time unlucky for us. The estimated 70 mins for delivery ended up being over 2 hours. The rice was missing from the order, they offered to deliver some but the meal would have been cold so we asked for a refund on it. Refund came the next day but was less than we'd paid for the rice. Disappointed, probably won't be using again.

Saffron have really upped their game since their rebranding. The decor inside looks great and theyâve clearly invested a lot in the dining experience. I usually get a takeaway and pick it up, the staff are always so friendly and often get the door for you on your way out. Iâm a big fan of the cheesena royal curry and used to love an Achari but I think they stopped doing it since the rebrand. Highly recommended!

Wow, what a find. Atmospheric restoration, comfortable and cosy, proper fire. The beers, Woobly Bob, Jaipur, Sarah Hughes DR, Tewkes Fifty on gravity. This is one serious ale house. The landlord even has the decency to keep the folk singers locked up in a private room at the back. Maybe there's a restored barn behind where he keeps the morris dancers happily doing their own thing without troubling the general public. đ€Ł

Having researched this curry house quite extensively as this was my birthday meal , I'm afraid the meal didn't live up to the hype, we had the dips and popodoms for starters, the dips were watery and tasteless, I was starting to get a bit worried then , if you can't get basic dips right it doesn't bode well ! I had a lamb Madras , again pretty tasteless I think the chef forgot to put the salt in ! My wife had chicken shashlack , again dry and tasteless, even my rice and peshwari naan were pretty un inspiring, maybe the chef just had a bad night, I really don't like putting on negative posts , I obviously want things to be good, the staff were very friendly, but it's a package and the food has to be the main, the star o f the show , very disappointed!!

Accused of Not Booking as they were full. We rang at 12.45pm and asked to book a table for 8 for 2pm and told the lady who took the booking we would ring again if there was any change. We arrived at 1.55pm, walked into the restaurant for the lady to walk towards us shaking her head. My husband said we have a booking at 2pm for 8people and she just said No you Donât, he said I do as I spoke to you on the phone a short while ago and she repeated no you donât! Not impressed at all. No apology, no offer of we can accommodate you in x amount of time!

We made a large group booking at Salerno for our choir before a concert, and time was very tight. The staff were EXCEPTIONAL â a big thank you to all of the waiters who did a fantastic job and made sure everyone got their food promptly in time for the concert.

Lovely place, spacious and the interior has a lot of the local historic elements evident throughout Tewkesbury. It looks like they have a rotating offering of food throughout the week, and Smokey Grill was doing food when we were here and their stuff is delicious. Perfectly seasoned, and a decent sized portion. Also dog friendly inside and in the garden, with a little dog station inside with treats. It's our first time in Tewkesbury and I can see myself coming back here again.
