Cosy little tea room tucked away in a lovely village close to the A303 under Ham Hill. Great selection of teas as well as home made cakes. Today's pick - Lemon drizzle, banana and brown butter sponge, Victoria sponge and my choice Orange and Polenta cake. Delicious And whilst you tuck away there's 1940's tunes playing in the background. Well worth a stopover.

we found this lovely place by accident. Wonderful food, totally fresh and clean and home cooked in lovely cosy surroundings. Comfy chairs, sparkling dishes and cutlery, everything was spotless and the people who run it were charming. A lovely place to relax and enjoy lovely food or simply some coffee and maybe a bit of cake. Really a charming place.

Cafe and shop connected to Coombe Farm - off the main road near Crewkerne; lovely food, easy parking, nice folks. Very high quality organic produce and cooking, priced accordingly. The meat, as you might imagine, is spectacularly good. Great for a family lunch, tea and cake or a peaceful read.

So pleased to find the cafe opened! Great cup of tea - just the ticket to start the journey from Yeovil Junction. Sausage rolls and small cake selection certainly looked tasty and hope to sample some on the next visit!

Read about this place on National Geographic magazine years ago and always wanted to try. The Sunday Roast sharing platter was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were amazingly tasty. Portions were very generous as well. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Stopped en-route to north Devon and wanted a cafe rather than fast food. Discovered this fab little cafe right near the car park. Great variety on the menu, the staff were lovely and the food was really good quality cafe food and reasonably priced. We will definitely pop in again when in that neck of the woods 👍

We had the most delightful evening at The Bay Tree last night for a Christmas meetup with friends. From the moment we walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely amazing! You simply can't beat the taste of home-cooked meals crafted with care, and The Bay Tree delivers that in every bite. Each dish was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection—truly a treat for the taste buds! Rene and Kevin were, as always, absolutely fantastic. Their hospitality, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor made the whole experience even more special. If you're looking for a cosy, delicious, and memorable dining experience, The Bay Tree is the place to be. Highly recommended!

I have visited The Clockspire on several occasions with different family members and it never fails to astound me. From the moment you set foot through the door until you say your goodbyes, you’re met with welcoming, knowledgeable and highly professional staff. Even when the restaurant is unimaginably busy, the team deliver incredible service that will leave you and your guests feeling like the most important people in the room. And the food is just to die for. The quality of the ingredients is unmatched and the flavour combinations are innovative, whilst still paying homage to the classics - you can just tell how much thought and care goes into every dish. The Clockspire is a hidden gem that truly deserves every accolade they’ve so far acquired and I can’t wait to dine with them again soon!
