Not cheap because you get top quality products. Very tasty cooked breakfast indeed. Could not fault the food. Service was excellent efficient and effective. Tidy and modern layout and super clean. Very popular so might be an idea to book on line which was easy to do to save being disappointed and not getting a table when you arrive.

Work group, Christmas Lunch. We chose the Festive Menu...Roast Turkey...and all the trimmings. Bit of a wait after ordering, meals arrived on luke warm plates, food wasn't very warm, luckily we were given a piping hot sauce boat of Gravy to warm it up. (Those words were from the server). Desserts were OK...no cheeseboard. Received our bill to find we'd been charged for the Gravy! But it does say on the menu Roast Turkey, served with all the trimmings and Gravy. So I wonder how many people have paid extra and not noticed! I would be very dissapointed if I was having my Christmas Day Lunch at HB.

The Carvery is our firm family favourite. We use every and any opportunity to go and eat because it is simply the best. The foods fresh, hot and cooked to a high standard, all the staff are smart but most of all polite, nothing is ever a bother for them

We stayed overnight while visiting friends in Burnham-on-Sea, so the venue was chosen for its convenient location more than anything else. The room was large and the single beds reasonably comfortable. The room is not carpeted and heating is by way of a small wall mounted electric heater, so not the most cosy of rooms. The convenience of the location was also one of its downsides as the hotel is situated alongside a main road, so there was considerable road noise all night. The most disappointing feature in the room was the bathroom which desperately needs replacing and modernising. There was mould all around the bath which was disgusting and it is beyond me why it is considered acceptable to rent rooms in this state. I can not comment on the food and drink served here as the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings and we did not have breakfast the following morning. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel.

Called in on a Wednesday lunchtime as we passed by from Bristol airport on our onwards journey to family. Spotlessly clean, I asked for mayo, the squeezey bottle lid and bottle were spotlessly clean, as was the vinegar lid and bottle, toilets clean and tidy. All staff friendly, nothing was too much trouble - I asked for hot water to top up my pot of tea. We had chicken wraps and skinny fries, chicken was nice and juicy, good value for money. We would definitely go back if we were ever in the area again.

There seems to be an inability to provide a hot breakfast in this restaurant. The only hot item on our plate was the hash browns , the rest of the meal was luke warm. The prices in this restaurant are not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, and yet they think it’s ok to serve cold meals.

We stopped with a caravan . Followed the signs for caravans . No designated caravan places . It was the overflow car park, caravan & trailers were using double car parking spaces which were short and narrow and couldn’t turn into them properly or turn out with any degree of ease . Had to reverse the caravan when luckily no one was parked behind to enable to turn out . We did not stop very long and bought no coffee or food . Totally misleading .

Stopped off here on a long coach trip across the south of the country, so we didn't have any choice (as Leigh Delamere had been ok on the outbound journey). The noodle bar is shut, and the Leon place had a puzzing range of stuff with a fast-rotating menu screen. I couldn't find a single gluten-free sandwich in Costa or Smiths or anywhere. So I had to manage on a packet of crisps and some snacks I brought with me. I mean it goes without saying the place has the atmosphere of a haunted catacomb in a defunct seaside town. But pick a different 'service' station to stop at as there's no choice here. Even at around 6 pm on a weekday. Plus no massage chairs :(
