We visited Lana's in Bridgwater on a friend's recommendation. It was a real pleasure. We ordered two delicious ice-cream sundaes. They offer interesting flavours such as candy floss, rhubarb, birthday cake ice-creams (Yes you read correctly!). The sundae includes different syrups, different toppings and finishes. Decisions, decisions! I just loved my custard and rhubarb sweets on top... Lana's also offers milkshakes, waffles, hot puddings, hot drinks, jacket potatoes and toasted sandwiches. They use real dairy ice-creams (Marshfield farm), however also including 6 vegan ones and 10 gluten free ones. They have gluten-free cakes and offer different syrups for your lattes, including gingerbread syrup. The service is fantastic, friendly yet professional. The setting is relaxing yet cosy, love the colours on the walls! Finally, the prices are reasonable. You can park for free in the Aldi car park, just nearby. Go on and support a small local independent business, you won't be disappointed.

We were not going to visit here because we were in an electric car and needed a charge but , as we came down the M5 , we saw that there was charging nearby and indeed there was , about 100 yards up the road . Whilst we all enjoyed the delicious fresh breakfast the car charged up and carried us on to Cornwall with no further need to charge . This will be our preferred breakfast stop from hereon , Our dog was allowed in and given fresh water and enjoyed a little sausage which might have slipped off our plates .

Me and my wife were visiting nearby and gave this pub a try. We reached out via FB to see if we needed to book a table; the pub came back to us within 5mins and booked us in. The pub is a ‘proper’ pub, very cosy with the bar on one side a few tables on another (so make sure you book!). The staff were so friendly and welcoming to us when we first came in. The food was incredible and incredibly well priced £20 for a 18oz T-Bone! Quality was top notch and the portions were ridiculously (in a good way) large; no one will be leaving hungry that’s for sure. As I said, this a pub, looks incredibly popular with the locals which says it all. I would dress for the venue. 10/10 would certainly recommend and we will certainly be back when we next visit.

Sunday the 13th of April. Four of us for the Carvery at Two O'clock. Two of my friends have never been here before. Visiting from Wellington . Fantastic Carvery. Plenty of everything. Lovely meat cut nice and thick. And all the Veg. Not like some places where they cut the Meat like Curtains that you can see through. Well Done. Shall return.

Went for Mother’s Day meal after visiting there a few months ago and what a mistake that was. Last time we went the service was fab, this time not so much. The waitress gave us part of someone else’s order so both table had to wait for the rest of the meals to arrive, she was rude to my teenage daughter and may as well of thrown her food down. No cauliflower cheese or Yorkshire puddings came out and the lamb was tough and very fatty. Would we return.. simply put, No.

Staying in motorhome in the watchfield inns campsite, booked sunday lunch, I had the roast belly pork, absolutely delicious, lovely crackling on the pork, best roast potatoes I've ever had, nice selection of piping hot veg, huge portions, well worth the money, my wife had scampi and chips, very nice crispy chips, fluffy on inside, again large portion, I highly recommend this place for food, also a well stocked bar with friendly staff, Nick the landlord is very helpful and friendly, a great all round trip.
