The best ingredients on freshly baked rolls are made in front of you by the best people. Everyone near here says the best about this shop. At busy times there may be a bit of a queue but it's well worth the wait. They now have tables so you can enjoy your food near by. The homemade carrot cake is worth a mention.

An amazing place for a cup of tea, homemade cakes and party bookings (the host is willing to be creative) from a paw patrol theme to Alice in Wonderland. The cream tea trays and buffet style food trays that are available to be delivered look delicious and all prepared fresh. Would highly recommend.

Nice breakfast, service was great, very friendly. One thing I would say is that the toilets aren't located in a good place, you have to walk into what seems to be kitchen area. Not good to have loads of people walking in there

We have often had takeaway fish and chips from here and no problems. Cod and Chips today was £21 for 2 portions. Lots of soggy chips and very small heavily battered fish. Will not go to Lakeside again.

Lovely traditional old pub just off the Quay with a welcoming atmosphere. Fish pie is delicious and satisfying. Good portion size with a generous amount of fish. I highly recommend this dish.

Lovely pint of Tangle Foot in nice surroundings. Great staff, nice clientele, although I didn't eat there it was nicely busy with people doing so and the food looked great .. and as a couple of bonuses for me as someone just calling in for a drink, there were seats available and the pub didn't smell of food (something I dislike) All good!

We recently decided to take my Granddaughter for breakfast at Riggers. We'd been there numerous times and always enjoyed it, so we were not expecting the reception we got. I booked online and from the list of available breakfast times, I selected 10.30 and received a confirmation email saying that we look forward to welcoming you for Breakfast at 10.30am. We duly arrived at 10.30 on the dot and were told by the Front of House person that "we're closed, we stop serving at 10.30". I questioned how they could stop serving at 10.30 when I had a confirmation email saying that we had breakfast STARTING at 10.30. At this point, one of the female kitchen staff shouted "we're closed!". FoH person then said, well the buffer food is still there, help yourself and take it upstairs. We collected our food, I paid and we went upstairs. I then realised that I'd forgotten to get toast, so I went back downstairs to the toaster, only to find that the bread was being wrapped up by the same kitchen staff that had shouted earlier. I asked, politely, if I could have some bread for the toaster and the answer was "No!". I pointed out that she had the bread in her hand, but the response was, "well I'm clearing it away". I found this attitude nothing short of disgusting. On leaving, we complained to the FoH about the treatment we'd received, but no apology, simply that "we're having a meeting to discuss the opening times". Maybe the lifeboat crews accept this kind of behaviour, but it's no way to treat paying customers.
