Popped in for a late lunch and what a fantastic find. Food was great, huge portions, well cooked and at a good price. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The table and cutlery was clean. We had fish and chips and scampi and chips. It is a shame we were only in Poole whilst on holiday locally so can't go more often. Great place.

Definitely a local gem of a diner! Food, service, atmosphere all excellent. Very warm and friendly staff. I've been a few times in a row already since i discovered Tubsys recently. The gourmet chicken burger is amazing and their chips are home cut, fresh and not oily at all. The choc milkshake is perfect! The food and the restaurant all feels clean and the prices are very good.

We ate there on the off chance. The owner gave us quality chips, fish, mushy peas and he had a good personality. The whole family and my cousin from Canada who was with us enjoyed the whole experience. There was a lady at the other table and we chatted to her. She was a local and regular She reckoned that the food was good there. She was right.

Ate here many times, went for breakfast this morning, always fab service, great food, cooked to order and requests, hot & huge portions. Defo value for money. Great variety of food with parking opposite too, all round 5 stars. Looking fwd to our next visit already. Keep up the good work 👏 Team Tubsy.

Me and my partner went to Poole and walked past this place not knowing anything about it, the men were very kind and welcoming amazing service, great prices and even better food!! Definitely going to be coming back!

Decided to try this this evening as I heard good reviews. They were right. The food was delicious, hot and filling. Good price as well. The last 2 photos was children's meals Very impressive.

I came across this restaurant while looking for fish and chips. An initial call to make sure the dog is allowed in. The welcome is very warm and friendly. And as far as the fish and chips are concerned: simply great and highly recommended. The portions are generous and the fish is very good. I was already full with the medium portion. Here you notice that the friendliness is not an act. This restaurant is a MUST on my next visit to Poole.

Walked by those place while doing some shopping/sight seeing, noticed a few people going in, had a look online for reviews and decided to try it out the following day, best decision. Very welcoming staff, and I presume owner/manager, made sure my request was fulfilled. Prices were standard for eating in, but the portions were decent, and a bonus big bowl of curry sauce or dollop of mushy peas. Kids enjoyed it, adults too, definitely recommend and when back in poole we will come back, the burger looked good on a nearby table.

Having phoned the takeaway to ask where order was I was told that the driver had not arrived but another driver was coming.When it turned up it was 2 hours from placing order. As a result the food was only lukewarm and soggy. Not worth the money paid. I want a full refund

It was our first time visiting Tubsys and we wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. The food was cooked to order, was very tasty and good value too. Although it's quite basic inside it's very clean and they can't do enough for you.

Went here for breakfast 3 mornings and dinner twice. Can’t fault anything at all. The food is very hot and portions are very generous. Jacket potato and mushroom omelette was delicious. The staff are friendly and the owner can’t do enough for you. Fast service too. I would recommend to anyone. Great to find somewhere that is good quality in this day and age

I have been a few times now.. the guys are always so polite.. The food is always great and it's always clean.. parking is outside, so you can keep and eye on your motor.. They do home cooked food aswell as fish n chips etc.. and they are always eager to plz.. Thank you Tubsys grill.. and keep doing what your doing

The delivery was over an hour late but had nothing to do with the restaurant but the lack of drivers by Just Eat. You can't even speak to anyone at Just Eat now just an email address and they say to call the restaurant. The poor sods in the restaurants are having to deal with angry Just Eat customers. I spoke to Roy at Tubsys and a nicer bloke you couldn't speak to, apologetic even though it was out of his hands. When the meal eventually arrived, it was hot and freshly cooked, he had thrown in extra chips as well. Fish was lovely as always. The food is tasty and hot and the staff are great. Come on Just Eat you're letting customers and suppliers down!

The food was piping hot when it arrived. The meal portions are very generous. We had cod, scampi, fish cakes, and chips in our order, and they were all delicious. This was the nicest fish and chip meal we have had in some time, and we will definitely be ordering again. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Great food at a reasonable price

This is a tale of two meals. I ordered cod and chips which was not good at all. The fish was hard, dry and completely tasteless. The chips were reasonable but barely warm and the best part of it was the mushy peas which were good. Having said this, my partner's meal, he tells me, was pretty good. He ordered gammon which apparently was very nice and tasty, the fried egg was hard but excusable and the rest was good. I'm grateful that he enjoyed his meal because two awful ones would have been a complete waste of money.

Well I'm back, I broke the OCD sausage medley addiction.. I went for one sausage and a cod meal. That fish was stunning. It was bigger than my options and cooked better than my selfie's. It was huge, a fish steak! Crispy, filling and beautiful. Not to mention the added sausage to keep the comfort. I don't believe it's official but I've just given you 437 Michelin stars. I never expected such a pleasant surprise but again you have gone full David Copperfield and made my bad opinion vanish! I'm working my way through your menu no and can't decide on steak or pie next busy rest assured I'd be silly not to have both. Thanks again team. Filling my belly and my soul. Happy customer's again. First time ordering from here and I was not disappointed. Huge piece of cod beautifully cooked to perfection with lovely crispy batter that fell away from the fish. Chips tasty and no black bits. A jacket potato all fluffy and when I say it was swimming in beans and cheese I mean it was swimming in beans and cheese. Delivery was fast and the food was hot. This will be my go to place from now on!

Fabulous cafe, absolutely wonderful fish and chips and brilliant friendly service from Steve the owner, spotlessly clean and brilliant value for money, honestly never have tasted better fish and chips even form a ‘fine dining’ establishment, it’s a fabulous ‘no frills;’ place but the food speaks for itself, an absolute gem and highly recommended. Also licensed so lovely to enjoy a nice chilled glass of wine with your lunch or dinner. Thanks to all the staff.

This cafe/grill is conveniently located off the Poole high street next to a public car park. There’s outdoor seating and inside is clean and bright. The menu is varied and breakfasts are available as well lunch through to dinner. The chips are perfect, I’ve had omelettes, salads bean burgers and fish and chips and everything without exception is cooked beautifully, and the portions are very generous and amazingly good value for money. The battered cod is a highlight , served with mushy peas and perfect chips, plus tartare sauce. I hope To enjoy a breakfast there soon, served by the friendly owner Steve who cannot do enough for his customers . It also serves beers and wine as well as the usual soft drinks, tea and fantastic coffee. This place is a delight you won’t be disappointed
