Really lovely little place, tucked away behind the main high street. Nice inside seating area and an amazing outside courtyard to enjoy lunch and a cuppa. The staff are all really friendly and attentive and clearly enjoy what they do. Lovely cup of loose leaf tea - you can really tell the difference when tea is made properly! Very nice food, made freshly to order.

The Courtyard Tea Rooms in the old high street in Poole is a hiden gem of a place, easy to walk past as only a single door which leads into the Cafe which can be easily missed but if you do miss the door you will denying yourself a real treat. The team rooms have two indoor seating areas and one outside area in the form of a courtyard. Ive been coming to the place for a number of years and then with lockdown I had not been for some time until recent months. It is the perfect place to go for an afternoon tea or a nice lunch after a decent walk around Poole Old Town, the Quay and Baiter and Whitecliffe. The highlights for me about the place are, the old charm and good atmosphere, the young waitresses who are very pleasant and helpfull and the management, being an old sea dog and having worked on many cruise liners in my youth there was a saying that a happy crew makes for a happy ship, a similar concept here the staff all seem to get on very well and this rubs off with a good atmosphere for customers, yes it's a relatively small cafe but the decor and the friendlyness makes it worth spending time in and some of the conversations by other patrons are amusing. LOL. The other main highlight for us is the quality of the food, every time I and my better half have eaten in there it is consistantly very good quality food, I think the management is very insistant on maintaining that quailty even in the times we are facing these days with ever increasing costs, in-fact they have not raised there prices for some time and have maintained the quality which is a sign they really do care about the place and understand what makes people keep coming back. For us when we are having a good walk around the area this is our number 1 place for a lunch or afternoon tea.

I found this little place a month ago and now visit every week. It's bigger than you think, tables on entry, a courtyard and a cosy snug, ideal for a family get together. You won't find more friendly or helpful girls than the two that own it. Highly recommended.

My wife and I went to this lovely tea room for a spot of lunch. It was close to closing time, but the two lovely ladies still done us a lovely toastie and a panini, and they were ever so friendly. We could not recommend this place enough.
