So sad to hear that our favourite tea rooms has closed. Thank you to Suzy, Dave, Ryan and Teresa for being so friendly and welcoming to our family over the past few years. As mentioned by others your scones were simply the best and all food, cakes and drinks so lovingly prepared. We were so glad to have been able to make one last visit during October. There was nowhere else we would have made a 180 mile round trip to visit for sure. Wishing you all the very best for the future.

Great location and dog friendly. Unfortunately that's where the pro's end. Tiny coffee's £4 a drink, and extremely expensive menu. Youngest had pancakes which were £16, tasteless and hugely overpriced..Eldest had Bacon Sandwich £9!!! The full English was terrible, small portion, no hash browns, really hard dry toast and the worst baked beans I've ever had. We paid £80, I would expect the best breakfast on the planet - the food was very poor quality and was left really dissapointed.

Visited twice during a 6 week period in 2019 and had different meals each time. We returned to see if we had got something wrong however this turned out not to be the case. What food we had was enjoyable however there simply was not enough of it to justify the spend - therefore it can be deemed as expensive for what we had. The staff are nice and the place itself also nice however just wish it was better value for money than was found. Drinks are also overpriced. As an example, a dessert mousse which I though would be quite rich and in abundance left me wanting for more as there was simply an inch in a glass with more oaty toppings than mousse and in a couple of small spoons it was gone. It would have been nice to have more for the money. Maybe the name Bistro gives it away and should have realised that we were only going to get "Pretty food" and not wholesome filling food but we live and learn. Doubt we would return for a third time sadly. UPDATE AUGUST 2022 THE BRIDGE BISTRO IS NO LONGER OPEN OR TRADING

Latte was only just warm and very weak, could not taste any coffee at all. Disappointing. I have been before and had the same experience.

A lovely place to eat. Only small so doesn’t cater for people that need a dairy free cake other than flapjacks. We treated my Mum out for a cream tea which she thought was lovely. We go different times of the year and sometimes if we are early enough in the morning we have a bacon roll. They do nice light lunches there also and homemade cakes, ice creams and lollies and hot drinks and an assortment of cold drinks. When the weather is nice they have outside seating.

We stopped here on a wet Sunday morning for coffee and cake. First irritation - very strange way of queuing to place an order, even though we were not having hot food. We waited almost 30 minutes to receive our order, which was partially incorrect and had to be replaced. The coffee was pretty awful but the cakes were quite nice. So, this will not be a coffee stop again. It's a shame as some of the food looked really nice - just let down by poor service.

Started great until my partner found a big lump of mud under her salad. Was not charged for meal but will not be going back. An apology from chef or owner would have helped but not forthcoming. Don't leave the waitress to take the complaint. It wasn't her fault

We didn't have many restaurant options the evening we chose to eat in Wadebridge, and this seemed an OK option for a simple meal. I did have some issues finding something on the menu that would satisfy by capsicum allergy and the bar tender had difficulty finding the chef for advice because he was outside smoking somewhere. (Information direct from the young man...not my opinion.) Our table, which was inside near the bar, was sticky which kind of bugged me because the whole place didn't seem very clean. Cigarette smoke was wafting inside from the door that was open due to the warm temperatures. My meal was well presented and very good, but I didn't find it to be a comfortable experience eating it while smelling smoke. We didn't stick around long.

Having not been here in over a year we thought we would have an evening out as we had always enjoyed the food and atmosphere, sadly we were disappointed and did not end up staying for food. Firstly on entering we could not smell and food smells only a damp musty smell. We ordered drinks and were shocked at the price, over £10 for a shandy and half a glass of lime and soda. On being seated upstairs it felt chilly, the table was grubby and the light feature on the table did not work. Awful pop music playing in the background was being drowned out by the bellowing voice of the chef downstairs in the kitchen, we could hear most of what he was saying including the 'F' words. After sitting for 10 mins we realised that the dish I would be ordering (slow cooked pork belly)was obviously not cooking so would most probably have been microwaved along with the dauphinoise potatoes, and the noise of the chef and music we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Such a shame that this once lovely restaurant lacked atmosphere, fresh cooked food and respect for customers from the chef!

Visited today with my wife Lovely meal of cod and chips and a curry sauce Two teas to round off a wonderful meal Fish batter was lovely and crispy, lovely white flakes of fish, chips lovely and fluffy in middle and crispy on outside Will definitely be calling in again whilst on holiday Highly recommended
