Not good. Very poor bar service, and extremely dodgy payment system device. Worst pub experience so far in WadeBridge 😔

A great pub, our first choice spot to watch any sport. The pub has a great atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. However it does get very busy on a weekend so it depends what you’re looking for!

Not food, drink or related, but this morning my husband and I were trying to get home after a holiday in Padstow and ended up in your lovely town totally stuck and not knowing how to get to Bodmin parkway, the lady behind the bar and locals sat in there rang all the taxis trying to get us there and finally we were shown to a bus stop and a gentleman helped with that too.we really want to thank them for their absolute kindness and to let them know we got home to Preston in Lancashire about 9pm.we are totally grateful and thank them all.John and Lynn Lacey x

Called in here whilst on holiday. Whilst there's nothing particularly "fancy" about this pub what sets it apart is the warm, friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of drinks and although they don't sell food they are quite happy to let you bring your takeaway. Thanks for a great visit.

A Pub for Drinking (who would of guessed). Busy Monday night when I visited, great friendly atmosphere from staff and fellow patrons. No food so no cheating.

Really nice pub, friendly and warm staff, decent selection of beers and spirits. There's a decent outdoor beer area out back and it's clean and tidy. In fact the whole pub was clean and tidy. Customers were friendly and well behaved, no louts etc, prices are reasonable and there is a pizza/kebab shop next door. Would definitely visit again 👌

Excellent proper pub. Great barmaid. Proper pint ++ glasses with ye olde head room so you get a pint plus head. Just don't ask the barmaid for same as... Insert witty smut ere Plus... You can go across Street to best Cornish pasties shop in the world, get a hot one and sit down in pub and eat it. Proper pub. Great convo with old timer and his misses. Served in Aden as did my father.

Visited the bridge on wool many times over the bank holiday weekend, fantastic staff friendly locals made us feel really welcome, brilliant band on Saturday night the place to be on a Saturday evening in wadebridge. Kind regards and thank you Lynette and Basher.

Visited here a few times for a drink whilst on holiday, lovely pub, very friendly and good prices. Also felt very safe as sanitiser on arrival, they take your details and tables a very safe distance away, would highly recommend.

Dropped into this lovely pub while we waited for our take away. What a warm and friendly welcome😊 Lady behind the bar explained where the toilets were and how they are managing things in the current situation. Hand sanitiser readily available. Sat outside in the garden area. Wished we could have stayed longer!😁

Popped in as it looked to be the better of the pubs in the location. Staff extremely helpful, took our details for track and trace and fully explained rationale. Guinness was spot on, excellent pint. Premises clean, lots of hand sanitizer etc Wish all pubs were as well run. Well done👌

No food available despite several online listings suggesting there is. Bar is a great sports bar otherwise, and there's a great Thai place around the corner offering take away.

Called in for drinks before dinner. Very reasonable prices, and did not charge one of my party for a lime cordial drink (it's 98% tap water, but most pubs charge more than £2). Sharp's Atlantic tasted very good.

mostly empty , lack of good beers , cold feeling , if you only want sport on tv , very loud ,thats the place to go , but not for me or mine

Spent a few hours here. Very welcoming. Sports on good size tvs. Live music early evening. Good prices. Clean toilets. All one could ask for.

It's ok, but the beers are not kept that well. Does have a pool table though which is rare these days.

Our first pint in cornwall and one at a very reasonable price.they were ok with our 2 year old running riot in there so being kid friendly is always a bonus..extra marks for having a pool table and friendly staff.will prob pop in again

Plenty of sport, good pint, nice and friendly

We’d finished walking the Camel Trail from Bodmin in pouring rain and needed some serious refreshment arriving in Wadebridge on a Friday afternoon. The Bridge on Wool pub very adequately fulfilled our needs. Friendly barmaid, good beer and various crisps and nuts did the job. Nice music as well.

Useless pub another one that doesn't sell Guinness! Note for the landlord - pubs are supposed to sell beer!!!!!!!!

Great pub, always call in when I go to Wadebridge, always a warm welcome, and friendly service😊😊😊..... just an add on to say about a change. The current review I put up was as of two years ago, they closed for a bit and said when open will be under new management. When it reopened the pool table had gone more tables for food in place, well to me all food is not a Pub so I stopped using it, Two years on I was in Wadebridge with my Daughter and just by chance called in again. The pool table was back, good start ordered the drinks and asked out of interest asked to see a menu, thinking there's something different here and the bartender said we don't have one, so I said how do you mean lol, she said we don't do food only drinks, didn't they get the message. Well it's well worth checking out cause sitting there with your drink without the endless churning out of food is a pleasing change if not to say brilliant. Many years ago an old mate of mine said they ain't Pubs no more theym just eating houses, well the Bridge On Wool is now just a drinking house ☺☺☺

It's now a sports bar with a good price for drinks & tv's in all corners to watch sport. Food is not served here.

Supposed to have craft beers and ciders.. didn't have..! Polite staff. Don't do food.

Popular pub in the centre of town. Small outdoor seating area at the back. Biggest draw is the low beer prices! Only £2.50 for a pint of Doom Bar. Outstanding value. Does not accept card payments which is a negative.

We have been visiting this pub for the last 3 years, dog friendly pub....disappointed that it has now stopped doing food...shame.

Bit of a barn, but with lots of natural light. Decent selection of ales, but a general feeling of grubbiness on the part of the staff and facilities. Friendly but not welcoming. Seems to be undergoing regular changes of management which would explain a lot.

we stayed here after our car broke down ,put us up when stranded, was very helpful x bent over backwards to help us x

Called in for lunch and a drink after walking from Padstow and they don't serve food anymore or they didn't on a Thursday lunchtime in January, so just had a pint, no Rattler either.... so we didn't stay long....
