Warne's Bar & Restaurant in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Having not been here in over a year we thought we would have an evening out as we had always enjoyed the food and atmosphere, sadly we were disappointed and did not end up staying for food. Firstly on entering we could not smell and food smells only a damp musty smell. We ordered drinks and were shocked at the price, over £10 for a shandy and half a glass of lime and soda. On being seated upstairs it felt chilly, the table was grubby and the light feature on the table did not work. Awful pop music playing in the background was being drowned out by the bellowing voice of the chef downstairs in the kitchen, we could hear most of what he was saying including the 'F' words. After sitting for 10 mins we realised that the dish I would be ordering (slow cooked pork belly)was obviously not cooking so would most probably have been microwaved along with the dauphinoise potatoes, and the noise of the chef and music we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Such a shame that this once lovely restaurant lacked atmosphere, fresh cooked food and respect for customers from the chef!

We visited here Saturday as a large group the service was great and the food was amazing and very fairly priced would highly recommend

Never tried this before, twice baked souffle, with apricot chutney, pesto, crushed peas, rocket, butternut squash and potatoes. Such great value for money, a plentiful dish of delicious food.

Warne's is tucked away off the main road. It has a bar area downstairs and the restaurant is located upstairs. We had not booked and some restaurants were fully booked. When we arrived at Warne's tables were available. However there was only one other table eating and the atmosphere was slightly 'cool'. However after ordering our food more people came in and it was a much better atmosphere. My wife ordered the souffle which she was very impressed with. I opted for the Tikka Marsala - again well cooked and very enjoyable. A lovely evening meal.

Warnes is my favorite restaurant of all time. The food is always incredible every single time, the service is fantastic, nice atmosphere; every visit just reiterates how great it is. I have been possibly in excess of 10 times & have never had a bad meal or experience. The belly pork main dish has a cult following for very good reason. & the sticky toffee pudding is next level. Also enjoy the dirty fries on the lunch menu, super tasty, the cheesy garlic bread is insanely good & watch out for the tiny loaf of bread with the soup!

We have visited Warnes on the first night of our family holiday for around 10 years. This year was a disappointing visit. Less choice on the menu especially for vegetarians. The food was not great and the service slow. Not going to be another visit for a while.

Lovely restaurant / bar with a menu which isn't massive, but all the dishes our family chose were presented amazingly and we're to die for. I had the Chilli And Garlic Tiger Prawn Spaghetti and my wife had the Chick Pea & Butternut Squash Masala. Both tasted absolutely beautiful. Our kids both had burgers which were all homemade and looked delicious. Will definitely be back in when in Wadebridge again. 😋😊👍

Came in as a last minute decision hoping for some great fish and chips while on our short trip to Cornwall and this place did not disappoint. The fish batter must have been the best we’ve ever had and the overall food quality was definitely up there. Great value for money and very friendly staff too!

Hidden away at the side of Wadebridge Town center we would never have found it without trip advisor.Its a comfy room with very friendly but efficient waitress. I had king prawn and tomato pasta and my wife had pumpkin curry,both fresh and delicious.As we get older,good food,friendly service and no formality is our favorite formula and this hit the spot.

Had a three course meal from the Xmas menu, it was faultless, delicious poached pear and blue cheese, rocket and Walnuts to start, amazing. Warned is one of the best local hidden gems ever! It’s tucked away in Wadebridge but Is really worth the visit. Everyone’s friendly, the food is amazing (Especially their Pork dish🤤) and you can sit inside or out! Not my first rodeo and it won’t be my last 🤭

Disappointing to say the least. Came here due to good reviews on Google but maybe we chose a bad day/time to come. My pasta dish was SWIMMING in runny sauce that was more like a watery soup and my partners burger was so dry and chewy he gave up halfway through. From our starter plates being taken away, it took 5 minutes for my pasta and partners main meal to come out clearly indicating this was not infact 'fresh food', but heated up speedily in a microwave. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND

This was the second time we ate here within two days and it did not disappoint. Starting with the drinks Order the waitress remembered my order, just the tip of the excellent service. Then I had the dirty crab french fries and the fish and chips. The dirty crab fries are just a taste sensation. Amazing. Then the fish and chips are the nicest we’ve eaten in Cornwall perfectly cooked not too fatty and the batter perfectly crispy. I finished this off with the chocolate pot with honeycomb and honeycomb ice cream, just delicious. We are here for another week We will be going back

We recently visited this restaurant twice on a trip to Wadebridge - once was not enough! The calamari and pork boa buns are amazing! The pork with potato dauphinois was also lovely. If you can, book in the bar as there was a lovely atmosphere.
