To start with this is a cafe not a restaurant. So they specialise in lots of different sandwiches. They also serve jacket potatoes and soup, plus cakes. I have been twice now in the last couple of weeks and both times the food and the staff have been great. Today I was with two other people (one who is a very fussy eater), we all ordered different meals and we were all really happy with what we had. They cater for meat and fish eaters as well as veggie and vegan people as well. I don't think that they serve GF bread but they do a good selection of jackets so no problem there. The only slight drawback is the size. You can end up waiting for a table though you can order to take away as well. Prices are good too compared with the town I live in. So, basically a no frills cafe with great food and great service. I would recommend this to almost anybody except that the toilet is not wheelchair user friendly.

Stayed here for my birthday weekend and we had a great time! The room was lovely, excellent shower, comfy bed and spotlessly clean. Great coffee, food was fantastic, can throughly recommend the veggie options plus the brownies were delicious! Tom was so friendly and helpful, he recommended some top surf spots too. Would definitely stay here again as it was really good value for money and we were made to feel so welcome, we will definitely be back!

We started with cocktails in Ci Ci's, what a great way to start the evening. The team were fabulous, making me a cocktail off menu and advising on others. We were looking into the kitchen, and the lovely chef saw this and invited us in (before H&S warriors start, there was no hot prep going on!) , He gave us a an insight in to what was happening in there and how they store their food etc. We were ushered off before they started making the desserts, in order not to ruin our experience later that evening and our cocktails were ready!!! 😊 The food, well we have never tasted anything like it, it was amazing! We had the wine flight (£120.00 per person one). and whilst some may say it's all too expensive, for us it was an experience which we had planned, and knew wouldn't be cheap....It's Paul Ainsworth at No.6 after all, it's a treat not an every week go to!! Paul , if you read this, you have an amazing team who genuinely look after the guests from start to finish, they are a credit to you! p.s we went to Cafe Rojano earlier that day for coffee and cake...very good too!

Friendly mother and daughter team. Had lovely cream tea, excellent value. Later had bacon, sausage sandwich, great bread. Would have preferred bacon, sausage to be cooked more, but that’s personal preference prefer well done. Also sold hand selection of handmade jewellery, trinkets etc. bought lovely earrings and ring.

I came here with my friends last week and was extremely disappointed with our experience. At such high prices, there should not be dirty mugs and cutlery, the scones shouldn't be flourery and dry, and the coffee was burnt and undrinkable. We are uni students and paying so much for these items we expected better quality.

Used to be a great cafe within a local garden centre where you could guarantee a well cooked, reasonably priced meal. Not anymore!. Just paid £15.00 for undercooked approx 4 ounce burger with a slice of cheddar cheese, 2 slices of tomato and 2 slices of gherkin plus 'chips'. All food lukewarm. This is Cornwall, not Fitzrovia, and even though Mr Ramsay lives here for some of the year no excuse for charging same amount as we pay for a decent burger in his latest restaurant venture. I did ask the waitress to mention my complaints to the 'chef' but this fell on deaf ears. Will not be returning. You have been warned!

Great place. Visited for an early evening meal and really enjoyed the whole experience. The Pig is in a great location and internally the atmosphere is relaxed. The restaurant itself is well set out and decor is great. The service throughout was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Black pudding to start with main courses of Hake and Barnsley Pork chop. Desert of baked Alaska to share was superb. Overall a very enjoyable evening - will certainly visit again.

Love this pub! We often come down to the area on holiday and never miss a visit to the Farmers Arms. We are partial to their carvery, but this time we payed a short visit, so came on a Tuesday evening. We really enjoyed the main menu food we had (pie and lasagne) and there were lots of great options! Jacqui is always lovely when we visit, and the service here is always great. Lovely atmosphere and always chatty locals which is so nice.
