The best restaurants serving British food in Newquay Central Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Staff really friendly. Food was quite tasty but not value for money. Found this little cafe is expensive for what you get. Was hoping for decent artisan bread with some presentation effort, but sadly not. Can't work out whether it's a blue beach vibe or a vintage cafe due to the crockery used. Would I go again, not at those prices. However if you're in Newquay give it a look if you like cakes...they looked great.

Came here for their well known huge cream teas!. The scones are home made and are huge! the pot of cream and jam is massive too. One of their cream teas would easily do 2 people. The only thing that lets this place down is one of the waitresses, older lady and quite miserable looking. Quite grumpy never smiles and seems to not want to be there. A smile goes a long long way, nonetheless forget this and have the cream tea, its is legendary and very reasonable too. The Latte is the best I have tasted, even better than Costa! Lunches are lovely too. Tiny little cafe but a lovely location.

So bloody happy I was able to get my hands on a DF V milkshake! I had an oreo milkshake that was oat based and it was DELICIOUS. With allergies you really struggle to get the good stuff anymore, so I was really chuffed with my milkshake. Friendly, quick service and delicious drink with all normal options available as well as smoothies and other drinks. Highly recommend when you visit Newquay! 🌊

Wow! What a gem. Came here for a coffe on the Friday and came back for an immense breakfast on Saturday. Its well worth the deviation dow. To the harbour. I had the veggie breakfast which was 1) substantial 2) very tasty and 3) great value. It kept me surfing for the rest of the day. We sat out on the balcony in the sunshine and watched the gig rowing.

Food was absolutely unreal, I can’t recommend enough. A very personal experience. I would definitely come again

I had noticed Oak and Maple when looking on Google maps so I was over the moon when we stumbled across it on our way into the centre of Newquay. We tried several of the 'raw' bars. The peanut butter cup was a favourite. We also enjoyed a juice too. Love the concept! Hoping for nationwide delivery soon.

Amazing food every time, delicious burgers and generous portions. The staff are always helpful, kind and accommodating. Very nice place 🙌

Wow! It was the tastiest food I've had in a long time! Service was friendly, the restaurant was cosy, the food first rate. I'd recommend the potato and leek soup and the slow cooked beef, mash and brocoli was 5* I was sad when my plate was empty.

I had the mixed crab sourdough sarnie. Beautifully made and presented in a box with crisps. My daughter had the white crab sarnie, which she said was so delicious. The coffee was very good too. Image of the white crab sarnie. Mine was so good, I forgot to take image.

Great chippy, clean inside and plenty of seating. Friendly staff members. Called up to ask what they fry everything in, was told beef drippings but they can use vegetable oil to accommodate for anyone opposed to the beef drippings which was ideal for us. Food itself was great. Highlight was the gravy 😍 absolutely beautiful. Great experience, highly recommend! Update 23/1/2025 Called up to order but they no longer use vegetable oil, only beef drippings which is unfortunate!

Lovely friendly welcome. Hard working team and lovely food. Jacket potato yummy and burger good too. Will defo eat there again.Great job guys

Great hidden gem in Newquay. Almost missed it but the beautiful open window drew us in and I’m glad it did. I opted for the cheese and bacon croissant which was delicious and full of flavour, and paired perfectly with my cappuccino
