Came here for their well known huge cream teas!. The scones are home made and are huge! the pot of cream and jam is massive too. One of their cream teas would easily do 2 people. The only thing that lets this place down is one of the waitresses, older lady and quite miserable looking. Quite grumpy never smiles and seems to not want to be there. A smile goes a long long way, nonetheless forget this and have the cream tea, its is legendary and very reasonable too. The Latte is the best I have tasted, even better than Costa! Lunches are lovely too. Tiny little cafe but a lovely location.

So bloody happy I was able to get my hands on a DF V milkshake! I had an oreo milkshake that was oat based and it was DELICIOUS. With allergies you really struggle to get the good stuff anymore, so I was really chuffed with my milkshake. Friendly, quick service and delicious drink with all normal options available as well as smoothies and other drinks. Highly recommend when you visit Newquay! đ

The pizzas here are off the scale delicious. The waiting staff are lovely and very helpful. My only criticism of the place is the incredibly slow service. Maybe another pizza oven would help? Waiting an hour for a pizza is not great! However would not hesitate in returning as the food is so good. Had breakfast there too. Great coffee but a plain croissant would be great - not a great selection.

I have been here four times now, its become a thing whenever we come to Newquay, tattoo before I go home. The staff are incredibly friendly and always chatting away when you're there. They make you feel like part of the family. It's clean, tidy, always smells so good woth the cakes and coffee, I always feel like I'm home when I go in.

Absolutely love this place: best burrito & bowl weâve had in a long long time (or ever?!)⊠worth seeking out if youâre staying in the local area or just doing your shop in nearby Morrisons or Lidl.

I had a lovely cappuccino here. It is a small cafe/health shop. It has a chilled out atmosphere. The staff are friendly. I would recommend this place. đâ„ïž

It seems as though an hour wait for food is the norm here, as every time we have been here the last 4 times that has been the waiting time for food; whether it is takeaway or sit in. The staff were a lot friendlier and more attentive in Falmouth and when they were originally in Newquay in Fore Street. We recieved meat on our vegetarian version pizza, and when trying to call once home, no one answered after trying for 30 minutes. Pizza is great, but the fact the service is so appaling, we will not be going back. Which is sad because we were regulars and ate here almost every 2 weeks.

We have just returned from a long weekend here and it was brilliant Debbie & Steve both very attentative, the accommodation, they even gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco each on our anniversary. Selkies was just what we needed, a spacious, clean and tidy room with en-suite to sleep at night. We also met Alban one of the barmen and he was just as great as the owners. The food was delicious, seriously recommend the cheese board platter, halloumi and the garlic mushrooms. We will definitely be returning in the very near future.
