On a particularly crowded and noisy day today in Newquay, we just needed somewhere quiet to rest our feet and get a bite to eat. My teenage daughter and her friend loved their toasted sandwiches, while my wife and I both opted for Cheddar Baps. We were both astonished with just how delicious and awesomely good the chef here could make of something as potentially mundane as a cheese bap. Each of our baps were made from a light homemade bread rolls and filled with a perfect combination of chutney, rocket, lambs lettuce, pickle and melted cheese. Plus a side of perfectly made creamy coleslaw too. Absolutely ten out of ten for such a perfect lunchtime meal plus most friendly and helpful service too. Especial thanks to the proprietor who readily understood our teenage daughter’s sensory processing disorder and turned down the volume of music while we were there. This was a special and memorable stop for us today.

Wonderful, friendly service. Food was lovely! Had the breakfast bap, which was very tasty. Plus I don’t normally like coleslaw, but this was the best I’ve tasted.

Whether you like vegan food or non vegan food, this little modern cafe is a place not to miss. Its open from 8am and we had really tasty breakfast wraps and coffee, which we really enjoyed. Very friendly and helpful staff and contemporary building with views out to sea.

When looking at some accommodation my Grandaughters are going to this Year 2021. I spotted this new Vegan Coffee shop I had never seen before. Now I am not veggie/Vegan whatsoever, But we thought well we want a Coffee & a bit of Cake so why not. The Staff is so friendly The Coffee was very good & the toasted Banana Cake with Chocolate drizzle & sliced Strawberry was gorgeous. Please give these young Girls a visit. Towan beach is in front of the cafe, take your drink & food across to a bench & enjoy the view. But beware of the Dreaded Seagull Ha Ha

Absolutely terrific restaurant in Carbis Bay very close to St Ives. Visited tonight with my wife and 3 year old son. First impressions were great, they have a lovely outside seating area, and inside the place is adorned with stuff to nail down the fact that you are in a Spanish restaurant. Really nicely done. Service was brilliant, very chatty and friendly, and fast. Food wise: We had bread plate and some anchovies to start, then the lad had chicken strips, chips and salad. Loved it. Well - not the salad but that’s not the fault of the restaurant, he isn’t a fan of green food unless it’s peas or grapes. Then we have various Tapas dishes. Patatas Bravas, Chargrilled Steak, Chicken Panko, Tomato Salad, fried squid. Then we all shared some Churros and that very typical Spanish dessert….Eton Mess! Not that we were complaining, it’s my wife’s favourite dessert. All the food was superb. Brilliant meal. Really enjoyed it.

Here are the pros and cons for our visit: Pros : Hot food and coffee Friendly staff Cons: Took 40 mins to bring the breakfast out to us ( only 2 of us ). 10mins for coffee. 1/2 hour later breakfast was brought out. No other customers present. Dirty place : Dust everywhere, dirty floor with a ball of hair rolling around. Table was grubby. Toast that was served wasn’t even toasted at all. As if stuck under the grill to dry the bread then taken out. No condiments offered. Weak latte coffee, hot milk with the slightest beige colour. No coffee smell. Worst coffee I’ve ever had. Overall I felt the breakfast was trying to be more than it should have been. Pretentious. No need for garlic mushrooms at breakfast.
