I woke wanted to having a cup of coffee outside, so left my travelodge and just across the road I found this little cafe, ordered my coffee, then after decided to order some breakfast. Wide choice, I went for the bacon and sausage in a brioche bun. Reasonably priced, delicious and filling. Staff were all lovely and friendly, would definitely recommend people to visit

Ever since I visited the quaint town of Newquay, this cafe attracted my attention every time I walk in the town. The cute interior decoration and the smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air. I am an introvert and conversing with strangers is my biggest nightmare, hence I find myself sticking to known establishments. That was not an option this time so on my last day I decided to visit the cafe, keeping my insecurities at bay I entered the place and started to study the menu. The kind man on the other end allowed me to take my time for browsing the menu and even helped me by providing me with the other menu containing breakfast options. I took my time and finally placed my order as he offered me a warm smile. I sat at the table and observed the crowd that morning, they were all a group of strangers to me. I waited for my food as I observed that most of the patrons were known to the owner, the conversation between them was warm and it reminded me of a friendly bookshop owner back home. Beside me, was a lady with her dog and for the first time in days I was alone but not lonely. My food arrived and it was one of the most beautifully plated dishes, the pancakes were warm but fluffy, the right amount of fluff that I always wanted, and the syrup was sugary but not in a disgustingly sweet manner. I took the first bite and the memories created in the town crashed into my mind. The man waving me from his house, the sweet lady calling me love, the waves crashing into the rocks, the rays of the sun melting into the grass of Lusty Glaze and the words of people lost on the bench. In a strange phenomenon, I felt if this town had a heart, then it must be situated beneath the floors of this cafe. After surviving on mostly frozen food in this city, I finally found myself devouring something fresh and warm. After my breakfast, I left the cafe contended realizing that my trip had indeed ended but I was no longer amongst strangers.

Super cafe that’s brightened up a bleak parade. Lovely, hard working and accommodating owners who smile at their customers and do all they can to make the experience pleasant. Like the offerings on the straightforward menu. Food, good, coffee, excellent, atmosphere superb. Locals that will return and enjoy the experience again.

Popped on for brunch on the off chance. Saw the cafe was busy, great atmosphere and a wonderful buzz about the place. Also nice to see and independent cafe with great seating. Staff were really welcoming and friendly, and the cake display was heavenly. Couldn't believe the choices on option. Menu is well done, food tasted really nice, coffee was spectacular. All round great experience Lovely to see a play area and drawing options for little one, also dog friendly

Went in on a Tuesday since my normal cafe was closed Just popped in for a coffee, which wasn't very nice. Tasted like ice coffee warmed up. I did see the food being served to another table which looked nice. Staff all pleasent although there were only 3 staff working in a small space they seemed under-staffed with tables left unattended for ages with dirty plates and cups on them. A new cafe in town must be hard with so much competition

Absolutely gorgeous little cafe in Newquay! Beautiful decor - all recycled and sourced sustainably. There is a great space for the little ones to play, and of course delicious food! Amazing selection of drinks, snacks, and light meals, also catering for a multitude of dietary requirements including vegan and gluten free which is hard to come by! The owner is the most genuine, kind, friendly guy, couldn't do enough for us. Absolutely will be back and will send our friends there! :))

Asked the barista if his coffee was good and he said “best in Newquay in my opinion”….challenge on then. A lot of the places we’ve been to here use grounded coffee - local roasters and the coffee is ok, they use something else at saltd....

Friendly staff, prompt service and a nice cream tea. There is seating in the main cafe, some more under the cover of a small marquee and loads more on the lawn. Reasonably priced too.
