We absolutely love this place for so many reasons, No.1 coffee hangout for us and all the staff and artists are so welcoming, but also got this bespoke piece in memory of my late Sister Sarah, Luke’s attention to detail and care in this was amazing throughout thank you so much xx

Rolling Joe is a great quality coffee shop. Booked in with Luke for 3 separate tattoos. The first was a dog portrait which he absolutely aced. The second was a flash design around the knee cap which he did was absolutely no issues at all and the final piece (which is still ongoing) I’ve had 2 day sessions on and it’s a large portrait on the back of my thigh. Luke has an amazing eye for detail, he’s an incredibly kind hearted and friendly person who has a real talent in this craft. Would recommend Rolling Joe to anyone whether you just want a coffee from a friendly barista, you want to grab a new tattoo, or both! Thanks guys 🧡

Can’t recommend highly enough - we ended up here almost by accident and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Joe’s has the warmest, coolest atmosphere which is what brought us in in the first place, and DJ and all the staff couldn’t have been lovier or more kind and helpful. We were looking for a walk in tattoo and Louis was incredibly patient with us and the dodgy photograph of a random rock we provided him with. The line work was incredibly fine and detailed and he was amazingly committed to turning it into something that we were thrilled with, and taking the time to get it just right. We also thought it was exceptionally reasonably priced. The whole experience was fun, memorable and super comfortable, and the smoothies, coffee and cake also banged. I would 100% make a commute to come back here either just for the cafe or for further tattoos. :)

One of the best cafes in Newquay hands down! The coffee is always perfect and there’s a good selection of cake and goodies to pick from. If it’s a tattoo you’re looking for, then you’re in the right place. Luke is easily one of the best tattoo artists in the South West. His attention to detail is second to none. They also own a vintage American school bus “hence the logo” this normally makes an appearance in summer and again is 100% worth a visit to.

I had a leg piece done by Luke, never did I ever think I would have walked away with a piece of art as amazing as that. He’s the kind of guy that really puts his heart into every piece and does it for the love of his work. Such a warm atmosphere in the shop I felt so at ease having it done. All the guys that work at rolling joes are all so welcoming, good vibes, good coffee and amazing tattoos.

This is a seriously good coffee hang out, very chilled out relaxed atmosphere, staff are very friendly and helpful, this is also the best place to get a tattoo done, luke is a very talented artist & his work is amazing, he has done all mine, the other tattoo artists danielle & louis do some awesome work as well. Wouldnt go anywhere else for a tattoo or coffee & cake.

We have been here multiple times because the vibe is really chilled and the coffees are locally sourced from Penryn in Cornwall. They don’t do meals but lots of really delicious vegan and vegetarian gluten free cakes, sticky buns, muffins and non vegan etc choices too. Bagels are new on the menu. There is a tattoo shop inside with the very talented Luke Rudden.

Best place in Newquay for a tat and a brew. Sickest atmosphere and decor, friendliest artists and baristas. Had my biggest tattoo yet done here and could not be happier, take it really slow and make sure you’re happy and don’t feel like a tool for changing position and restenciling. Absolute legends.

I had an incredible tattoo experience with Danielle in the tattoo studio at Rolling Joe's. I had a pretty ambitious and challenging concept which she took on with enthusiasm and after several days spent in the studio being tattooed by her, I couldn't be happier with the final result. She truly is an incredibly talented artist and her depth of knowledge is phenomenal too! In every session with her I felt very comfortable and relaxed and I couldn't be happier with how the whole process from initial consultation to finished tattoo went. By far the best coffee in Newquay! Great coffee with right size cups (for cortados and flat white). Staff were lovely too and the carrot cake was really nice. Highly recommend.

This is by far the nicest and most welcomeing place you could go to . All the staff from coffee to tattoo do the up most to make you feel comfortable while ur ther so weather your having a sweet treat and a coffee or a tattoo you feel at home. You won't find anywhere better .

I’ve had cakes, coffee, and tattoos at Rolling Joe’s. The guys running this place have perfected a balance of chilled vibes for tattoos with a friendly hangout for anyone just wanting coffee. The nicest people on the planet, with sustainability and providing the best service to everyone in mind. What a place, buzzing atmosphere, great drinks and a fantastic place to get tattooed. Luke is an incredible realism artist, I’ve had both sleeves done by him and most recently had my late dogs portrait done on my leg..I wouldn’t go anywhere else for such a special tribute to a lost loved one. A*

Went in for a tattoo and was very pleasantly welcomed, talked about the tattoo and felt very cared for from the moment of walking in and even afterwards showing them how it’s healed (which is healed amazingly). Highly recommend these guys!!

I broke down outside in my van, went and had a coffee and pastry which were both fantastic. They have a top notch selection of hot drinks with some amazing mushroom teas available too. The owner was super friendly and the tattoo studio set up is awesome. I couldn't reccomend Rolling Joe more!

Permanent home for the legendary bus coffee place that used to be parked at the top of High Lanes outside Cubert. Coffee is still fantastic. Hot chocolates are incredible (big hit with the kids).

If you ar looking for a quirky hangout this place has it all! Great coffee and alternative drinks like matcha, beetroot lattes etc, lots of options for tasty treats (get a cruffin!) and generally good vibes. Friendly staff, chilled atmosphere and impressive on site tattoo studio if you are feeling brave.

How could I not recommend you visiting RJ! A cosy/cool hangout, perfect for meeting your friends or to sit and read your book. Coffees are made to perfection & there’s always a good selection of tasty treats. All the staff are friendly & welcoming. My favourite hang out whatever the weather ♥️

We passed the bus several times before we stopped by and we are so glad we did. We tried the delicious cruffins with coffee and pink lemonade. Lovely chatting with the lady of the bus who was more than happy to talk about their lifestyle and future plans. Following their adventures now on Instagram. Great find and worth stopping.

Literally the best coffee stop you can make, if you see the old American school bus and you like coffee you should make the stop , if I'm working in Newquay I always try and make it so I can pass rolling Joe coffee so I can stop and get some awesome coffee.

Amazing coffee and the best squishy brownies! Delicious! I wouldn’t recommend walking there as no footpath- but perfect for a stop off in the car (plenty of parking) or a coffee stop on a bike ride!

Fantastic coffee and cakes served from an old American school bus just a mile or so outside Newquay. Plenty of space to pull in and park. Don’t miss this very special place. Top recommendations: lemon drizzle cake and apple cider doughnuts with cherry brandy dipping sauce - yum!
