We travelled over from Bath to try this place and were not disappointed. We had the 'egg' and cress sandwiches which were scrummy and full of flavour. We then tried a cream tea, both the scone and cream were fantastic. I believe they are going to sell the cream as a standalone item, it's that good. We have had a couple of cream teas in Bath recently including the pump rooms and in my opinion, the one at the Eden Cafe is better. We will be making a return trip with our daughter later this year.

Great local pub with a great atmosphere indoors and a large garden out back. Good place to watch sports both inside and outside. There is a great assortment of local and international beers to choose from as well as wine and liquor.

We had a lovely afternoon tea at No. 4! Our server, Ella, was great, we enjoyed the food, and there were plenty of caffeinated and herbal options for tea.

Exceptional vegan options. Really clear that great care has gone into the quality of the dishes and range of the menu. Brilliantly executed food all complemented by attentive staff with good vibes.

The people here are really warm and friendly - unlike some other cafes in Clifton village! Food is delicious too.

After a cold walk on the downs we popped in for a takeaway oat milk latte...as good as I’ve ever had! Delicious and good service.

We had a truly delightful evening at The Pump House that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, including our young daughter, who was catered to with the same thoughtful care as the rest of us. The vegan tasting menu was a masterpiece — every dish was creative, thought-provoking, and utterly inspiring. Each course was beautifully presented and full of vibrant, unexpected flavors, showcasing the chef's skill and passion for plant-based cuisine. It was a high-end dining experience that could easily rival any 5-star hotel or renowned vegan restaurant. The prices were extremely reasonable for the quality offered, making it an incredible value. A special thank you to Kerry, who hosted us with a warm and welcoming smile, and to the chef, who took the time to come out and explain the intricacies of each dish, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. We can't wait to return, especially to try the highly recommended vegan Sunday roast! The Pump House has gained new loyal customers in us. I recently dined at Goram and Vicent, and I must say, the service provided by the staff (Jorge) was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and promptly seated. The staff made sure I felt comfortable and were incredibly attentive throughout my meal. My server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and making sure all my dietary preferences were taken into account. The timing of the courses was perfect, and my glass was never empty—service was seamless and unobtrusive. Very recommend, I’ll come back soon.
