The best restaurants serving British food in Worthing South East

We thoroughly enjoyed the Burns Night experience at the parsonage. The staff are all welcoming and attentive. The three course meal was delicious, and beautifully presented. The main event, Bagpipes a blazing, by a guy in his black watch tartan was fantastic, humorous and memorable. It was a great evening on a dreary January evening~ thanks to all the staff, chef, & tartan man.

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s the best cafe in the whole of Worthing. Great friendly service and food is always amazing. Love the huge crispy jacket spuds and great amount of prawns and a little salad. Sandwhiches best in Worthing. Lovely coffee. Just everything they produce is to perfection and always served with a smile. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Fantastic Fish & Chips, great service and really good value, very friendly helpful staff. Will definitely go again soon.

Wonderful breakfast, lovely sausages and bacon.service was great and very accommodating. There were 11 of us and all wanted different things!!! Highly recommend

Was told that the Black Cat was a good full breakfast by a friend, he did warn me that there are 2 cooks 1 good and 1 that was terrible, we got the terrible. Waited 25 minutes to get cold food, over cooked poached eggs. Would recommend any other cafe than the Black Cat Worthing.

I have visited this cafe once before and the Break was in all honesty ok. However all my good will to them has diminished somewhat. Myself and a friend have tried a couple of times to pop in for breakfast at 10 am when ( as it says on the door it’s open) both times it was closed up and didn’t look like it was about to open . The first time we waited for 15 minutes and it was still closed. The second time the same . Not a good way to run a business by not sticking to your business hours. My friend and I won’t try a third time we’ve gone elsewhere.Shame.

A lovely little pub with good food & service and a nice chilled atmosphere. A great little garden for kids. Book if going on a Sunday as it get busy.

Date 13/07/2023 Returned many times to this establishment during our holiday as my wife and I love the gluten free burgers, the flavours are balanced perfectly. The staff are professional and the waitress named sian who took my order was very kind and professional, she was a true asset to the stores atmosphere.

Simon and the team looked after us wonderfully during our celebratory lunch for my sister Jean’s birthday. Because of the history between our two families over many, many years in Worthing, the after lunch banter and reminiscing with Simon concluded a wonderful lunch! Thank you 👍

Used to be a good local pub, live music etc. Poor management, disappointed.

Great beach cafe. A little concerned as was really busy on a sunny day, no problem the staff and service were superb. As was the food.

Service was somewhat lacking this morning, the waiter serving was not overly welcoming and disgruntled when we ordered milk alternatives for hot drinks (seemed like it was too much effort to push a few extra buttons on his tablet 🙄). Food and general atmosphere was nice.

Good English Cafe. Roast meals and other goodies.

We are early as we were going to the theatre. I had the fish and chips as I heard it was good. Was not disappointed. My partner had seabass which was superb. The service was great. Attentive and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend.

Moes offers the best Coffee and cakes i've had anywhere!! Nice spatious place to relax and enjoy and the staff are all amazing and very attentive.
