Great beach side coffee kiosk with plenty of picnic tables and deck chairs. Wonderful coffee and hot chocolate. A great range of milk alternatives, vegan ice cream and vegan cake available. Also plenty of umbrellas to keep the seagulls at bay. We came many times during our holiday. Also because of the concrete path accessible by wheelchair and pushchair.

A really enjoyable evening in an eclectic mix of people. Jon and Jo made us feel welcome in their home, delicious food accompanied by delightful singing! We were greeted by cocktails then moved on to a three course meal with additional treats. A donation was made to a very worthy local charity fir homeless people. A misy relaxing way to start the bank holiday weekend. Thank you both very much!

Great selection of craft beers. Loved the atmosphere and the music. All the staff were friendly and informative. Make the visit!

Popped in here for the first time in a few years and it is now run by two lovely ladies . Reduced menu at the min due to cooker / fryer problems but still a nice choice . Hubby had beans on toast and i had a gammon ham sandwich . Nice hot beans and 3 rounds of toast for him and my sandwich had really thick gammon ,nice thick fresh bread and bread actually buttered !!! And really good value These ladies have just taken over and we will be back . Wish them well for the future

Sunday morning breakfast. The service was great, a nice warm welcome and responsive. The orders came promptly and the waiter was friendly. The only downside was that the coffee had a bitter aftertaste, but the food was lovely. nicely cooked.

I have visited this cafe once before and the Break was in all honesty ok. However all my good will to them has diminished somewhat. Myself and a friend have tried a couple of times to pop in for breakfast at 10 am when ( as it says on the door itās open) both times it was closed up and didnāt look like it was about to open . The first time we waited for 15 minutes and it was still closed. The second time the same . Not a good way to run a business by not sticking to your business hours. My friend and I wonāt try a third time weāve gone elsewhere.Shame.

Date 13/07/2023 Returned many times to this establishment during our holiday as my wife and I love the gluten free burgers, the flavours are balanced perfectly. The staff are professional and the waitress named sian who took my order was very kind and professional, she was a true asset to the stores atmosphere.

We went to Indigo yesterday at the Arlington Hotel for lunch. We were greeted very warmly by every staff member we came across. The decor is really beautiful - very elegant & the Christmas decorations were really tastefully done too. There was a tiny little 'technical' error, BUT it couldn't have been handled any better by the 'MaĆ®tre d' (apologies, I completely forgot to get his name). We had noticed a couple of tables come in after us & they got their food before us, but we didn't say anything. In fact, 2 waitresses & the 'MaĆ®tre d' came over every few minutes to glance at our table & noticed we hadn't yet had our food, so they were very on the ball. The MaĆ®tre d' came over & he said "I'm so, so sorry, I'm going to be very honest with you, when taking your order, the printer ran out of paper, so your ticket didn't come out. It is completely our fault & we're really sorry about that & so we will not be charging you for your drinks". We said he didn't have to do that, but he insisted & we thanked him for that & for his honesty. It's completely understandable that things like this may happen out of your control, but, it's also how you handle it/rectify it & we couldn't fault his customer service. Seeing as it wasn't the restaurant or staff's fault pursay, it was extremely kind & generous of him to not charge us for the drinks. We cannot fault how he handled the situation & he's a fantastic asset to the restaurant. I don't like leaving "negative" reviews, however I don't think this is "negative" - it was a minor technical hiccup that was dealt with very promptly & professionally, so I thought I'd mention it to show how attentive the staff were at realising we were still waiting for our food & to show the excellent customer service we received. But, the most important part - onto the food, which was worth the wait! We went for the Autumn set menu which is exceptional value! For starters I had the beetroot cured salmon & my Dad had the celery & celeriac soup. Both were absolutely delicious & very well presented. We both tried a bit of each other's & agreed both dishes were very tasty. We then both had the silver mullet - everything was exceptionally well cooked, lovely presentation & a very generous portion of fish. The fish was falling apart, so it was cooked perfectly. The sauce was extremely tasty too & went really well with everything on the dish. For dessert Dad had the posset & I had the dark chocolate mousse - again, both presented really well. We both really enjoyed them & said it was the best shortbread we've ever had; it just crumbled in your mouth. The mousse was really chocolatly & the berry compote was really fresh. We cleared the plates for all 3 courses! Ā£22.85 for three courses of great quality food is an absolute bargain! All the staff were very polite, friendly & professional too. I highly recommend going if you haven't already! We did go a few years ago & we remember it being really good then too.

Each time we come here the food has been amazing and has never disappointed us. We came here earlier this evening and considering the waiter was manning the floor on his own, he did such a good job and is such an asset to the restaurant. The wait for food is never long and is always so delicious! We will return here time and time again.š

Unfortunately the the two functions took priority today, as we waited over an hour for basic, mediocre food. Couldnāt cut the roast beef, needed a steak knife! The bill still included service charge! Not good. No warning when we arrived that there was a delay in the kitchen. 3 different excuses given for this. What a shame!
