Moes Coffee Bar in Worthing

Customers appear to be an inconvenience. I've been here a fair few times but yesterday was my last. Service is woeful and coffee warm at best. Customers seem to get in the way of their conversation at the counter. It's a shame I won't be going back as it's got quite a nice vibe. But the dreadful service and customer attitude outweighs this.

Lovely food , lovely coffee but was colder when I left than when I went in due to the fact they insist on keeping the door open. Such a shame .

such a cozy cafe with a nice selection of food and good coffee too! the server was very friendly and welcoming and was nice and clean inside too! they have some outdoor seating if you like, but there is a lot of seating indoors too which is good;)

Lovely Coffee Bar just a minute from main street! The best toasted sandwich I have ever had! Very competitively priced food! Really friendly staff and everything spotless! Highly recommend!

Whenever I have been in Moes the staff have been very professional. They're friendly, helpful and eager to please. The food and drinks are of good quality. I would recommend this coffee bar.

Genuinely the best cappuccinos in town. Nice quiet location, just off the High Street. Professional and polite staff. And the cappuccino is the creamiest I have ever had. Thank you

What a find, so happy we popped in from the rain- the coffee was so amazing (vegan oat milk latte) and we tried some sourdough toasties. the food is adventurous but good quality (we wont be trying peanut butter and vegan cheese again!) - the fries were only £4 and a very good portion size. I already plan on coming back - hoping for a new vegan special next time, but there are 4-5 options. Service and atmosphere, top notch- lovely load of staff- attentive and skilled baristas! I will say it was very dark and has a hipster vibe- i loved it, but might not be what some people were after- there was an elderly mum and daughter enjoying croissants. Some seating outside (when not raining, maybe 3 under cover too) which is dog friendly.

The menu has changed recently. Sadly, no more pancakes.

When the weather's nice, it's great to be able to sit outside and enjoy it on the recently pedestrianised Portland road high street.

Fabulous coffee and great food. The flat white was delicious and the overnight oats / granola was absolutely stunning. Service was quick and the staff were very cheerful. Couldn't rate this place any higher. Lovely stuff.

I threw my partner a surprise 40th Birthday Party at Moes and I cannot tell you how impressed I was. Steve and the team are professional, helpful and amenable - they made the party planning process so much easier. The venue is perfect, I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you Steve!

We only had coffees cappucinos hot chocolates and one beer. The Service was horrible . We had to wait 28 min after the order. Everything was cold. The beer was rubbish. The shop was not busy at all. The staff is not friendly . Very cold atmosphere. I don’t recommend it.

Lovely tables outside , amazing drinks

I usually come for coffee with a friend most Tuesdays and we are always so looked after and greeted with a smile. Today especially, I asked for a matcha latte which isn’t usually on the menu and noticed that although one of the baristas was on his break he got up to make it for me. I thought that was very selfless and kind. Once I realised it wasn’t iced, I was very happy to have a glass of ice and wait for it to cool but they made another. Very sweet and generous. I didn’t have any change to tip so hopefully this will do! Thanks as always :)

Quite simply the best coffee I have ever had. The staff were very attentive, helpful and it was getting busy when I left. Hopefully go back for some food as it looked and smelt delicious.

Great coffee, good food and very attentive staff. We have been to Moes 3 or 4 times now and its an excellent place to go. The staff are polite, friendly and efficient and always smiling. The coffee is lovely and the food hot and fresh. Its nice to get a cappuccino with dark chocolate sprinkles which is hard to come by. Would recommend this place to anyone who asks where to get a good coffee or lunch.

I had a toasty for lunch and was really good. Totally recommendable.

I go here for breakfast sometimes. Food great and service excellent. In summer you can sit outside, in the refurbished pedestrian area.

Can't remember going there, but my wife said we did. Obviously nothing much right or wrong with it, so average

We popped into Moe's for lunch the other day and were extremely impressed. The big breakfast was absolutely delicious with good quality sausages, wonderfully sweet roast tomatoes and delicious beans. It was also great value at £12 for two eggs, two bacon, two sausages, two hash-browns, toast, roasted cherry tomatoes and the home-made beans and I was completely stuffed at the end. The steak and eggs were great with the steak cooked perfectly medium-rare. The service was prompt and the coffees great. There wasn't much of an atmosphere, I guess, but it was a late mid-week lunch and the place was a bit empty. We will definitely go back.

Just found this little place on the off chance. Husband and I never go anywhere together and found this little gem! Being a manager in hospitality, I’m very critical… but this place blew me away. The service was friendly and not “too much”.. the coffee is the best I’ve ever tasted! And the breakfast was out of this world! I ordered chips as I thought I’d still be hungry and didn’t need to eat them. Their manager should be proud of their staff!! They all did an amazing job making sure it’s all clean and tidy and none of them were just stood there chatting. Excellent place!! Highly recommend and I will be back! Xx

We struggle we find somewhere to suit everyone's taste and standards. We'll not on this occasion . From the minute we checked Moes out it met everything we wanted. Good menu, excellent staff very welcoming. The standard's of cleanness where amazing.Then the food arrived , it was well presented , hot and very tasty 😋 Well done to everyone at Moes definitely a place we will be returning too.

Walked past this a million times, but finally decided to try it out today as the sun was out which meant there was seating outside. Best decision we made all day! I wouldn't usually spend that much on lunch, but I can say the food and drinks are definitely value for money! Food was absolutely delicious and well presented. The staff were very busy but remained absolutely lovely, and it was an altogether great experience!

Popped in for a coffee and sandwich today! Was my first time visiting. The staff to start with were all very friendly and kind! Made you feel comfortable straight away! The coffee was very nice and smooth, I had a cappuccino. I also had a ham and cheese toastie which was very nice, and a great size! Overall a great visit and will definitely be going back soon!

Quite the vilest espresso macchiato I have had in my life. Had to leave it. I can't see the point of running a coffee bar unless you believe in serving good coffee 🙁

Nice coffee. Space for about 8 people to sit outside. Only disposable cups at the moment, but there is a bin just inside for recycling both the unwashed cups and their lids.

It is always a pleasure to visit Small Batch Coffee. There is a really calm and relaxing atmosphere inside, helped by the very friendly staff! The food and drink is always of great quality! I would strongly recommend!

So disappointed always used to be amazing here but last couple of times service really slow. Saturday 3 staff were getting orders wrong and painfully slow even though it was really quiet. When we finally got our coffee it was barely warm, will go elsewhere in future.

Staff are always friendly but understaffed today so tables not being cleared/cleaned. Also coffee definitely not hot enough this time either. Shame as otherwise great tasting coffee.

Met my husband in there and had a delicious flat white. The servers were very helpful. Will certainly be to revisit this place

As every review on here says, they do nice coffee. The problem is it is brought out to dirty tables. During a 30 minute stay not one member of the 5 behind the counter cleared anything from the tables. When directly asked a table was cleared begrudgingly but not wiped. Food meh.

Excellent coffee in a funky setting.

I’m mixed about small batch these days. The coffee tastes good but I travel often and drink a lot of coffee, and two things are clear here: 1, You take longer than any other place I know to actually make a cup of coffee, even without a queue. There is only so much you can add to the ‘experience’ of a black coffee, and texting on your phone isn’t one of them. This is common in your Brighton branches too. 2, Your prices are way too high. Cool atmosphere, non conformation with chains that rush out your drink is one thing, but this is borderline bad customer service. It’s 3 stars because it’s good coffee when you (finally) get it, but it’s a tiresome process to get there.
