The best restaurants serving British food in Hurley and Walthams Windsor and Maidenhead South East

Serving great breakfasts and lunches, with a very friendly staff who made us most welcome. Small outdoor seated area is great, when the sun shines.

Had a great late lunch here the other day. They have a good menu and a blackboard full of different steaks. We had a Waygu burger and the chicken supreme, very nice. The beer selection is good and next time I'll make sure I'm not driving. At least they had some alcohol free beers as well 😉 We'll be back very soon.

Un pánico de última hora de 8 amigos buscando un lugar para tomar algo de comida y una bebida. Todo sucede por una razón y ahora puedo garantizar que volveremos. ¡Qué pub tan agradable en un entorno encantador! La comida era realmente a un precio razonable, así que tengo que decir que pensé lo peor, pero tenía hambre. Cuando la comida empezó a salir me di cuenta de que no tenía nada de qué preocuparme. Todo estaba arreglado con cuidado y atención y todo estaba caliente. No es una mala comida entre nosotros. Todos limpiamos nuestros platos. Normalmente no tomo fotos de mi almuerzo, pero el esfuerzo que se hizo para hacer esta ensalada de gambas y aguacate fue increíble. Puedo decirte que también sabía tan bien como parecía. También tuvimos un cumpleaños en nuestro grupo y todo el pub se unió con la canción de cumpleaños. En general una experiencia encantadora y siento que he encontrado una joya de un lugar.

My mother and I had a delicious lunch at Waltham Place. It’s a set menu and everything was delicious and the service very warm and friendly. We enjoyed a very informative and enjoyable 2 hour private tour (£40 total for a group of up to 4 people) by one of the estate’s very experienced gardeners, Tim. The gardens are stunning and set against the backdrop of the beautiful house. We had a fantastic afternoon and will definitely come back.

Following on from my collapse. I understand the punters and landlord maybe thouht i was drunk. The truth is i suffer from a condition that makes me black out for a certain time 10secs - 4-5mins. I tried to explain it to the landlord the first time i was there but he was ignorant and just thought i was drunk. During these episides i do not remember anything. This establishment i very unhospitable.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and plenty of choice. Great location and views

What a delight it was, to go to The Milaanj today for Sunday Lunch. The roast dinner was wonderful, home-made and perfectly cooked. The complimentary spiced bun for starters was a lovely touch, and the service was very attentive and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience, and one that we will definitely be repeating...Thank you so much!

What a gem! Beautiful pub quite hidden away but well worth a visit. Happy, friendly staff help to create a lovely ambience. The service was very good friendly and efficient without being obtrusive. Our food was very tasty and well presented and a very good selection to choose from! We had travelled from London but will definitely come again

This was a lovely relaxing experience. This is a small venue so booking, especially at this time of year is absolutely essential. The atmosphere was just right, comfortable and not too noisy The service was quick and efficient and the choice and quality of the food was good. As someone used to northern ways both the quantity of food and the prices were a bit problematic.

Absolutely excellent Sunday roast. After searching many nearby villages. All homemade. Not disappointed at all. Great value and extremely enjoyable. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Amazing Spot , Amazing Staff , Amazing Food , Amazing Prices … I recommend the Olde Bell Highly ! I will be back for sure , Sticky toffee was lovely
