Had a lovely meal here. Have actually had 3 meals here since Dec all times the food was nice and really lovely service. One of times there was a lot of us we used the small room and it was great. All the food was nice. I have also ordered a few take aways from here all was really good too

Arrived in the pouring rain; cold, wet, thirsty and hungry. Lovely server, Nichola, looked after us very well. After some hot tea and good food, we left less damp, warmer, and definitely not hungry or thirsty any more. We’ll be back!

Today should have been a celebration of 3 generations of mothers celebrating mothers day. Upon arrival of our pre booked table we were rudely told we would only have the table for 1 hour and 40 minutes. We were ushered tocl said table with no manners at all. We were thrown menu's and told someone would be along shortly to take our orders. Along comes a waiter with a attitude to take said orders. After some difficulty placing orders for food and drinks we anticipated leaving however having 2 disabled party members we thought it best to stay and save the upset. Our drinks arrived, no issues. When our food arrived we were very disappointed with the way it had been presented. No care or pride at all. One of the meals was chicken, it was still pink. Another meal was a burger, full of gristle and pink. The steak was severely over cooked and like a rubber boot. Needless to say we were very disappointed. We ordered dessert, thinking noway would dessert be a bad experience. How wrong could we be. All the ice creams we're melted, how does this even happen? Needless to say we will not be returning to this establishment again. Also the toilets were filthy and smelly and very unhygienic. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and I don't recommend anyone else try there.

I took people we support ( LD) for lunch after lunch I called a cab and was told 30 minutes, while we were waiting a staff by name Saif who is at the front desk came around and said we have to leave and I told him I can not take the clients outside and all he could say was " you can't sit here the whole day in front of other customers. At least tell me there is a waiting area for us to go instead of being that RUDE with disregards to the people we support. What an appalling customer service we received today, we never go there again. I told him we didn't come here to sit and idle.

food was lovely and the service was amazing as per. They always go above and beyond for us and tonight our daughter was getting ratty so the staff tended to her and helped to cheer her up by entertaining her and giving her bits to play with. Looking forward to next time 😍 Sophie xxx

Great place to eat great food, large selection of food and drinks , great atmosphere and layout of the place. Amazing food . Highly recommended specially for locals , I dine there every time I can and haven't been able to try everything yet as the menu is so big

First of all we had to wait about 10min before someone noticed us at the reception. Food came luke warm but been replaced very quick. The problem we had to ask for a take away boxes as after wait we lost appetite. Thankfully they had lovely deserts.Waffles and lemon morengue Ice cream was the best:) this review is just to say big Thank you to Heyley or Hailey sorry if misspelled the name. Very profesional,quick,friendly and even spent few more minutes to have a conversation just before we left :)

Food is delicious. Atmosphere is fantastic. But the staff is racist. Especially the staff who was talking orders. They don’t treat you good if you are an Asian . Sorry to post her name was Niccla .she was so rude with us. All the restaurant allows you to take your left over food to home. She was so rude to my daughter she said make sure you finish your salad otherwise you are not allowed to take salad with you. She said you can take your leftover food but not salad . I mean what’s her problem we paid for salad as well . Last month one staff was so kind . But this Niccla was so rude .I wanted to order some extra food to sharing with my family. She said that you can’t order more dishes more than people you are on the table . She said you gonna order more food and then you can’t take home with you. What’s her problem if we want to order more. We are paying for this .

All of our meals were cooked to perfection. The service was great. The manager on shift was warm, welcoming, patient, and an awesome host. All staff were actively ensuring tables were clean and checking in with customers, ensuring they were ok... Well done guys👏🏾

We were a large group in the function room. Had the same waitress as last year. She is great and not phased by a group of 31 people. She was very patient and always cheerful. Also not bothered by some paying by card and others cash.

Looked after by a really nice lady who made sure we had everything we needed made sure she logged any allergic problems

We had a fantastic waitress, I think her name was Kelly who really looked after us. She was very friendly and very observant, keeping an eye on us and when we finished our starters, clearing away our table ready for our next plate of food. At the end we had a birthday cake and she waited until we were all seated before she brought it out. When we have a family gathering we always go to the Beehive because of the great service and atmosphere.

My waiter did all he could by apologising for the lengthy wait to order even though I had booked. The manager bought my tonic at the end of my meal and I sat with a gin for ages it was a complete waste then had to ask three people for a card reader I mean don’t you want to be paid promptly honestly get more staff

The food and service is always excellent! The only area that needs attention is the decor, it really is very dated and dull, the lighting is far too dim for elderly patrons with vision impairnent

we thought we would try the Beehive again as we stopped going as the food was not always hot and a bit dry according to what we had. but with friends we decided to try again, and have to say either a new chef but the food was hot and very tasty

One of my favourite harvesters. Today lacked though! Went to salad cart and was practally empty. Took staff a good while to refill. Need to be more on it! As you will loose your regular customers. Will take this as blip. See you soon.

Awful service, went to the restaurant today despite being sat at a table for 10 minutes or more and asking 5 times to be served so we can order food and drinks. It seemed the staff were too busy to take our order despite saying that we are in a rush. Asked to see the manager nothing - so we just left. Really disappointed.

Me and my dad ordered a medium rare steak and it came out well done, waited 40 minutes just for the wrong order..

Cheap and cheerful, the food was good, my party had a different selection of food, the burgers and kebab skwers were very good, the steaks weren't cook to preferred liking. Took a while to get the servers attention each time.

The staff, the service and food is great at The Beehive. On this occasion, they catered for a party of 60 for the festive menu and did an amazing job. I thoroughly recommend this branch of Harvester. Please commend the team.

If you’ve been to a harvester before then you know what to expect, even tho it was very busy the staff were lovely and kept there cool, they deserve a medal as there were literally people queuing out the door to have breakfast with Santa. Over all good service and and a standard breakfast.

Been coming for years and always have a lovely experience...

Arrived around 4pm Wednesday, so it was quiet with few customers. Service was good, server friendly and efficient. Food was mostly good. We (party of three) all had steaks. They were cooked well, as asked for. Food arrived hot and was tasty. Free, serve yourself salad was a bit dehydrated and somewhat tasteless but the addition of various sauces helped. Average cost of £25-£30 per head, without alcohol and only one course each. Total bill for one starter, three steaks dinners, two coffees and two soft drinks was £90. Overall, good family restaurant, wide ranging menu with a mid price range.

Pleasant atmosphere and ambience. A very homely and cosy place. .Food was very nice and tasty with bar and take away option. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, ample car parking.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Would recommend the BBQ rack of ribs and the Harvesters Original Combo from the main menu. Breakfast is good as well. This restaurant offers free parking.

The meeter and greeter was polite and courteous and being as I have a walking aid he was courteous enough to ask if the seating area was comfortable. Our hostess was absolutely lovely and extremely attentive. The food was lovely. Salad bar clean and well stocked too.

Lovely setting, free car park when you input the registration on entry to the restaurant. The service was cheerful, helpful and attentive. I’ve eaten at a lot of different Harvesters and this has been one of the best! The chicken and corn on the cob was succulent. Usually I don’t eat the corn on the cob but this one was perfect. Really can’t recommend this restaurant enough! Sorry no photos as the food was too good to wait

I cannot fault the service. I would like to start there. Amazing and attentive staff and everyone generally very pleasant and professional. Please bear in mind this is a very personal view. I’m not vegetarian but really struggled with the menu. There were zero true vegetarian options offered on the menu (I was asked if I had any allergies or requirements). The menu mainly for main courses offered game(venison, grouse, oxtail), or two options of fish. The remainder, especially for mains was all game or heavy flavours (ie Oxtail). Only steak on offer was fillet at £54. Would have happily had a sirloin if offered, but as one of the group was a non fish eater or game eater that only gave her one choice as the vegetarian menu wasn’t included in the original menu offering; I’m guessing because we didn’t say we were veggies. Sadly when desserts were offered we were shown the veggie menu which I would have loved (mushroom tagliatelle vs fish and chips) but options were still limited. Overall. Service lovely, menu not very inclusive unless asked for. I really want to love you but sooo expensive for a steak and chips / fish and chips. Overall for the price I was underwhelmed. Great location but food underwhelming for the price. Even just offering a chicken dish and including the vegetarian options on the actual menu could have transformed my experience tonight. I wanted to love you and support local. Maybe it’s my fault for expecting too broad a covering. X

I cannot fault this restaurant at all, it was clean beyond spotless including facilities. The staff were very professional and friendly, I we ordered 2 adult meals without an issue and were given an extra plate for my young daughter so she could share, I asked for an extra portion of scampi for her and it wasn't a problem at all, she even got a salad bowl!! The atmosphere was calm and homely, although other customers sadly spoiled it slightly by being incredibly loud, as my youngest is autistic she was struggling a little with this (we do not ask people to change around her as she needs access to situations to be able to learn how to deal with them in her own way), the only downside was that the lighting was quite dull and the layout a little odd as we had to manometer through other tables to get to the drinks and salad area. Cost £42 for a chicken stack with sodes, scampi and chips, breaded mushrooms l, 2 refill drinks and an apple juice, portions were quite large for us (as individuals but good size for average eaters), took home a takeaway box for 5p extra and had the leftovers fkr tea that evening. I would recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat.

Lovely cosy place with great food. I got a vegetarian surprise box through Too Good To Go. Collection was at the bar and was a quick and simple process. The quality of food was excellent with very fresh ingredients. The portion size was also good especially considering the price. Parking can be a bit difficult to find though. Would definitely come back here again and would recommend it.

thank you to the brilliant team at the Harvester. We like to come here on Sundays with our kids for an easy dinner and there's never any complaints. The menu is varied and whilst it isn't cordon bleu- there is plenty of choice and offers good value for money. The team are so friendly and go above and beyond. There is an elderly gentleman who regularly eats on his own there and the staff are so kind to him. I heard that they often walk him to where he lives so that he isn't walking alone in the dark. If that isn't fantastic caring service then I don't know what is.

A hefty price tag on all dishes, this place isn’t value for money for me but well located in an affluent part of Berkshire means it’s well supported. Food ok but nothing special.

The young duty manager Paris was so welcoming and polite. She answered all our questions we had on arrival and was very knowledgeable.

We waited a long time to be served and then we were waiting for our orders which were made wrong some steak was not cooked well like we asked and chips were hard Salad wasn’t great Ot was nog good fresh at all

A huge thank you to Kellie she is an asset to this branch, always helpful, attentive and smiling. We enjoy our experience due to her customer service skills. Food is great, good portion sizes and tastes delicious. I would highly recommend to our friends and family.

Everything was perfect. The waitress Julie was the only waitress on and she was brilliant, she was great with every customer and gave the best service to everyone. She took everything in her stride and dealt with everyone's needs to perfection. Alot of waitresses could learn alot from you.

First visit in 6 years. Food was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will go back. Went back after 6 months and was disappointed with my steak. I probably should have sent it back because it was under cooked, full of gristle and very chewy. It may be some time before I go back.

Had to leave a review as I was gobsmacked at how good the food was (came in with low expectations). Would rather get peri peri chicken from here than nandos any day. Chicken was succulent and even the chips were really good!

It was truly magnificent. I recommend it to everyone. Everyone appreciates good service.

Unfortunately the salad bar has limited choice not like it use too (no jalapeños or peppers, breadsticks), the corn on cob is boiled to mush the chicken with the waffles was from frozen it is very sad to say that this particular harvester is not it's best.

What delightful pleasant staff. Seating good location atmosphere very good and service outstanding. Orders taken for drinks and wasn’t left long for food order. Food was very well presented and hot also cooked to the customers request. Thank you to the staff well managed restaurant. Recommended for nice family day out for something to eat
